That friggin snarl is going to be the end of me.
I'd rather have the wings have more structure, having something that's a little more solid. I know it was a problem with the old version, but I feel like it could be a nice fix.
I also think Greg had a nice point with the rabbit leg. Fluffier legs to match the fluffy arms would be A+
Absolutely my favorite revamp since the Ontra, even with the little things I'd like to see changes. Who's the artist, ?
I absolutely love this. I love that it looks like, if he wanted to, the charlie could walk on all fours or his hind legs. The revamp has so much more personality now, and is beautifully done. I've never had interest in charlie before, but this actually makes me want one. As for the wings mentioned above, there's a small line close the charlie's shoulder that begins the wing. Maybe this could be brought out even more to make the wings feel more wing-like.
The Charlie (one of my favourites on here I'm waiting for the perfect name to finally get one haha) always strike that mischievous impmon vibe (digimon impmon) so that sneaky smile was always a plus with me and not a full out grin. I also love the old ones legs! But the eyes are waaay better now, and the shading is beautiful. I also agree on the wings though, it's missing something like more detail or veins.
The thing, other than the wings, that bugs me is how the color is even on the ear tips. Like the old one, looks like he got into paint or something, it's splotched on. The new tips are smoothed out. I think it's kinda keep with his personality if it looked like he just got into something. xD I think if the wings will keep the coloring lighter on the bottom, too, it should also be splotchy like the old one's ears. ^_^
I like charlies and i like the new one tbh. Few things bother me though. They're a bit minor but
Edited it a bit; trying not to change the anatomy design of it too much. The head just seems way too oversized on the body, even for cartoony standards. also kind of looked like the neck is coming from its chin a bit, so moved the head forward a tad. The wing things- the large part looks like it had very little support from where it's attached to the rest of the wing, to me. Also with how the shoulder was positioned, it made the body look weirdly narrow/flattened. and the grin kind of looked too big for the bottom part of the face, so narrowed that down a little. Love the new pose though. Like it better than the old one overall.
What the others said - the expression and the overall details are great. But the wings are not. And please, takte a chance to make the head less oversized compared to the body. It looks as if the neck would snap any moment because it cannot hold the weight. The ears are twice the size of the feet, the eyes as large as the paws. That looks to me more like a caricture than a "real" pet.
I didn't know I needed that grin until you edited it. Good job, it's looking great.
I wasn't a huge fan of chalies, but this one looks devious and evil and quite awesome! He looks like he's plotting something.
Nice job :D
- is still the artist of the Charlie! I'm so so proud of how amazing her art has become (she did the dry bovyne challenger too!)

Personally the wonky wings are part of the Charlie's character along with those hairs that come out here and there.
The new one definitely looks more mischievous and scheming, but I do like the earlier suggestion for more membranous wings--I think it would fit better.
they/them/theirs, please.
has all the mischievous pets under her belt, right? NOT SURPRISING, KNOWING HER
- definitely most of them!
I never considered owning a Charlie before. But these small changes, man, I might need one after the revamp goes through. I love that expression!
I never noticed the shading on the head till you pointed it out. Now I cannot unsee that off-color circle. Its all I see when I look at it now

Revamp looks much nicer, much more personality to it. Overall, I approve.
Points of contention: the wings, which come across as lumpy, plastic things; eyes could probably be a bit closer, maybe larger; and the ear wart really ought to keep its weird hairs unless it's supposed to be seen as a tumor; that side hair tuft feels incongruous and misplaced (unless it's meant to); body could be bigger as the head is more reminiscent of a bobblehead and possibly a less strong line/shading on the head and neck shows how it's attached like in the current version.

While I like everything about the new one (wings aside) There's a certain charm about the bottom-heavy stance of the old one. I think that's what's making the new version look so disproportionately large-headed.
The head is big. Like really big. Like wider than its body. I guess I never payed much attention to the Charlie before 'cause it's big on the old one too. But its waist and legs also look bigger on the old one too so I guess it balances out a bit more.
The wings are a bit weird but I'm whatever on that. Tons of pets/fictional animal creature things have weird appendages that don't quite seem to translate to real life. If the Charlie lovers are happy with it than I'm happy with it.
Its expression is priceless. A++ on that.
I also agree that the wings could use a bit more work. But other than these things, I really like the new look!
