We look forward to all of your entries! <3
thanks so much for doing this!!!
My favorite Thanksgiving dish is party potatoes. They're those potatoes with the corn flakes on the top OMG i could eat those for every meal.
I don't eat meat, so turkey isn't really on the menu for me, but all the side dishes are my fave.
Friendly ping: come join!! :)
I'm not one for turkey, but I absolutely love homemade stuffing and homemade mash potatoes and gravy. Yep, the starchy foods. Gotta love em.
Thanks for the giveaway and Happy Turkey Day
I know you guys love to take part in giveaways and contests!
Oh fun! Go team nature :D I have to participate in this because fall is my favorite season and Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday!
My favorite Thanksgiving dish is mac and cheese. My mom makes THE BEST homemade mac and cheese and who doesn't love anything with yummy cheese?! We don't have many traditions, but I just love getting my family all together. We don't get to see each other often.
Come join!
Fall is my favorite season and this is a neat giveaway.
:)
Every year when Thanksgiving rolls around - I make the green bean casserole. Everyone loves it - but I'll let you in on a little secret... I hate it. Green bean casserole is the worst hahaha, but my family loves the way I make it. So I always bring my jalapeno popper dip as well. Its so yummy.
- come participate lovelies
- thanks for the ping!! :) - thanks for doing this!
-Come enter guys!
Favorite Thanksgiving dish: sweet yams with marshmallows <3 green bean casserole is a close second. Both are delish and remind me of the reason for Thanksgiving - time with family and to celebrate that the Pilgrims escaped religious persecution!

Thanks so much for hosting this contest. This is my favorite time of year and I have to say the food is one of the reasons. My absolute favorite though is homemade mashed potatoes and gravy. I eat more of them than anything else on Thanksgiving.
OMG I llloooooovvvvveeeeeeeee sweet potatoes!! We're going to try and keep it small this year but first thing we put on the menu was sweet potatoes! Mmmm delicious sweet carbs!
Soo... took my groups that I usually ping, so that tells me I really need to get out there and socialize more... but I'm really good at being annoyingly obnoxious so I should just ping specific people in my groups!!
Mostly because you're on right now.. and also you and Gerty are always the first to load when I use "@"
&
Because that's who pops in my head when I'm thinking about annoyingly obnoxiously pinging.

I must say my stuffing is pretty awesome!!! I also make a pretty mean gravy!!

Thanksgiving has always been my favorite as it isn't commercial and celebrates family. Sharing a feast with those you love enriches everything - yummies like chestnut stuffing (not in the bird), sweet potato hash (the day after) and the turkey plus numerous sides. Just being together after for a day or two renewing and enforcing the bond we all have with each other.
I loved Thanksgivings growing up because that was the holiday we had at my house. My mom had -- I kid you not -- a list with to-the-minute times to start everything so it'd all be done more or less together. And then there'd be twenty or so people and chairs packed into the kitchen, dining room, and even the living room and I /loved/ it. <3 I don't really have a favorite food for Thanksgiving. Not a huge fan of turkey, like mashed potatoes less as I've gotten older, and corn is better on the cob. Pie is okay, but I like fruit pies better, and cranberry sauce is just eh. shrug But I do love the meal, and getting together with friends or family to spend time iwth people you care about. <3
The way some people spell makes me wonder about their pronunciation. My CW shop, and my ping group
I don't celebrate thanksgiving but it sounds like the sort of thing I would enjoy :3 like seriously, good food is my happy place. A couple of years ago I was in Italy and my American friend was sad because she couldn't get home for Thanksgiving, so we had a mini celebration but it was mostly turkey sandwiches.
My favourite autumn tradition is going for walks in the evening, taking my dog out to all his favourite places and kicking up leaves for him to chase. Before the weather gets too cold, and the wind is still bearable, it's really pretty and peaceful where I live. I like the sound of leaves beneath my boots :3
Haha holiday traditions xD My family gathers every holiday and we have a party/food fest at my aunt's house. This is just a custom. But when I was 12, on Thanksgiving, my cousin Erin and I were sitting at the "kids" table, as we call it, and eating veggies. I pulled out a celery stick and before she could bring her carrot stick to her mouth, I crossed it with my celery stick and shouted "en garde!" This begun our annual celery/carrot stick duel. Only on thanksgiving, and only she and I do it. It's silly, but it reminds me that even though we've both grown up, we can still be silly kids.
As far as my pings go, I'll ping and and as a couple of people :)
I'm half British, half American so Thanksgiving is mostly just a meal for us. However, let me tell you the story I remember the best: My brother just married and my mother wanted the first Thanksgiving meal they had to be really special--she pulled out all the stops--the turkey, stuffing--everything. We've also added British foods-- Anyway, mum was making the pumpkin pies and was stressing because it was the day before and she'd made 4 pumpkin pies--only something was wrong when we tasted it--so mum went out and bought 4 more pie shells and made 4 more pies--only she forgot the sugar because she was so frazzled. So I went bought 4 more pie shells and this time I made the pies. They came out at 3am on Thanksgiving day morning. (total pies where 12 though only 4 were edible). Since then, I make the pumpkin pies every Weds before thanksgiving. On a side note, mum put her apple pie on the stove and in a random occurrence it didn't cool enough from the bottom and exploded when I was in the kitchen. Thankfully some how, it managed to miss me--the glass melted onto things it was that hot--so if they say cooling racks--use them seriously.
