its if you are above the cap (so applies to t13). it gradually increases as your speed increase, but goes to shit if your health touches 10k or more.
But yeah, im sure its getting changed soon.
I really dont understand how these things are not thought in advanced for.
like the tier 13 thing was done last night. Wut? how was this not the first thing done. Or the fact that stopping pets from earning XP after being capped was only implemented 5 yrs later.
theres SO MUCH GOOD DONE to this system that gets overshadowed by things like this.
I feel really dumb...
So can someone let me know if I'm getting this right?
Healing caps at 9999HP you get 10k+ your weapons with a fixed percentage heal will ONLY heal 100hp?
Since scrolls cannot be custom coded... and you get a 10% heal from that... does that mean...
If you're sitting at 10k health and you use 2 weapons with a heal + your 10% heal on your scroll you're getting only 1200hp heal every round... as opposed to probably getting a bigger heal if you were at a mere 9999? Or am I getting this all wrong?
when it comes to the Cronus. Yes. Other high ranked weapons are supposed to follow suit.
It heals based on speed, until you have 10k health, then it heals for 100hp. this is for only t13 pets, so after old cap.
At least, thats what it is right now
Someone would say maybe it is time to "purge" some battle admins. Har har har.
Mature issues aside, if you can't defend your own revamp, maybe there was a problem with it all along. All I see is you giving up on day two.
I've backed the speed change even though I understand where people that currently are at 3K come from, as this is a big game changer for them. One that they really could have prepared in advance if they had had the information, which would have made the transition so much smoother.
But the healing penalty past 10k ? Welp. That's just you forcing onto us one build you want everyone to have as (I'm guessing) it would make designing challengers easier. But it also takes a lot of fun out of Subeta's battle system if you can't be creative and innovative with your builds. Those are my arguments, what are yours ?
(Because text affects the width of your signature, we suggest testing with all text removed to be sure your width is correct.)

I'd hardly call that a catastrophic meltdown, guys, come on.
Healing still caps at 9999 HP now, but it'll heal 999 instead of 100 (so, no penalty for training over 9999 HP). We'd still like to tweak how healing works, but we won't reinstate a penalty.
If you guys have suggestions for how to improve the BC (especially with regards to making speed useful), we'd like to hear them, but tone down the sarcasm, please. I know this is frustrating for you, but it's equally frustrating for us to try to work within this outdated, restrictive battle system, especially when every change we make is met with sarcasm and ridicule.
Wow, great reaction from the admin there. You can't expect to do a complete 180 on the way the heal system has always been and be shocked when people discuss it and are upset/confused by it. It doesn't even make sense, literally. What does speed have to do with healing, in any sense of anything in life? You heal based on your health. Like when I get a cold, do I get better based on how fast I can run? So yeah, people are all mixed up.
Why would you throw a hissy fit, that's so immature.
I have a suggestion. Keep healing the way it was? Why does that have to change. There are tons of things that can be updated/changed before that even needs to come into play. And I'm saying that as someone who isn't even at 3k speed and I haven't noticed a difference yet XD
see what you have done ppl i liked the new setup YOU SHOULD HAVE trained speed to start and you would have loved it to
Live your Life to the fullest cause you never know what will happen tomorrow......
I made the suggestion of adding in 'mini crits' to the system. Higher chances of an extra 20% damage or something rather than a full doubling. Increasing blessing chances against opponents with speed lower than you, decreased chances of opponents freezing you etc.
Also yes some people are harsh but that's no reason to rage quit the revamp. I mean, people were obviously going to be unhappy with some of these changes.
to be far I think most people were rather enthusiastic to hear about speed being tied in to healing. The fact is that it just was not done well, at all. I mean, i have a t11, 0 speed pet, and my capped pet is 2k speed, I knew speed was going to be made more useful but I kept my speed low regardless, and I was really interested in the new change as soon as I read it would be coming. When I saw exactly how it worked, I was just in awe. There have been continuous suggestions on ways to make speed useful and desirable and viable and even some ways to make a heavier speed build the best. But forcing us to have 6k speed, having every 999 stats have ABSOLUTELY 0 effect, it just doesn't make sense, I honestly think it was just really poorly thought out "quick fix" to "give us what we wanted"
I'm just so confused. I have a t10, does this speed healing thing affect me? Do i suddenly have to start training speed? What the fuck is going on.

Ooh, I like 's idea! I also think it would be neat to add a bit of a boost as far as chance to freeze first or avoid being frozen on the first turn, esp with opponents like GE, that jackass.
My suggestion would be to make it so opponents' speed stays static no matter how many wins you have on them. You'd probably need to tweak the stats to get the balance back, but once you did I think that would really incentivize people to train speed more. As it is now, yeah, you can train speed to 3,666 so Prod can't crit you, but by battle 2 you're back in the same boat so what's the point?
I also like the idea of having a chance of dodging being frozen or cursed being tied to speed. The flavor text would say "XXX tried to curse you but you were too fast!" or something so you knew that it actually happened.
lolol
I swear, he's such a jerk. I still have the same kind of problems with him when I was T9 as I do now at T12. Like fuck you, man. Seriously.
I'm glad to see the penalty removed, first of all (that was rather mean, considering speed is such a requirement now that a lot of people are going to have to take some time to work on, I think that's enough).
I don't think, though, that healing would be such a game ender for people if there wasn't such a focus on it in the first place. As it stands now, once you hit about tier8 if a weapon doesn't heal it's useless (unless you're fighting an effigy or whatever else might have healing disabled) (or if it's a weapon who's point isn't healing). I think that is a good place to start when it comes to healing epidemic of subeta, followed shortly by the critting.
I know that became a thing to keep smaller pets from hitting harder challengers, but tiers were supposed to nip those problems in the butt (there's exceptions of course, there always will be)... but as someone explained wonderfully a few pages+ back.. our pets cannot literally out speed challengers who crit the hardest once it gets past 3 or 4 wins, unless we dumped basically all of our stats into speed which isn't realistic.
If the critting aspect was done away with, or altered, then users probably wouldn't have breakdowns over healing being touched. Instead, challengers could just hit harder, or have more defense, to become bigger issues.. not to mention them healing or having freeze protection has always given us a run for our money crit or no crit.
If the critting system was removed as it is now and instead offered an anti-crit/damage buffer, it would be more beneficial than it is now. Something to the tune of: my pet has more speed, so can better "dodge" attacks from the challenger-- if speed is higher, there's a 25% chance of taking 25% less damage of an attack or 50% chance of dodging a freeze/steal attempt (works both ways, both my pet and the challenger)... making it harder for the slower of the two to hit harder/freeze/steal/whatever. Speed levels could also aid in blessing/curse activation rates (bonus 5% per mod per 1k stats over x).
If pet and challenger's speed is within like 10-25% of one another, this is moot.
PS: god I hate GE. Forever. FOREVER. A great change would be to add more tiers to his stupid achievement, too, 20 and 30 wins with another smasher at each tier? please and thank you |D
I love that idea as well!
See, people have suggestions. I wish these changes had been run by users before they went live, a lot of problems could have been avoided and some cool things added into the system :c
Yessss yessssssssssssssssss
Omg not more please. We deserve a Smasher for every time we have to look at his smug face. (in reality I'd like one at 25 though, with Shrieks retired and Smashers taken out the 5th win drop it's harder for newer battles to get their cool scrolls.)
