Stupidly enough, that is actually what happened. It makes battling on a mobile device especially a pain.

haha ok just making sure I wasn't going insane. I knew it had been removed, then I remember being thrilled it was back. Then I came back from being out of town over the weekend and it was gone again. Wtf? Maybe the programmers will finally get it fixed.
I just think if they started making more of an effort to fix the small problems (meaning easier to fix) that are important to us, and keeping on top of that stuff, we'll be more willing to stick it out through the long haul.
But what do I know? I don't run a petsite, I just play several.
Can I remind admins here, that the random generator still seems to be broken. With the huge challenger pool in all but the impossible range (and there is still enough in there, actually) it CANNOT happen to everybody and every day, that we get the very same challenger twice, 3, even 4 times in a row!?
Also nobody has responded to my problem, that my GA is still running for another 5 months with me now getting nothing for (is it?) $ 30?
The size of the pool is problem, not the generator. With only 3 challengers, there's a 1/9 chance you'll see a single challenger 3 or 4 times out of 4 quests. Then say you're using both your skips on those 4 quests - say you take 6 quests. There's a 213/729 chance you'll see a single challenger at least 3 times - approximately ~30% of the time, which is really high. And because those occasions are frustrating (trying to get rid of GE, etc) you'll end up remembering them more. Widening the pool with even a couple of challengers would help things immensely.
(feel free to correct me if my maths is wrong, my stats are so rusty whoops)
I'm too lazy to do the maths and I would believe you're right anyway, but I was exempting the impossible section, actually only referring to the lower tiers, and there are definitely plenty of challengers in there.
Ah right. Sorry for misunderstanding! I'm pretty diligent with my quests and have rarely noticed large chains repeatedly - I remember once I got Hustler 4 times in a row but otherwise tend to see some variety between quests. The fact we're dipping into (relatively) small pools six times a day means it wouldn't necessarily be an uncommon occurrence, though.
