I always thought he was doing the "XD" Expression not crossbones.And the frilly clothe on the chest?The new ghostly looks more like a pirate ghost to me.

WOW this is nice. I'm really loving the new and awesome shading. And WTF how could you people not have noticed the skull and crossbones or the x on the previous version? Seriously. I really like this revamp just because it closely resembles the original but it's still much better. Beautiful job to whoever drew it.

I really don't like that odd white thing on its chest. I do get the strong desire to tear it off the Ghostly.

I love this one so much better. The shading is so much more defined, in a sketchy? way. And it definently looks way more creepy and haunting like. The fingers are amazing, and I love how you defined the skull and crossbones on the head. The only thing i have a problem with, is that it looks like it is standing. And not floating. I donno, just like making it more floaty? That's hard to explain..

Hmm... yeah, I like the XD expression on the old one too. It made him look like he was laughing insanely, which I found cute. lol I like this one, but the old one I still like even more, due to the fact that its unique XD expression and its teasing position that I find to be quite fond of.

I like everything about the revamp except the skull and crossbones. The whole time Ive been on subeta I thought he was doing the "XD" expression. So he rawked. Now....its just a big blob with no face with a pirate sign on his head. Like the kraken found him O_O

Nice revamp! The only thing I don't like is the 'jabot.' Not arguing about it, but I'm just simply commenting that. It's not like I'd make a big episode about it lol. Anyways, very nice, good job to the artists!

I really agree that the ghostly does, in fact, need a revamp. I also think that the proposed revamp needs a revamp. It is better than the old by far, and I do like it for the most part. There are just a few things that could be changed to make the ghostly absolutely perfect.

As a ghostly owner myself, I can see this possibly turning out to be the most perfect revamp yet. To the artist, It is pretty good as is, I like it. In my opinion, and that of a ghostly owner, it has so much potential! Take a bit of a look at the graveyard ghostly, especially in the neck area. Graveyard ghostly pets are the most popular ghostly I think. They are by far the best ghostly, and I think a lot of it's elements in body would be perfect for the revamp of the ghostly pet as a whole. Wow, I just noticed that I wrote a lot. I hope my critique is read at least, as this revamp means a lot to me.

I agree with angelembryo's post about the jabot.. thing. It's gonna look freakin' odd on the chibi version if revamped. =/

on the old Ghostly i thought the jabot was a beard! so this one to me clearly looks more 'jabot' like.

this is a nice revamp, it's not perfect, but i think it's hands down better then the last few we've seen.

i think the skull on it's head should be a little smaller so it's clearly seen as a skull. and it is a little bottom heavy for me... perhaps if it was all flowing to one side like the old version.

Unlike a lot of revamps lately, the ghostly isn't such a huge change at all. Same pose. Better shading, more definition on the head symbol, but otherwise unfudded with. More revamps should take this route instead of jumping on the complete overhaul train.

I do like this revamp, but I have a critique to add to my earlier post. The Ghostly looks a bit too... happy to me. I dunno, it's odd. It doesn't have the 'ghost' feel to it for me?

One suggestion I have regarding the 'jabot' on the ghostly. Take a look at the graveyard ghostly's neck area. I LOVE how it is done in the graveyard color... It looks like the 'jabot' is actually a collar, or that the head was tied on in a way (somewhat like a lollipop ghost that people make around halloween). I personally prefer that to the 'jabot'... the jabot looks a little off, though I can see it being used as it's used in the galactic. =/

It was a real hard decision... seeing as the new one, is honestly shaded better and well-drawn, but the old one seems to have the smoothness and fluidity that all pets should have. (Unlike the newest Terracoon which was much of a disappointment) I agree change the pose slightly and it would be perfect. I think the ghostly needed a revamp but I think the revamp would need a revamp.

...Not a jabot, not a cravat, not a scarf. Not neckbone either, but that's closer than any of the above. The Graveyard and Chibi, and even the Dark Matter versions show clearly that it's meant to be part of the head piece, where it attaches to the body. Even if it was a jabot (which it's not), it should look tattered like the rest of the Ghostly; as it is now, it doesn't fit. Either way, turning it into a crisp, new-looking jabot completely changes its character from a simple, timeless ghost to a kid that couldn't decide whether to be a ghost or a pirate for Halloween. I apologize for being repetitive, but the misunderstanding is obviously still floating about and many of the older comments correcting it have been pushed off.

eep, this was hard. I don't really like Ghostly's, though, so I won't really care. X3 The old one seemed mroe carefree and, well, I liked it mroe, but this is a definate improvement. Change the pose a bit and its fine. :3 I votewd for new.

Ivoted for this one, but the skull on its head looks too big and cartoony compared to the rest of the pet, with the more realistic shading... Although on the old ghostly I couldn't even tell it was meant to be a skull and crossbones, so that's a definite improvement! To be honest, ghostly's are never going to be my favourite pet, so I'm not too fussed about the remake. But I think it's been done pretty well.

Hmm... this was hard, but its the first time I've had to choose the old ghostly. I mean yes, the art of this new one is much better but... I like the face and simplicity of the old one better O3O It just seems a little over the top with this one -shrugs- Awsome job none the less though

Old one fo' sho'. Sometimes you just need a simply drawn pet. Ghosts don't have much to them either, especially not extraordinary shading and such. I really don't like the newer version at all. Much too fussy and Show-offy for the little prankster Ghostly I know and love. Leave the Ghostly alone and work on a different pet. D=

I like the old one better because it reminds me of casper only semi brown with no eyes. Regardless the old one is cuter.

I'm not a fan of this spices, but thats just my personal preferance but looking at this one and the older one there is clearly a big improvment. Much more detail, colour and shading, the colours have been nicley restored and I like the pose, it looks very mischeviouse and ebil XD. Nice job on the revamp I like :3.
