Oh my goodness, I just have to die now. The kumos is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen, and now my Darklore is STUNNING. 
It's lost some of its gentle grace, but gained the ominous quality that goes with all the DM pets. Great job, I've been waiting on this FOREVER.

Lovely. I am indeed pleased with the Kumos revamp. I, for one, think it turned out wonderfully. Hooray anatomies.
Also, the old Kumos isn't very hard to overlay, luckily, for those who liked it better that way.
I have had a DM Kumos for years, and honestly, I'm going to have to change it now. ): You did a wonderful job on the art, but I'm afraid that (in my opinion so please don't trash me, this /is/ an opinion) it's lost that great quality it had. Sure, the art matches more, but it's still lost so much of the previous feel that I'm rather disappointed. It was my favorite pet look and one of the first I ever colored on here, and now I can't keep it.
I was excited, until I realized that the old kumos is up there and I had to go searching for the new one. Good job, but eh, the DM Kumos is no longer my favorite pet.

Kumos revamp is love. The Fester really needed a revamp as well. In fact, I was pointing it out to my sis who doesn't even play subeta and she agreed with me. XD

And the people that acre complaining REALLY need to learn about canine anatomy. e-e They sort of... have ribs and internal organs. This guy's actually on the lean side for a canine-like animal that is not a member of the sight hounds, (Aka Greyhound).<br>
Kumoses were NEVER skinny before, and I'm glad to see that the darkmatter one is no longer a ribless, anorexic dog-thing.
I absolutely love how people are getting their panties up in a wad about all this - first with demanding a revamp for the DM Kumos, and now because it's not GOOD ENOUGH? People, the artists work hard on these pets just so you can have something pretty to look at, and you wait for them and make demands to see them, and what do you do once they ARE given? You throw them back in their faces. LEARN TO STOP BEING BRATTY LITTLE SNOBS AND BE GRATEFUL FOR WHAT YOU'RE GIVEN.
This is ridiculous. Everyone knew the Kumos would be revamped at some point, and like Luxe said, if you don't like the new art, overlay it, for god's sake, and stop putting down the artists who drew these pets. You're being immature ingrates.
On my own behalf, kudos to the artists for both. 
The Kumos looks just like its old self, with some weight added on. Now it looks realistic! And although I've never been a huge fan of the Fester as a species, I considered for a moment the possibility of getting a DM one. They're gorgeous.

In other news, I like both updates very much.
I literally had no intention of posting that yet (glares at my cat for bumping me) The fester... is just.. wow... i dunt really know what other words there are for it.. the festers have needed work for such a long time... for quite a while they had some of the worst art... but slowly but surely they've gotten the attention they deserve (especially this and the graveyard being MASSIVE upgrades).. i kinda feel bad they arent a more popular pet in general.. ive always kinda liked em but there just arent enough pet slots here .. lol
wonderful work artists.. on all the new and redone DM pets.... cant wait to see what Oct brings!
I, for one, am VERY pleased with the kumos.. the artist was able to keep the lithe look while still adapting it to be the same speices as the other newer kumos art.. wonderful job! It keeps everything i loved about the old, but the much better art and consistency of the new! I want it more now then ever before.. and ive wanted a DM kumos since i started here
I personally prefer the old dm Kumos. It had a more agile-looking body and the colours were darker. Oh well, overlays ftw. Fester came out well, though. I was a very much needed revamp. The artist did a great job

The Fester looks awesome, but its feet seem to be a little dark for me.
Well my Monitor might be a bit to dark, so I cant really tell.
Its pose and mohawk is awesome though
The new DM kumos is alright, it does fit the other kumos on the site better. I like the old one because it was slimmer and lankier, then again I like sight hounds and that's more of what the old one reminded me of.
Also I know Im probably going to get bitched out, but that emaciated kumos drawn in reply is just fucking immature. People can have their opinions and they don't have to like new redraws and give the artists a pat on the back every time. Grow up.

While I liked the old DM Kumos, I LOVE this revamp! (It actually LOOKS like a kumos now xD) The artist has done a great job in retaining the original feel.

Wow man, talk about one GIANT improvement on both specimens this time! You artists did a fantastic job. I agree, the fester really did need an update, good night! And the Kumos' anatomy is so much better than the older one. I'm not a fan of either pet, but I really like both of them here! Again, kudos to the artists! You all rock!

The body on the new kumos is amazing, though its a tad stalky for my tastes. This is biased of me though, as I absolutely adored the old one and didn't want it revamped. X3
Still though, the body is just amazing, gives a more muscular, powerful look. My only issue is the head. The neck looks too short... or maybe the head is squashed/deflated a bit. Could simply be the angle of course. But that's the only bit really bothering me. Overall the art is just amazing.
And I love the fester's expression. :3

I love the new Kumos. The fur and the body proportions look awesome. I do miss the eyes of the other one though. They made it look so much more sinister and that's why I was going to color my pet that.
I like the new Kumos, though the old one had a considerable bit more of that diabolism that is essential for a DM pet. And though i don't feel the old Kumos was done wrong by being distorted in form, the new shape doesn't not make sense either. Well done!

Anyone who says it's fat- The old one was ANOREXIC, it had CHOPSTICKS for legs and it's fur was WAY too plain, the new one is a great improvement.

But i think his chest looks a bit too.. wide/muscular for his legs.. Or the legs too thin for his chest.. Maybe cause of the neck and chestfur? scratcheshead However, its absolutely lovely! =3
Both of the revamps are absolutely stunning. The Kumos has been entirely updated, whilst still in-keeping with its original character. Much better body proportions also. Keep it up, artist(s).
