- now that you mention it, I don't know if they still do that. The last time we took him to do it has to have been a good 12 years ago. :O Now, I feel old. 😆

- that's quite possible as my imagination was raised on Bugs Bunny and the like. lol 😂 The stress comes with the territory. It's passed and I'm much better now. :D <3

- I never got that far. Hubby picked a fight with me that lasted a good hour and then , as it was ending he admitted he'd picked it to snap me out of the downward spiral I was in. He then bought me an audio book I'd been wanting for a while and I lost myself in that. The book is called "Swan Song" and is a Judeo-Christian distopian nuclear apocolypse horror drama similar to Stephen King's The Stand.So far it's not bad at all. :D

I'm thinking usually your cold weather (day or two) is in January so that is unusual. And I hope it snows for you! :-) This morning when I went to pick Liz up from work it was raining a little and I went in to get her and it was still raining. I stood and talked to her coworker for 5 minutes or so and when I came out everything was white. 😳 It was a bit nerve wrecking driving but in a few miles there was no snow and only rain again. Whew!

I'm sorry your GF has been sick but hopefully she feels well for Christmas. Things are going well! Life always likes to throw curve balls but that's expected and I feel lucky we've had nothing majorly negative!! And I can't think of anything that bad really. We had our windows replaced over the last few months and that's all done so Yayyyyy!!

Dang girl! Stay warm! We're getting it on Thursday but only supposed to be -5 C here. My hubs says we're getting hit with a Siberian Express. Probably the same storm system you have today. ugh

Thank you! She's starting to feel better, thankfully. If she's sick on the holiday, we'll probably celebrate another day together. That's good! The new windows will probably help with keeping the house warm. I remember as a kid, my grandmother would put plastic over her windows every winter and I would help. But I didn't know other families who did it, haha. Good windows/insulated windows make a big difference. It's been an up and down year as a whole, but the last few months have been good though. I'm looking forward to the Winter Solstice tomorrow and then the days getting longer little by little again.

LOL! OMG! :-P But then starting Monday we're going to be around 11 C for at least a week. 👏

But don't you celebrate every day when you're with a person you love? :-) Seriously though I hope she's better before Christmas!! We had plastic (black garbage bags) up to a few of ours, but mostly cause we need new shades. But I had to wait until we got the windows done before I can get shades. Plus, all of the window shade places around here are short staffed. Go figure. Our new windows are supposed to keep the house warmer but it's so cold here I can't see a difference yet. Yes to the days getting longer!! :-)

I hope it ends up good either way. Presents doesn't always make Christmas <3

Yeah, our cold weather really doesn't hit until January - March. We are getting a little mixture right now, but it's too warm to stick, sadly. Oh no! That snow happened quickly :O

yes the cross stitch is a gift. Its like 29 inches by 19 inches, the size of a telly and I didn't really think about how big that is LOL but I'm nearly done so I'm happy to have it nearly done. The funny thing is I have one for myself as well lmao. Definitely got my money's worth I suppose lmao No, I'm not making this cross stitch to sell though I might sell some completed ones at some point. The problem is I have to make sure it's a low cost to start with so I can charge something reasonable. :D I did make a mini tote bag the other day to sell on etsy. I haven't uploaded it yet though.

That's very true! I feel very lucky to have someone I love so much, and my days are always better with her. You have to make due with what you got. Our AC doesn't quite fit in the window correctly in the summer, so we have to board it up with carboard to secure it and it's a pain. I can't remember where you live in the world, but I can understand that! I think it's probably colder where you're at, for some reason than here. I'm in Pennsylvania. Our house is cold and drafty. We make sure to wear layers and slippers.

Do you know if there's anything special planned for 20 boards? It seems like a big achievement.

You're lucky to have him and I know he's creating such special memories for Hunter.

Oh yeah I remember being snowed in for 3 days in Atlanta. Then it was warm immediately again. Lol The real shit is hitting the fan on Thursday. Super super cold and another round of snow. Ugh! I wish I could send it to you. :-)

That's great you have found your person and realize it. :-) My AC doesn't fit in my window well either. I have to use it all year round (hot flashes) so my hubs bought a piece of plexiglass and cut it to fit the gap. It's really hard to cut and it took him several days of sawing and careful breaking so he wouldn't mess it up. Lol Plus, the price on a piece is ridiculous so he was afraid of messing it up. I'm near Seattle so we're not typically as cold as other northern places. ( The Puget Sound on one side and the Cascades on the other keep it a bit warmer but every 10 years or so we have a colder winter.) And I can't stand to throw money away on heat so we keep our heat on 68 in the winter so I'm usually wearing several layers too. :-D

That's great her skin is cleared up. Did the vet say what caused it? I keep thinking I'm going to get more AC time for decorating and it hasn't happened yet, but I have all of my (mostly that you've sent me) Christmas decor out and around. :-)

oh yeah I knew what it was. She has skin allergies to pollen but she also had an infection in some of the spots she scratched to blood. She got an injection to calm the allergies down Damn expensive shot too... lol. Glad I can help. I sent you some illuminated snowflakes this evening :D

Geez! Glad it's cleared up and hopefully stays cleared up. I've never had a dog that didn't cost me a fortune at some point... Ooooh! I can't wait see them! 👏 :-)
