The Kumos's ears are SO nice! I just wish the head was tilted a little further to the left (like the old one) but other than that I actually really like the revamp. Plus a good chuckle at the Kanye reference.

I miss the old Kumos, a lot. 
Funny, looks like the broken neck was kept on the Kumos and the head was tilted to make it look more natural (I don't have a picture of the old one, so I can't say for sure). I think that is what has taken away the regal aspect that the old one had.
It looks good otherwise, but it really would have been better just to give the poor dog a neck brace and then release him when it healed. 
Fester looks good, not sure I understand the reference, though.

Anyway, about the pets. The Fester looks fantastic, but I've gotta admit I'm a TAD bit disappointed in the Kumos revamp. I mean, I like it, but I don't..I guess it will just take some time to get used to.

Kumos looks like it has the exact same personality to me. Very pretty. The fester is a definite improvement, as well! Love the little feet.
I like this Kumos revamp better because the neck on the previous one looked... broken... to me...
Screw the whiners, the new version looks like its been fed and is doing well. Pose is the same and its more along the lines of how the species is as a whole. GOOD JOB
If you can't take it, go get an overlay...not hard.

Im happy for you, imma let you finish, but the old darkmatter kumos was one of the BEST DARKMATTER PETS OF ALL TIME. OF ALL TIME. Seriously though, I'm not really happy with this. :c I love the darkmatter around the kumos and the shading, and the art is a lot nicer, but I painted my very first pet, curse, darkmatter because I loved the slenderness and the dismal look on it's face. now it just looks...like a dog. I guess. I mean the anatomy is more accurate, I guess, but i really did like the petite figure of the last kumos. Same with the reborn. good job on the art though.
pleassseeee dont let these be the last darkmatter revamps. i will be so sad. i was really lookin forward to the irion ):

I was so excited about the darkmatter revamps because I had a darkmatter Kumos but unfortunately I dont like the new one... :/ It looks a bit fat and its head seems off. I know that only common revamps get polled but I wish there was one for the Kumos. I dont really want to own one now.
The new kumos looks sad... I prefer the old evil kumos.
Regardless of anyone's personal feelings in terms of the Kumos (it's not skinny enough, it doesn't suit my pet anymore, etc)... it really DOES look much more consistent alongside the other Kumos. And that's what matters. Why would we have one random thin Kumos if the others are all stockier? =|
I wish people would start looking at, you know, real canines instead of the ultra-stylized (and often ultra-skinny) wolves and sparkledogs a lot of artists are into these days. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love that sort of artwork (and do some of it myself) but you've got to admit that the anatomy's hardly accurate most of the time... pfft whatever maybe I'm just a complaining complainer :B

I really liked the old darkmatter Kumos a lot better. The old one looked like it was more high in athourity and such. This one just looks like another fluffy puppy.... I really liked the old version better, that's why I paid so much money for the potion to make her a darkmatter, cause I loved the personality in teh style. Sorry, but I do like the fester revamp.^^

uhhh... i am totally not getting what everyone is laughing about squint e-e I am sorry but i liked the old kumos better, he had more personality and looked more regal with his head raised up and tall legs. And the fester is an improvement, i like the new look of him, but i can always use an overlay if i get the kumos =) Overall good job keeping the same pose, that is the good thing about him

The eyes of the kumos look a little off to me, but the pose is still great looking. Just the face, and maybe the legs need to be repositioned. Might grow on me yet...

The new Kumos is alright, but I liked to old one Its legs kinda look uneven, and its front is fatter than its end. OMG Just like my chihuahua!!!!!

Wow. It's funny how people are being so ungrateful over this whole Kumos thing. Artists work very hard on these revamps and its being trashed as if a three year old drew it. So very sorry that the revamp actually looks like a Kumos now, and looks like it should. So very sorry.
