That's what it does :) "Skipping will cancel this quest and let you challenge another opponent on the same level."

Amazing name change by the way :D

Why ty! It's my middle name (after my real name cleared and I slept through it fmylife) Does skipping to a tougher guy have an effect on the exp given, or are we just farming for tokens now?

The challengers of the same difficulty all give the same exp, except the 5th one which gives more. The token rate is greatly increased. I don't know the rate, but I guess it's around 50 percent.

Currently, if you skip from level 1 to 15, you'll miss out on all those exp and battle tokens. So I wouldn't advise skipping them unless you're incredibly tight on your time budget.

And the bugged GE will still drop ex-hard tokens, so if you have him in the impossible section (Lev 26-30) you should just skip him.

I just did. Twice! xD Yep, the first 15 one hit battles are actually a better deal than they would have been pre-revamp.

Yes, the first 15 quests gives more exp than they would under the old BQs. So lower tier pets rejoice! And if there's still no filler for the 15 skipped quests, I think most battlers will eventually find the "fast forward" button nearly pointless.

In total the exp is actually a bit better than the average from the old BQs.

I used my one skip on the Gate Keeper and was then immediately challenged by... the Gate Keeper x____x

Is it possible to prevent this from happening (at least on the retry. Like if I skip on quest 21 it CANNOT appear on my next attempt at 21, but it could show up on 22 or any point thereafter) because that would be fantastic. I understand if it's just a coding luck of the draw and nothing can be done about it, but if it's possible to prevent that set of circumstances that would be really nice.

I definitely support that idea, but I think the main problem right now is that the challenger pool is too small and that the algorithm for choosing challengers seems to be repeating far too often to say the least.

I got used to the new way and did my BQs everyday since the revamp so that's a good thing.

What I still hate though are the buttons. Why is the "Challenge" button on the left while the (far too big) "Skip" button sits comfortably in the middle of the page? Especially during the lower levels I don't really pay attention to what I'm doing so it already happened that I accidentally clicked on the "Skip" link what's annoying because I want to save my skips for Prodigy.

Would it be possible to make the Skip Button smaller (even a simple text link would be better than this red monster button) and to move the Challenge button more towards the middle?

[edit]

And yeah can we please kick GE out of the top tier? I got him today on quest 26-29 and Extremely Hard Tokens aren't what I want on these quests. :x

I have one huge concern that I think was mentioned before but I'd like to add to it anyhow. Where the heck are our quest points and where's the ridiculously expensive 10k quest points for some mediocre novelty weapon in the battle quest quest point shop? Sure we get battle tokens for battling but we ought to get quest points for questing as well. And that means a shop to go with it. And what better way to add in super expensive items for people who aren't interested in the wearables and tc fodder in the rest of the quest shops, and have amassed thousands of qp because they do 165 quests nearly everyday :).

meh, I was never fussed about a quest shop for bqs because we already have the battle shop. seems a bit superfluous to have both.

Im pretty sure Keith (?) said no to a BQ quest shop.

But idk why not, as long as its books, opponent/challenger/themed outfits/books/beanbags/plushies. Just dont put weapons/boosters in there.

The buttons/layout are still all over the place. :c There's been so many good suggestions on here with regards to making the page more user-friendly and cohesive.

Also, battle quests still aren't counting in the sidebar.

Oh yeah good point .

While I will say that overall doing the daily quests seems WAAAY more fluid, and the progression does make it into more of a game than a chore with the 5th battles feeling slightly boss like, each individual quest is far from streamlined. There's stupid amounts of unnecessary clicking and things are all over the place and nothing is very aesthetically pleasing. For starters after being assigned an opponent there are three different ways to click to challenge and opponent and yet for some reason the skip this challenger link is still the largest/most prevalent thing and I have to consciously think "don't click that" as if I'm a bug drawn to the light >.<. Easy enough to fix, shrink that button get rid of the in text challenger link and just keep the opponent image and the button link to challenge. Then there's the obvious problem of losing a fight but that should be fixxed... soon? Next most annoying to me is having two reward pages, first the xp/token then an item reward then you click back to the bq start page then you start another quest, it seems like that should be one click. You beat the opponent? Click game over you're sent to reward page. Click the hooray thank you next quest please button from there.

Okay so I'm not really a battler as my "battle" pet is still a baby tier, so I hardly ever did the battle quests as it was (it was just too boring for me, to be honest).

So sorry if my opinion is super irrelevant but...

I remember on the old quests, you could quit a quest if you couldn't beat a challenger. But now, all I have is a skip button, which does me shit good because the challenger level is too hard for me to beat. Why is there no quit button that takes me back to Level 1?

Or am I blind af????

The new battle quest is designed so the challengers increase in difficulty tier every 5 levels, with the 5th one in each difficulty tier being a bit harder than the other 4 before it.

So if the difficulty's too high and you used all 2 skips for the day, then it end there for the day. If you train more, you can get further next time.

I understand how it's designed, but I'd still like a quit button. I train every day so it's like.... this would help if I could, you know, do more quests, even if they were easy opponents?

I can't answer why there's no quit button other than how it's designed, but if I'm training smaller pets only I would like to have more quests too.

I think their reply would be: Because the easy and medium challengers already give more exp than they would from the old quests, and having 30 of those quests would give out too much exp.

It's fine. I didn't expect you to answer.

But it's kinda stupid. I'll get over it though, since like I said, I don't really battle. If they /do/ add more tiers to the achievement, however, I'm probably going to flip some tables because it's not really fair when I can't do half the quests XD

I would like the challenge this opponent again and back to battle page buttons back please! Just shove it down a little ways and/or make the links smaller so when it shows up in BQs it's not in the way of everything else. TY!
