that would require missing out on 37.5% of the exp, yes? I don't think anyone wants that.

OMG, Can levels please, please PLEASE not be reset to at midnight?? Can we at least be left at the level we went in at if daily quests reset??

So unfair! It just told me that I beat level one, and got 0 EXP for beating Cloud Sylth guy at level 25.

  1. Did not enjoy being reset at least twice back to the beginning, considering now you have to work your way up from the very bottom of challengers. I know that has nothing to do with the revamp and the actual BQ feature, I guess, but I wish this had been beta tested or something, because it got pretty annoying pretty quick, especially with the errors popping up. Hopefully nothing like that happens tomorrow?

  2. I wasn't crazy about the fact that exp is every 5th win at first and I'm still not convinced I like it even after doing my quests. I'm assuming the exp you get every 5th win is a bundle of the exp you'd get for that quest and the four that've come before it. But what if by some chance I couldn't beat the challenger I got on quest 20? That means I'd get no exp for quests 16-19, and that's annoying.

I don't hate the revamp but tbh I don't like BQs any more than I did before they were changed. Some things haven't changed - they're just as tedious as they used to be, and I can beat about the same amount of challengers, and I still get a ton of junk prizes. But exp, while probably the same amount, is given out in a more annoying way. I'll try to stick with the quests for a few more days but tbh I'm probably not even going to bother after the NEWNESS of the revamp wears off.

TL/DR: Still boring, not worth it if I'm not even promised the exp I'm supposed to be battling for, but thank you for giving it attention.

[edit]

Editing to say I, too, would like to see fewer quests rrrr the ability to skip quests.

My thoughts on this:

  1. There's a better chance of getting a battle token This can offset the reduced exp earned if you can buy boosters from the battle shop. And it's also great for battlers saving tokens for other stuff in the battle shop.

  2. Sometimes it's not really random I got Tormented Effigy three times in extremely hard, and Chase three times in impossible. That's over half of the five battles in each tier, and I feel like fighting the same opponents again when they aren't spaced out randomly between battle 1 and 30 like before.

  3. The exp for impossible challengers is low in terms of effort v.s reward compared to the lower tiers. It's 5k exp for quite a bit more time spent compared to the lower tiers. With the old BQs you would have gotten at least twice as much exp.

  4. I appreciate the work bringing the older challengers back

  5. Prizes still are bland like the old BQs But I know it's being worked on.

voting for:

  1. 15 quests per day like most of the other quests on here
  2. exp given out after each fight
  3. be able to skip any fight we want without limitations

The BQ count on the sidebar quest widget needs to be updated :D

can anyone confirm that losses still do not tarnish your record o.O?

So now that we can't really skip the little biddies anymore (Eclipse I'm looking at you), can we up the timeline for the multiple armory sets so I can send my little kids into the fray?

EXP after each battle is a yes please.

One thing I will say is that no time limit is really cool, because once I fight Prodigy taking more than 30 minutes will be okay.

Yeah, as much as I hate having to try to do 30 quests, I definitely don't want to lose out on exp on the front end. Especially if I end up getting to 25-30 and Prod shows up again and makes me lose that exp too. He's kinda a jerk like that.

I don't know. BQs are just really boring (they were before too) and the thought of having to do all 30 every day or missing out on a significant chunk of exp is just not appealing (rather than like the 40 exp or other dismal amounts some of these were giving out before that I could skip when I didn't have much time/patience/whatever).

Are we still going to have to remember to manually click through the link every time to retry an opponent?

Glad to hear that much has been/will be resolved and that exp will be reconsidered. n_n

I don't mind earning less exp than before as long as I don't feel like I'm working a lot harder for that smaller amount (which is how I felt trying to suffer through those 30 quests - whether or not I was I can't say for certain but I certainly felt that way).

I personally like 30, I got 5 cracks at impossible tokens, which is far better than with the old system.
Yeah I have to work my way there, but call me crazy, I don't mind. With the old system, when the last 2 opponents were Aboxalypse, it was a real let down. I now have at least 5 battle I know I will enjoy. The lower exp payout I expected, so I was prepared for the shock. I like that it is similar to Item hunt, if you don't make it, you don't continue.

general error is in the last batch, so you don't truly have 5 solid chances at imp tokens, but still better than the old system

Who gets a constant 45k exp payout everyday? The top still stays the top. And I am still being pushed farther away from being able to cap because "I get too much exp per day" when I can't use the training center, can't auto train, and can't get a decent exp payout. I can only buy my way to the top now?

I'm going to bed before I rage quit Subeta.

Wins, losses, and ties aren't recorded just like the old BQs. I withdrew once because I started late and was running out of time before midnight.

Like said, what's the difference between GA and non-GA? Do non-GAs get less exp? Do they still have to go through 30 quests?

And from comments earlier, I agree the all-or-nothing exp for each set of 5 unskippable battles which you must win is frustrating.
