I think a better way to do it would be to have a total of 60 quests with only up to 30 compleateable in a day and have it go by tiers rather than the old difficulty system (which I feel is outdated at this point). I feel that would give better difficulty progression and not make it nearly as luck based (Malerias Familiar and Prodigy are actually far apart in difficulty).

WHAT IF.
You could choose which range of 5 battles you wanted to battle in? Example, beginning pet owners could stick with the lower ranges. Middle of the road pets could stick in the middle. Higher pets could go to the top.
Anyone would be free to go up or down if they wanted a challenge/something easy.
BUT to keep it from being a cakewalk for anyone, you could make it so no one could choose the same range more than say, 3-4 times per day? Out of the 30 total battles. So you would also have to go into other ranges. That would encourage new battlers to challenge themselves, and curb the amounts of daily exp that more experienced battlers were getting. Which I think is what the basic goal of this was?
I like this.
I mean, I curbstomp Recycle Beast, but I don't think I can take on Saggi. I'd rather have two sets of medium even if it means much less exp.

Yeah! And if you wanted to practice on Saggi without racking up losses (:P) you could choose the higher range after you've used your mid-range, just to play around and see what's up. BQs are a great way to practice on opponents you have a hard time with b/c no pressure :D
Well, I'm out. It's not fun fighting old opponents if you can't earn their prizes or achievements.
So, I'm on Level 30 and have Prodigy and tried 5 times and still can't knock him out. What do I do, wait until midnight when it resets. Let me know if there is something I can do.

If you lose and click to go back to the battle you'll be sent into an ACTUAL battle with him. (sorry if you knew this already) [edit] Huh yeah I just realized there's no time limit set on beating challengers.
Ew.
I think the revamped BQs should be in a separate testing place for now.
There are plenty of interesting suggestions and complaints, as well as bugs. It's going to take some time and several attempts to recode as a result.
Edit: Level 29/30 It's time for you to face General Error! Click here to challenge them!
Still has placement issues, but GE's not an impossible challenger so that made things easier this time!
Yeah, maybe I'll give it a go with Prodigy in the morning, since there is no time limit. Goes to use my EXP to help any way possible. :)

The last 10 quests are so fucked up now, you get high exp challengers but only get a shitty fixed amt of xp that to if you finish the 25/30th quests. This system is gold for easy-medium range pets only, for everyone else it is a progressing ripoff.
Give each challenger a specific amount of exp based on difficulty, you get to pick which challengers you fight, maybe a limit of the same challenger no more than twice or something, and only have 5-10 quests a day.
I'd be happy with that.
I miss the small sp prizes to offset healing costs, exp is constant but lacking for higher tiers.
So, I got to level 30. And got Prodigy. I was totally dreading getting him as I knew I can't beat him. Now I'm stuck, after 9 losses I can't be bothered to keep trying. Not fun -_-
One thing i do like is all the old challengers
THANK YOU! NHS... Think pink this October..
Quit button?

Meh. I always do every BQ each day. I feel like even the tiny shit exp from easy/med challengers adds up over time. For some reason this system feels like everything takes longer. I think there is more clicking to get to and from quests or maybe it just feels that way. I can blow through all the challengers so it isn't having more difficult ones to fight that's slowing me down. Slower is not better.
I'm not going to repeat what everyone else said since exp on every win and being able to quit challengers is going to be added back in. Good!
I will say it sucks there isn't something extra for having a gold account. I may let my gold expire for the first time in years because of that.
Eh. They were okay. I don't think they are an improvement, by any stretch. I liked the randomness before and sorely missed it - BQs aren't exactly riveting, particularly if you're able to beat all the challengers and have been able to for over a year - some variation helped break up the routine; even though it's rare to average over 30k, when you did, it felt really good. Though it's a small reduction from the previous average of 23,583 EXP, it feels a lot more clinical and less exciting. Now you're jumping through the same hoops every day for the same reward.
Going through the easy challengers at the beginning is going to get old fast, too, as I can blitz through the first 15 opponents in one turn. At least before, they blended in between the Prodigys. I also received General Error twice in my Impossible challengers which was eh.
I don't know what was decided on the skipping but Keith's ask of skipping to level 16 would definitely be used on me if I do BQs.
