Right now she has an excellent range of canine and feline food, as well as leashes and beds and more, but she's intending to add more stock to the shop throughout the year! So roll up, bring your pets, and be prepared to spoil them rotten!

The Quest-A-Thon has officially started! You have until 11:59pm on September 14 to complete 1,250,000 quests as a team! There’s this great user run thread on the forums to discuss the Quest-A-Thon and cheer each other on. <3

During this time, you will need to complete quests from the following quest givers to have them count: Blue Building, Carl, Cinthia, Mori or Nori, Alexander, Maleria, Pete, Quentin, Saggitarius, Sarah, and The Wizard. Just a reminder that regular users can complete 10 quests per quest giver and Gold Account users can complete 15 quests*.

*Blue Building quests are 5 quests a day for everyone.

If the goal is completed, everyone that has participated** will receive 1 new pet slot, 1 account-bound exclusive wearable (Fashion Hoodie), and 1 exclusive challenger!

**Participation means complete at least 1 quest throughout the Quest-A-Thon.

We are currently looking for new artists to join our creative team. The position will be on a full-time basis, and will be working on an art team in order to create illustrations according to site needs/prompts and well as contributing ideas for site events, plots and new games. The kind of art needed is varied, everything from items and wearables to pets and large art (such as game art, maps and flavour images)

Required:

• You must live in the US
• You must be over 18
• You must have a drawing program that you are comfortable using
• You must have the ability to work on the chat client Slack and the work management tool Asana
• You must have the availability and flexibility to work a minimum of 30 hours per week (or produce work to this effect)
• You must be able to work around holidays
• Your account must be in good standing
• You cannot work for another pet site or similar at the same time as Subeta

Desired:

• Photoshop is the preferred program for drawing, but if you can match our style in another art application we’ll consider that too.
• Ability to draw in the Subeta style.
• Self-motivation and resourcefulness
• Ability to research
• Ability to handle critique and work well with the team
• Ability to give critique
• Something new to bring to the team (ambiguous, but we want you to show your niche talents - examples of this would be being particularly good at something Subeta doesn’t have or could do better with. We’ve had artists in the past who were brilliant at research and organisation, we’ve had artists who are amazing at body modification and monster parts, and artists who excel at machinery)

In your application, you will include at least 3 examples of items, 3 wearables and some forms of larger art (pets, npc, area art). The larger art does not have to be completely polished pieces, but we’d like to get an idea of your anatomy and colouring/shading abilities. The items and wearables should be finished to the best of your ability.

To note, there are certain pet species right now without an artist. If you would like to include a pet in your application, please note our preference to the following species: aeanoid, bumbus, chelon, clawsion, dillema, illumis, pherret, popoko, torrey, tutani.
