I don't know why people are complaining about the revamped DM Kumos, honestly. It looks a lot better now, and at least the pose was retained more or less.
I love the text accompanying this news post, as well as how sad the Kumos looks at being dissed by kanye the fester. (does strikeout work?

I liked how skinny it looked. It was unique.
Anyways, the art for the new one is very nice. That's the only thing that I didn't like about the old one - the fur looked so plain.
...I wanted to have diversity in my pets and not have more than one of the same species. That might be out the window now. lusts after new Kumos
Dude, the old Kumos was pretty much anorexic. Of course this one is going to look fat. It is not.

And there is a REASON why it was revamped.
The weight of the old Kumos was NON CONSISTENT with other Kumos.
I could have blown on it and it would have dipped over.
Everyone who misses the old skinnier darkmatter kumos may use this one as an overlay, courtesy of 
DNA. It's so thin, you can read a book through it!

The Kumos isn't fat, it's healthy. I loved the sleekness of the old design, too, but I can't deny that this Kumos looks much more natural, which I greatly appreciate.
The details on the Fester are kind of hard to see, but I think that's more to do with my laptop screen than anything else.
Fantastically done, as always. Major kudos.

Anyway I ABSOLTELY LOVE THE KUMOS ;___; I was a little nervous about this revamp, but I think the artist did a wonderful, wonderful job staying true to the old art but also updating it. While the more 'lean' kumos looked cool, I'm glad this one is a little more filled out and strong looking (:

I liked how lean the old one was and how fierce its face looked. This one is just.. heavy set with a stupid expression. :C The art's really nice and all, but it's lost all of the aspects of the darkmatter kumos that I liked. :C
Well I don't know. I still think I like the old DM Kumos better, lookin' all sinister and stuff. The new version definitely has better art and anatomy, yes, but it's just... not as interesting. I'm no fester person either, but at least some people are happy with this.
