Quest-A-Thon: START!!!

The Quest-A-Thon has officially started! You have until 11:59pm on September 14 to complete 1,250,000 quests as a team! There’s this great user run thread on the forums to discuss the Quest-A-Thon and cheer each other on. <3

During this time, you will need to complete quests from the following quest givers to have them count: Blue Building, Carl, Cinthia, Mori or Nori, Alexander, Maleria, Pete, Quentin, Saggitarius, Sarah, and The Wizard. Just a reminder that regular users can complete 10 quests per quest giver and Gold Account users can complete 15 quests*.

*Blue Building quests are 5 quests a day for everyone.

If the goal is completed, everyone that has participated** will receive 1 new pet slot, 1 account-bound exclusive wearable (Fashion Hoodie), and 1 exclusive challenger!

**Participation means complete at least 1 quest throughout the Quest-A-Thon.

Perhaps the quest-a-thon should have been saved for when all of the server updates were complete? There's not even 1000 people online, and the lag is atrocious. I may end up being one of the "1 quest and done" folks, through no fault of my own.

Next one of these things yall do make it less than 14 days. I can care less for the prizes as I do my quests every day. But This lag is just a massive drag.

I do most of my questing early in the morning when there are not a lot of people on but I still get this awful lag and in the afternoon or evening it is so bad, takes 5 mins or more to even load a page. I have no idea how you guys expect people to get these quests done when the lag is so bad. If we fail it'll be because of all the lag on site.

aaaarrrggggh curses Verizon D: (they're my only internet option and the internet has been down for a week....they're discounting my bill but they don't expect to get it fixed until Sunday ;u; that makes questing quite hard since it's so difficult on the mobile site)

hmmm 1 quest for getting all that free stuff huh ??? WOW thats generous of you guys !!! thats for sure (nah that was a joke ;) i do my best to do as many as i can during my online time off course :):) but next week i am on vacation and in the woods i have always terrible connection not sure if that will work then but i do have 5 days to participate so thats better then nothing :)

can we see how many quests we did ?? like you have youre bar on the news page maybe we can get a progress bar too on our quest page so that we can see how many we did during the quest a thon ??? that would be awesome too

or maybe we can get some acheivements like you did 100 - 500 - 1000 -and so on quests during quest a thon 2018 or so ????? just some ideas :)

If you are getting this a lot, you are doing them too fast and you have a speedy connection to the internet. Wait for each purchase to complete before making the next one, and then go back to the quest grantor once the spinning refresh arrow just to the left of your URL box stops moving on any/all purchase tabs/windows. Sometimes this is enough. However sometimes when a lot of people are questing at the same time as you or if there are server probs (and we know they're switching over, so right now it's both), you also need to wait about 2 seconds in between ending one quest and starting another.

My quests are all done for today!

That said, just like past quest-a-thons, I still wish that if we must go with account-bound prizes, they'd be something similar to a loyalty box that has multiple account-bound reward choices for the user to select from. Personally I won't get anything out of the pet slot or the wearable, so my only real hope for any event prize lies in the challenger (which hopefully won't be above my main battle pet's capabilities to defeat, but it could be). I know that I am not the only person who feels this way, even if we are not the majority.

I'll still be participating and doing the quests either way because they're good cash. But for me the actual prizes sound underwhelming again so it makes it feel like there isn't even an event happening - I'm just going about my business doing quests as usual, whereas other events are very distinct to the gameplay experience. On the bright side, I no longer feel bad about not being able to do my quests this weekend (I'm away for the weekend celebrating my 2 year wedding anniversary).

I understand the participation and love that everyone has a chance at getting a prize. However I'd love to also have prize tiers based on number of quests done in these things to satisfy those of us who love competition and working toward goals as well.

You don't. Everyone works as one big team. There aren't any separate teams for Quest-A-Thons. Just do as many quests as you can, and it will contribute to the target.:)
