- I know. The first encounter with a serious illness in yourself or a loved one immediately leaves you asking why? how? what do I/we do next? That's normal. The best thing you can do is to stop and breathe. Then, once you've consolidated your thoughts start your research. I've found the Mayo Clinic and Johns Hopkins sites invaluableresources. Once your mom knows exactly what's wrong it's good to educate yourself about it so you can help her. hugs :D s

Have you been having a good holiday season? My mom had to stay a few days because their heat was out at their house, which was nice to catch up with her but also a little stressful. I felt like a teenager again in a weird way, y'kow? :P

My holiday season has been nice. Seriously, not that different that my normal life. :-P Oh that would have been super stressful if my mom ended up staying with us. Glad you got through it! My mom was not an easy person to deal with so it probably would have ended in a fight. :-D

Happy holidays, lovely! The storm was bitter but the snow was minimal so it's okay. It's going to go from 0F a few days ago to like 50F in the next two days or so, so my migraines are UnHappy. How are you?

my describing abilities don't compare with some of the authors I have read. I truly wish they were. I do rp, yes. Well, the lamp is about as big as one and a half hard cover books. the shade is canvas navy. It was stitched in white in a pattern of 4 lines in a half circle stacked standing side by side, the second layer is in the middle of each hump so the over all effect is a wave like pattern. Each stich is about the length of one's pinkie finger with an 1/8 of an inch between so that no lines intersect.

Oh. No, I have a BENIGN tumor in my left auditory canal on the nerve--it's called a vestibular schwannoma, and affects hearing and balance (but not the migraines, because it's too dang small and new to have done so). It's something new to adjust to, is all!

Thank you. I'm still living life and mom is too the best she can. I know it was bound to happen. My mother is almost 70 and she's diabetic so she's used to her fair share of illness. It's hard because the last person in my family to have cancer was by grandpa who died from colon cancer :(

It's my mom and no she hasn't yet :( It's slow right now because of the weather out there as you are probably aware of. Since they live in Cle Elum they have to come over Snoqualmie pass and they weren't able to for a bit so I think mom is just waiting, but thank you for the hugs :) I'm trying to keep positive
