So this new speed/heal tie in is complete bullshit! I imagined that higher speed would negate the healing cap. Now speed just simply nullifies healing. I agree with other people here, that this is immensely unfair to smaller pets (haven't they - or rather their owners - suffered enough by losing their expensive weapons to the tier system?) This indeed should only apply to probably starting at t10 up to t13 (heureka!). Yet, as I said, the current concept, that reduces our healing altogether instead of rewarding extra speed with additional healing is just as bad as the new stat prices. Even worse when combined, because how can we catch up with our speed at this rate?!

So all the talk of surprises along with the cap raise merely was sticking out the tongue at us.

The best part is making it a guessing game. Obviously it has already been put into effect, while we were told it would be explained and then introduced. Which indeed would be the correct way to go.

Honestly, guys, you had so long to prepare, saying you were all set and done, only waiting for the programmers, then stretching it another month, which is fine by me, but now everything is a mess and not planned through once more?

I have read up discussions and postings with numbers and weighing up new speed benefit against health only etc. and the new concept became even more gloomy and current disadvantage obvious.

Hello -admins! We were begging for the (promised and planned) cap raise in order to move ON with our pets. We definitely did not ask for yet another big shock and disappointment, the umptieth downgrade of our weapons and once again setting our pets BACK. Apart from the fact that you PROMISED this would never ever have to happen again, we have been there so, so, so often, it is sickening and definitely enough. That means: we should still be able to fight the same challengers with the same success we did 2 days ago with the very same stats and weapons. You know what? Just roll back and give us the old cap and simply let it all be. Sitting safe and sound in front of the locked gate rejoicing in the status quo is at least better than being tossed down the cliff once again and licking our wounds as we aimlessly climb back upwards only to eventually sit at the next locked gate, which is only 5 feet further than the first with nothing great accomplished. Remember, we have all the other pets to still do the hard climbing to the first gate, the old ones don't need to do the identical trip again, they want to progress or at least enjoy what they have accomplished! I'm sick and tired of being ridiculed by this site every 2 years for still playing this site! But I guess reducing 100k XP to 800k sP should have been foreboding enough that nothing good is going to come out of it.

The only positive part for the smaller pets in this health bound nightmare is that they can at least afford buying stats with their new wins after the reset. Otherwise they're just as fubar as we are.

As stating before I understood the mentioning of speed's new impact, that indeed pets would need more than the average number of that stat to get the "original" full heal, but not to THAT extent, plus I expected over average speed (5k to 7k) to leviate and nihilate the healing cap on relevant weapons.

Really dumb query/question : now that speed is the new heal why doesnt health cost the same as the other 3 stats? High health =/= proportionate healing atm so why is health still costing according to the old health = heal system?

Drakan has 3965 speed (and 3606 str, 2805 def) and Cronus Blade is only healing 100hp and defending 120 magma (additional 20 from base). Pretty much the same as Dark Rexel who has 3k speed and nearly even other stats.

Are there other factors in it? I hope not because that's going to complicate things more.

Well, now that there is a 13th tier, I can code it so that it just affects t13 pets. That's who this is geared for to begin with.

Speed is the only factor for the healing. Every 1000 speed is a new healing/defense tier. Caps at 6k speed. Health cap is at 9999, at which a severe healing penalty comes down.

That's odd. I wonder if 3K def is what makes the trick. One way of checking that out would be to leech Dark Rexel of 2 points of def, and test again Apparently not

? It would have been nice to say that when you raised the cap, as there's people who've crossed the 9999 "cap" since then. This needs some clarification. It feels like you're forcing us to all have the same build, that's no fun.

Wow, my healing abilities took a huge hit from this change. I was healing 351 HP per turn with my healing weapons before (used to have consistent healing percentages prior to the change). Now I'm down to 235, which makes a lot of the work done to get up to 351 completely moot. I worked for ages to get my healing ability up that high, and now it's been nerfed by 34% in a single day. Not cool Subeta. Really not cool.

Who's going to know that there's a healing handicap at 9999hp? I was kind of thinking about the forced build you mentioned in my mind as well.

Yeah I edited my post in the meantime. Healing penalty seriously sounds like bullshit. It's no different from saying that you can't get any health past 9999, as health was only ever really important because of its healing capability.

Yeah that's BS. The extra HP didn't come without tradeoffs. I had to sacrifice str and speed which made some impossible challengers harder otherwise. And percentage healing was still capped using the 7.5hp limit.

But now it's too bad you crossed the (hp) line now on top of that? (And overcapping your pet is ok as long as it's below 9999hp?)

What a mess.

Wait, just for clarification: Let's say my pet has 12000 health. In battle, if it falls below 9999, I will get the full healing? Or does that mean if my pet has 12000 health total, I will still be penalized even if my hp falls below 9999 in battle? :o

I hate to be a bitch here, but you wanted this cap raise...and with it came changes. so you don't like them, personally I don't care either way.

I don't see what is so wrong with having to do some work on your stats. so you feel you got "fucked over" and all of this other bs...here are some words for you...with every positive there are negatives too....so fucking deal with it and move on. so in other words suck it up.

I am excited for these changes, I was not affected very much by it, because I trained all of my stats. So you had one build, now you need to change it. So you have to put some more work and time into things...you do not need to have instant gratification. Where is the satisfaction in that.

you wanted a cap and with it came change...so deal with it.

So, how do we distribute 35K stats ? Now we pretty much know that you need at least the following :

10K HP 6K Speed

That doesn't leave much to imagination. 19K to distribute between strength and defense. Honestly that's a lot for just these two stats.

Dark Rexel's got 10174hp and almost 3k even stats and he's still only getting 100hp heal on the K-wand while fighting prodigy when under 10k remaining hp.

They are revising the weapons again. Hopefully they change it back to before so we can think about this a bit more before doing serious tweaks to the rest of the weapons.

i've got to echo the sentiment that it really seems like we're being coerced into taking similar/identical builds.

you set your speed too low? fuck you, now you can't heal. pumped your health too high? fuck you for thinking you could stop at 10,000 hp, now your healing is penalized.

part of the fun of training multiple pets is figuring out how different builds affect the game. if you're going to strong arm in all these unwritten snare traps for people who train "wrong," you might as well put a strong cap on individual stats that you don't want us training over for whatever weird ass-pull reasons you've got in that cuzsubeta bag over there. that'd still be super shitty, but at least it'd be less patronizing than the illusion of free choice we're being given right now.
