I like the new kumos, mostly, but it could be a bit darker? It would look more, darkmattery. And a little thinner legs and stuff, but apart from that i quite like it! If it was more black than grey...And i dont really like the fester much anyways. But, overall, good job!

The kumos revamp looks too bulky. The forelegs are too big-boned looking (whether because of the shading or actual drawing, I'm not sure), the neck/chest area make it look fat (the neck is short and the chest is too round), and the head is too round (there should be some sharper edges in the muzzle and cheek area).
I was planning on getting one. Now? Definitely a no.
I like the Kumos. It's rather regal and mysterious. [:
Alright, first: I liked the old Kumos better.
Second: I ALMOST like the new one better. Almost. It's amazing art and detail, but there's one thing that's putting me off. The body is practically perfect, but the thing I don't like is the head. It seems too small for the body---that's what makes it look 'fat', when in reality it isn't at all. See, if you don't look at the head, and just the body, it looks perfect, just as slim and graceful as the old one. So I say, GREAT job on the revamp... just work on proportions a little more. 
As for the Fester... never really liked them, but I agree---SEVERELY NEEEDED REVAMP. D8 And it looks awesome~
Cool! more new art! the fester is amazing though the bird anatomy seems off but it works and the kumos looks more bulky and wolfy than the slim elegant old one but I think its adorable :}

._. The kumos's face just irks me. It looks sad, confused and like it's face is swollen from getting teeth pulled. I swear everything else is freakin' fantastic, just.. it's face looks swollen.
Wow, the new fester is awesome! The new DM kumos looks great in terms of the body, I love the shading too. Great job with the art! I do however have to say that the kumos seems to have lost its menacing feel 
Lol, I had to do a double take when I saw my DM Kumos. I thought it was a completely different species when I first glanced at him. That's what I get for not paying attention to the news. Anyway, it's a nice revamp, though I think some of it's menace has poofed. I'd prefer if, instead of the head being tilted, it looked straight ahead as if challenging the person looking at it. I love the body, now that it actually has a three dimensional body.
I'm not big on the fester species in general, but the revamp looks good. I love the glare in its eyes. <3

The colouring and shading for the new darkmatter kumos look awesome, but still do prefer the old one :I I'm not sure, I guess it's the way it now seems to be facing down, while it was originally kind of facing upwards.
The new one isn't fat, but I liked it better when it was skinny, haha. But I truly love the dark matters around it now (:
I can always just put an overlay on mine if I like the old one better, but great work, guys! ^^
Oh, and I like the fester, too. I'm not that into birds so I can't say anything, but I like its pose and expression

To Rabbit: ILU. I thought I was the only animal freak out there. XD And the new Kumos looks pretty good- I see that you guys listened to the comments on the Darkmatter Kumos forum. XDD
As a bird owner I would have to say this is a more saddening display of bird anatomy... The wing feathers have no definition as to primary/secondary feathers, and the entire left wing looks bulky and oddly placed, especially the shoulder area... The head looks as though it was colored independently of the body and placed on there, and the feet... well, I couldnt even find the left one until a friend pointed it out for me. ._.
I ADORE the Kumos, though! A wonderful transition from the old art form into the new! It was even made a little more elegant to keep some of the traits of the old that everyone loved... <3 I do like the care put into it, especially the now realistic neck. Bravo!

Yeah, the Fester's body is very dark. I bet it would be much improved if the feet were the shade of grey as the neck. O: Not trying to be rude of course. Just that you can barely see those pretty feetsies.

Arbor for not maiming the Kumos - while I do not have one, I always thought an exceptionally attractive pet/color.
The Fester, on the other hand, is... just - well IF you were going for the Billy Idol look, I guess you got it, but the body is SO dark, there's hardly any shading. I am not impressed at all.
Aahhh! The Fester is AMAZING! The wings are excellent, the crest is realistically sharp and spiky, the pose is amazing, and the individual feathers and shading are all pretty darned anatomically correct. Great job artists, it's beautiful! Now I'm tempted to get one... that is, if I could afford it.
And the Kumos... I'm not a big Kumos person, but personally I think it looks great :0 Dunno what all the fuss is about. The new and old poses definitely have their own distinct positives and negatives, but I think the new one is more streamlined and fits the style wonderfully.
I'm really happy for you, i'mma let you finish, but cadogre had the best revamp of all time. OF ALL TIME.

Although I did prefer the older version of the DM Kumos because of the unique feeling it offered, the new one holds it's own, being a more firm, masculine version. All I'd say against it is that the neck is a little thick, but that's often the case in larger dogs, so it does look rather natural. Very nice. The fester really needed a revamp. chuckle As a person who generally doesn't like the fester (becaue I'm not a bird person), the art is well done. It looks as though the artist put a lot of thought into it.

Man..I was hoping that you wouldn't change the kumos! Many people voted against it as well...now I am going to have to change my pet. I don't like it. It doesn't look girly enough! The old one was way better. I'm not dissing the art..it is lovely..its just not my original char.
