Yeah, count me in with the others that don't like the new muzzle.

I also prefer the bigger tail ornaments on the older one.

and i will agree, yeah, it does seem to be lacking some of its... previous mysteriousness? its pose originally was lanky and fun, this does feel stiffer

I'm not a big fan of the pose. It looks like it's about to leap up, rather than resting forward like the original. I think the muzzle needs to be sharper/slightly more concave and less rounded, and I'm also not a big fan of how the face is turning away, either. It looks like it's stuck between turning away and looking at you, and that's awkward. The wings are great, the shading's great, but I think the image in general needs to be sharpened up. It's looking blurry.

But i keep squinting at the face since it looks kinda... flat or something? :o

I love everything about the revamp except the head. I think it's the snout that looks a little squashed in. It looks like it needs to be a little longer or have a steeper angle between the cheeck bone and the jawline

It's a pretty update, but it needs some oomph and life to the pose and face..

I adore the new wings, the body pose and anatomy are all spiffy but I think I'll miss the fox face if the new one goes through as is. The proposed face has a bit of a Roman nose, which isn't a bad thing but takes away from the sleek look, and blocks the view of markings around the far eye.

Oh, I also prefer the dangly little feathers on the old one.

I like everything about it! Things I like best:

• Ear floofs.
• Tight tail ring with feathers looks awesome.
• Wings are so detailed!
• Bigger muzzle.

Only thing I would change is slightly larger nose, like the actual little raisin nose. Teensy bit bigger.

I like it a lot! I think it would be better though with a bit more curve around the snout/muzzle area, closer to the old version. That would just give it a bit more character, imo. Other than that part, I think the rest of it looks great!

The one is rather nice, but the nose looks off, maybe shorten it.

While 99% of this looks amazing! :D The one "oddity" for me is the snout. It looks more like a bull terrier's snout than a fox and I always loved the "foxy"ness of the older version. But again, I LOVELOVELOVE the more "realistic" look to the revamp as well as the pose. :) The proportions are very nice. xx

The current art is totally outdated, so I'm all for the revamp. However....now that I look at the current art again, I realize it was missing a mouth even in the old art. Or maybe you guys can see one? I sure can't.

Ahhh oh man it looks great! I'm so glad for the updated wings and tail like. Wow. Not even joking aha.

The only concern I have is that the snoot/face angle seems rather like... idk, a bull terrier? Which seems a bit more sharply downturned than the original, which seems to have a fox-ish face? That and the nearest ear seems a touuch too far back on its head, which I know.. like... both of the things I've pointed out are trying to keep in line with the old montre's art but they could... probably use a tweak for the new one aha ;x;

That said, I really am delighted! I adore these grumpy fur balls!

My first impression is that the revamp looks like a younger version of the old one. I've seen the montre as a sort of mysterious cool guy, and the newer version seems like what he was like before he became mysterious, but still cool. ;)

I liked the detail done with the wing on the new piece, but I feel it was placed too far forward. The whole head doesnt look right in comparison with the original..its like you lose the feel of what makes the montre a montre with the new art..like it changed canine species or something. So I had to overall vote against the new one even though I liked a lot of it.

• Love the shading on the new design

• Wings look fantastic

• Legs look more realistic

• The Head shape is weird. Not sure what else is wrong but it just doesn't look right

• The front paws look too small compared to the rest of the body

• The eyes could be a bit bigger

First up, yay for revamp, and thanks for letting us users give our input on site stuff! ^-^

I do prefer the slinky pose and the sharp eyes of the original. Would love the wings of the new one to be raised higher or opened up a little more as per the old one. Muzzle on the new one is also too straight, would love it curved out more. But I love the shading and details on the wings, tail and underbelly! The sheen on the paw and tail markings are also beautiful c:

Overall I believe that there is still much improvement that can be done to the Montre revamp, but this is definitely a step in the right direction ^-^

I like most of it but the muzzle is too straight or something, I'm not entirely sure. I'm just not digging the muzzle.
