Haha, I agree with that! We usually watch food stuff around dinner time. We've been watching Rhett and Link do their food taste tests, if you're familiar with that. I have two episodes of Guillermo del toro's Cabinet of Curiosities I really enjoyed and I want my partner to see, but she has to be in the mood for scary stuff, y'know?

Aw, thank you! It took me a bit to figure out a New Years HA I liked. I was thinking of showing Amber the two episodes of Guillermo del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities I really liked. Have you seen the show? It's an anthology collection. It reminded me a little of Twilight Zone in the sense that del Toro introduced each show in the beginning and they each were separate stories.

I just Googled Guillermo del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities and it made me think of American Horror Stories and while i dont generally like horror for some reason I liked most of American Horror Stories. Thanks for telling me about it and I'm going to check it out tomorrow while on the elliptical. :-P And i used to love The Twilight Zone too. Have fun tonight and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!! :-)

Yeah its nice :) Especially since seeing how my hometown treated my parents...my mom never had friends when I was growing up after we moved from Renton...she now has the lady who rents from them and their neighbors :) I'm happy for her

why thank you. Yes he is my character and often done in an ha. His name is Sorn and he's a powerful sorcerer. :) He's self centred, sarcastic, a leach and chaotic so he's a lot of fun to Role Play.

I just realized, I used to always watch Twilight Zone marathons for New Years haha. So, watching Cabinet of Curiosities makes sense. I don't think overall it's TOO scary. Some are scarier than others, and some are bloodier than others. If you have a certain type of horror story you like, maybe choose which episodes based on that? I didn't like the first two episodes very much, but I absolutely loved the third one, but it's probably the bloodiest of them all. Sorry for rambling haha. I really liked the show and I really like the horror genre.

That sounds like an awesome character to role play! Chaotic characters are often my favorite. They're just so much fun and unpredictable. My girlfriend and I have a roleplay based on D&D.

- I like guillermo Del Toro. He made a movie I loved because it scared the poo out of me,"Pan's Labrynth." The monster with the eyes in it's hands haunted me for months. :D

- Good luck getting your license. We're in the process of getting my youngest his and it's a royal pain in the butt. Doesn't help that he has absolutely no interest in having it. We may just end up settling for a state photo id instead and let the battle over his learning to drive fade into the past. :D

- It sounds like you've got tendonitis. I'd treat it similarly to how you treated your feet when they acted up. Hopefully you won't have to go to a doc for it. fingers crossed :D <3

- Well, there was no real relationship to begin with. So, no harm done really. I'm content with the way things turned out because I got what I wanted. I found out my heritage, I found out my "real name", and I found out part of my medical history. The rest was just window dressing and since he turned out to be an asshole it's better that I learned early rather then when it was too late. ;) I am still keeping in contact with his sister so the whole endeavor wasn't completely wasted. I tell you what, though, it certainly made 2022 interesting. lol :D <3

I started watching CoC EP1 this morning and I'm liking it a lot. I'm not into typical horror but shows done well in most any genre works for me. Two others I really like were American Horror Story {although a few seasons didn't appeal to me) and not horror at all but Fargo was good and nice and quirky too.

I don't think any of them are TOO typical of horror stories. I used to watch AHS, but I think the last I watched was the one with the circus. I haven't seen Fargo, but I've heard good things!

I agree about anthologies. (I had to Google that but I guessed that's what you meant) And I quit watching AHS at the circus season too. It was really good until that season and then it seemed to be a mess. Fargo isn't horror but very quirky and dark. I have to have something really good to watch for when I'm on the elliptical. It's so boring and I hate it but a good show makes the time go faster. Lol :-P
