It was tedious, but it worked, all 32 scrolls removed. Now I have an inventory full of scrolls without name tags lol.
Shouldn't the default scroll set be attached to a pet when you go into a battle instead of having to select it? (I apologize if this has already been mentioned)
Yes it should! There are a lot of little things that will be fixed up before this goes live. It's requiring a lot of testing because the BC code is super old and terrible. :P
Thanks Amy. I thought that one was pretty obvious but I didn't see it mentioned. I love all of these changes and I look forward to all the fixes!

It would be nice if the "see results" bar went all the way across like the "start battle" bar does
Going back to page 1 of this thread:
Is speed still a subject, actually? Are you guys trying to make it more useful, important? Are you working on stats in general any longer or is everything supposed to stay the way it has been?
I'm holding off using my new boosters until that issue has been resolved.
I don't think I like having to choose a scroll set before going into battle. Default like the weapons would be fine. The way it's now all my pets are equipped with a basic set to go into battle with an average challenger. I'm doing BQs with 4 pets (t11-13, 55-151 AP), who all can use the default weapons set and are outfitted with a viable scroll set. So I don't need to switch around anything before starting to battle, all I need is choose the pet and I am all set.
What I actually had in mind for a scroll library was for pets to retain their individual scroll set, but I can drag and drop from the library if needed. Plus use one and the same scroll on various pets simultaneously, since we no longer can fight multiple battles at the same time anyway.
Once this is live, when you click the "battle with default weapons" button on the challenge an opponent page, it'll use your default weapon and scroll sets.
Oh that is just awesome news, been wanting that for quite some time now, thanks for letting us know! :D
I know I'm being repetitive and cumbersome, but are you guys still tossing around ideas concerning stats, how they correlate, DPI/API etc.? I've read that others wonder as well and postpone advancing their top pets until further notice from you on this issue.
Not until this stuff is done.
The "battle with defaults" button uses your default scroll set now on the test server. Opponent HP bug is fixed. And now when you hit the "choose weapons" button it already has your pet selected. Coming along!
Your pet doesn't automatically get selected when you use the battle again feature.
Also, it would be nice if your default scrolls were selected when you went to start a new battle.
That would make it smoother if you wanted to just switch around some weapons (As opposed to just hitting the battle with default set button.)
If he is working on small fixes to the BC - Adding that Battle with Default pet and set would be a nice addition to the battle again and battle quests as well.

Would be cool if 'fight this opponent again' jumped you straight back into a fight, bypassing the select weapons/select pet page. Would make things easier, especially where smaller challengers and especially jellies are concerned. xD
Passed that feedback along! Thanks, guys. :)
If you are looking at small things, it be nice if the difficulty level was put back on challengers. It's confusing to new battlers why challengers are sorted the way they are. We find out from the token drop anyway, so I don't see why it has to be a secret.
I'm not talking about the horrible too easy, too hard classification. That was always messed up and inaccurate since it never took into account what weapons, spells or understanding of battle people had.
Are speed tweaks still on the cards for the near future? As someone with a relatively low speed pet, I'm sat on over 2m EXP that I don't want to spend if I'm going to seriously gimp myself given how punishing the EXP costs are.
I would also like to know if you are still working on changing speed. I've been raising speed on my secondary pets past my original goals based on something still being in the works. I really don't want to end up having to leach speed off them >< [edit] Response in Battle Chat
