Yeah, I have nothing left except for the hormone producing parts. Had to have surgery in 2024 due to health issues with my reproductive system( fibroids) and ob suggested getting rid of them all( I still have the ovies) since I had never wanted kids. Recovery sucked though, I was actively recovering for most of 2024/2025 so, yeah. My parents were very much, daughters in the family should have children except I'd never wanted children, except for fur children, and then my body just decided for itself it didn't want kids anyway.

"the cat who" series, it seems familiar, but middle school was when I was into stuff like Redwall or teen series like Sweet Valley Middle/High. I was also into Dragonriders of Pern and Mercedes Lackey books for a while in late middle school. Oh, I'm definitely creaky. As an aside, I do have videos of her being taught tricks because she's an adorable little void princess, XD.

also, just realized I was actually 20 when I first became a mini-mod, 2007 at 22 was when I was added to the UA team.

Gretel is also harness trained and a couple months back I started teaching her to do tricks so she knows sit and up( beg) now.

I had allergy shots when I was a kid( 12-13 or so), but all my allergies were to plants, somewhere around a 100 or so odd allergies, all plants. I've been re-tested in adulthood and now the only one I have supposedly is dust. I've considered having another cat in the future, but Gretel is very much a solo cat, hides from my aunt and uncle's cats when they cat-sit her at their house, hides from people sometimes by hiding under beds, etc...etc.. XD.

In any case, I've never wanted children and can't have children anymore so my parents' grandchild is Gretel, haha. Gretel was a shelter adoption( previous owner surrendered her prior to my adopting her in summer of 2023). Shelter name was Midnight, changed it to Gretel after I adopted her. She turned 4 in February( was about 1 and a half or so when I adopted her). And yeah, me stepping down was time, 22 to 40, man I feel old.

Ah, lurking, always a good tactic. I stepped down as a mini-mod at the end of 2024, so now I'm just a regular user. Also, adopted a kitty in 2023, (her name is Gretel and she's a void, she turned 4 in February). She's currently sleeping on one of her cat trees at the moment.
