I love food.
My favorite traditional Thanksgiving food (in my family) is Virginia Creamed Corn Casserole. Or "corn pudding." I took it to a work thing last year and about three people tried it, but that was cool because more leftovers for me! People hear corn and immediately go ew gross you put it in pudding?
But it's the best. It's like healthy custard.
Also we do crescent rolls and twice baked potatoes and the cranberry jelly the shape of the can (which I honestly hate but everyone else likes - I just love the can shape) and last year someone made a Paula Dean pumpkin pie that was AMAZING.

Thank you so much for holding this giveaway

My favourite Thanksgiving dish is actually a dessert haha! My brother has made this extremely delicious peanut-butter-oreo-cool whip dessert that my uncle calls "Peanut Butter Surprise" it's amazing! I always have to make sure I get at least one slice of it every year. We always try to save a piece for my other brother just in-case he makes it a bit too late and it's all gone. Here's a picture of what it looks like it's really really good and I definitely reccommend it to anyone who hasn't tried it! I looked it up and they call it peanut butter delight which is an awesome name for it lol

Thank you for the ping!

I'm going to go ahead and ping Check the first post guys, sorry if you were already pinged here!

thank you sooooo much for this giveaway!!

My favorite meal during thanksgiving is when my Sister has to hide the onions from me because she makes a mean green bean casserole and is the highlight dish of the night--even over mothers' extremely juicy turkey.

Last year we had a fried turkey and that was the most wonderful thing in the world, but my sister's casserole is my absolute favorite thing to eat.

I'd have to say that my favorite dish is the sweet potatoes we always make. To make sure they aren't healthy, we add brown sugar and marshmallows. This has to be one of the most popular 'meal' items made!

Our Thanksgiving family tradition is to get as many extended family and friends to come to our house where my daughter makes a huge Thanksgiving dinner - brined and roasted turkey, duck, dressing, sweet potato casserole, giblet gravy, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole and multiple baked goods including pumpkin pie, pumpkin cheesecake and pecan pie. I sometimes make pumpkin muffins for breakfast. It's a wonderful time to catch up with everyone and eat ourselves silly! I'm so thankful for all of my family and friends!

Life is short... Count your Blessings, Love your family and friends and lend a helping hand whenever you can!

Hey! Tell us about your favorite Thanksgiving dish and/or tradition. If you don’t celebrate Thanksgiving tell us about your favorite Fall activity

I love hanging out with my family. I lost a very close family member, so I do not know what we are doing this year. It is going to be rough. But, my favorite thing to do in fall is to open up the windows and let the cold air come in the house! It's dumb, but for a Floridian, it's awesome to have the first feeling of cold.

Well normally i start at 10 am with the turkey to stuff it and toss it into the oven by about noon.It takes me a while to get the stuffing just right.I make homemade chip dips for snacking on.I do up a few plates with crackers and cheese and another with olives and pickles.I make my own gravy from the turkey juices.I make up corn and mashed potatoes.I make an apple pie for dessert too. That's usually all ready by about 6pm to sit and eat.I make a coffee for everyone after supper, everyone is usually too stuffed to move LOL :) get over here :P

Thank you for doing this, I know I could use some cheering up right now...

It sounds kind of underwhelming but, homemade real mashed potatoes with lots of melty butter on top are my favorite part of Thanksgiving.

and thank you for the giveaway chance! This is my favorite time of the year, even if it gets hectic! Cooler weather and lots of holiday fun! Being an only child and with my son also an only child, we don't have a huge turkey day get together anymore...just my son, me, and my mom and step-dad. But we do eat well lol! Favorite food(s) would be between the homemade yeast rolls that I make and the dressing that my mom makes (and which I can never get right despite using the same recipe!). When my son was younger we traditionally got up and watched the Macy's parade on TV, but now he'd rather sleep lol. Hope you have a great holiday and thanks again for the giveaway.

We do not celebrate Thanksgiving where I live in Australia, but the best part of Autumn / Fall for me is walking in a park, shuffling my feet through the leaves that have fallen.

I'm from heart of Europe and Thanksgiving Day mean nothing here. So, I'll write about fall :333 My favourite time of year! I LOVE to go to woods and enjoy all those colors and photo them for my Instagram :D I'm enjoying collecting mushrooms, acorns, chestnuts, briers. And like to draw naturalist picks of what I collected.

So my grandmother started this year's ago. She would take shopped cauliflower heada and fry them. She'd always make it around this time of year and it is amazing. It's always better the second day and is really good in eggs. She ended up passing away this December past. But this dish always reminds me of fall and especially thanksgiving as it was the only time of the year she made it.

Thanks for doing this! ^_^

As I am Canadian we celebrated Thanksgiving last month. It's hard to choose a favorite dish because it's really about all the food together that makes my Thanksgiving. lol One thing that is a definite must though is my grandmother's dressing - not stuffing - that we could all make a meal on alone it is SO good. <3

I'm new to your giveaways, but I joined the ping group so I'm sure I'll be participating again! I love this theme- Autumn is my favourite season.

I'm British, so we don't celebrate Thanksgiving, though reading some of these posts, I wish I did! I've never had pumpkin pie, but it sounds amazing. My favourite autumn activity is honestly so simple: walking my dog. I live in the countryside, and it's so nice to just get out on those crisp, cold, sunny days. When we get home, we can shed some of the layers; the scarves, the coats, the boots. Then we tuck ourselves into blankets by the fire and watch movies! A perfect Autumn day to me.

since my Thanksgiving has already passed I would say my favourite dish is the homemade pumpkin pie. Although I do enjoy the bacon off the turkey and the stuffing, turkey, cranberry sauce, brussel sprouts, carrots and mashed potatoes as well as an avocado jellied salad. I do have one food I detest though for that meal.

Thank you for hosting this nifty giveaway! :)

My favorite Thanksgiving dishes (cause I have 2 I cannot choose between) are green bean casserole and pecan pie! This year, due to mine and my nephew's food allergies, I am going to attempt to make the green bean casserole with homemade cream of potato soup. And then because we eat gluten free for allergy reasons, my husband normally makes a gluten-free pecan pie with brown rice syrup instead of corn syrup and it is THE best! :)

My favorite tradition is going around the table and each person saying something they are thankful for about the person to their left, because it brings smiles to more faces when everyone is paid a compliment. :)

I don't know who to ping right now, perhaps I will go with and for now. :)

I'm Italian, so no Thanksgiving... but in fall my family has 1) my birthday; 2) the "Forty Hours", a celebration (originally a catholic one, but now we are all on the mundan side) which takes place in my little town the fourth sunday of october; 3) the day of St. Martin, which we call "the summer of St. Martin" because 11-12-13th november is always sunny and warmer than other days in november, and here is a tradition to eat roasted chestnuts and drink the new wine. So... an awesome season!

My favourite things is a particular cake we cook (in my town, but there are a lot of similar-but-not-the-same recipes all around north italy) ONLY for the Forty Hours, "Torta Paesana" (literally "Town Cake". And it's the best cake ever, made from a dough of dried bread soaked in milk, cocoa, chocolate, pine nuts, amarettos, raisins, and other hearty things. Not too fancy to see (it's like a dark brown brick, not fluffy, so "concrete") but it's paradise for me. Each family has its own recipe, a tradition from grandparents to children :) I learned it from my granpa, and every year I come back home to cook it with my parents. It is not "Fall" without it. ❤️

I'm British, so we don't celebrate Thanksgiving, but I do have a favourite autumn activity - walking through all the fallen leaves, and kicking them up in the air :D Only trouble is, it's England.... so we get a lot of rain, and the leaves then are all mushy & soggy o.O :P
