Hello :) Thank you for hosting this contest :) I don´t celebrate thanksgiving since i´m living in europe but i would love to someday. My favourite fall activity is to fly kite, i didn´t do it for a long time but it makes me still happy when i remember doing it when i was little with my father. I also love collecting colourful leaves and chestnuts they are just so pretty :)

Thanks so much.

Thanksgiving time for my family isn't just about Turkey dinner and football. We talk about our lives just to catch up. About things we would love to change and things we hope will be in our lives forever. We give thanks for the friends and family we have now and have had in the past as they all have been and will always be a part of our hearts. We give thanks for the little miracles in our lives. The small things are most important. Roofs over our heads, clothes on our bodies and good food in our bellies. We even give thanks for the trivial . Why not? We all have our quirks and some of us are full blown geeks and even though sometimes there is an argument because someone got Star Trek and Star Wars mixed up we always end up laughing in the end. This has always been my families tradition.

My little one is the one I am and Always will be the most grateful for. She is an inspiration to me and is the strongest person I know big or small. Granted she always does something to give me a heart attack almost every day , I am still thankful for the Grey hairs it causes.

Here is to friends near and far and even ones we haven't ever seen face to face. Here is to Long marriages and even short relationships as we still learn something from them and how strong we are ourselves as well as with that certain someone else. Here is to the future. May it bring even more small and large things to be Thankful for.

I don't do thanksgiving but how much I love a good roast is undeniable. I wish I could eat roast potatoes and stuffing every day :D

I suppose for favourite autumn activities, all the fireworks you get this time of year is nice (Diwali, Guy Fawkes). Helps me stay up to finish all my uni work xD

It's so nice for you to do these giveaways, thank you!

As I'm British, I naturally don't celebrate Thanksgivings. We do have Guy Fawkes Night instead, but I don't do much for that either (not very keen on fireworks!) What I generally do for autumn is that I love the pumpkin season so I make many recipes using pumpkin, most notably pumpkin soup as that's one of my favourite meals!

We actually don't have a lot of those worldwide traditions here in Brazil (Thanksgiving, Fall and Halloween basically don't exist here, even Christmas is a lot smaller), but we have some other traditions like Carnaval. But looking at leaves on the ground is so oddly pleasing... I always think about drawing with them, and I came across this artist, Andy Goldsworthy, who makes art with leaves, branches and nature. It's so awesome :O

In the UK we don't really celebrate Thanksgiving but I do love Halloween :D!

My partner and I don't have any children and there is noone in my family younger than me so we don't go trick or treating anymore but I absolutely love pumpkin carving :D!!!!!!!!

This is only my second time carving a pumpkin and I think I did pretty good haha! Mine is the bunny one on the right and my partner made the one on the left ❤️!

I don't really have a favorite Thanksgiving dish. It used to be green bean casserole as I had an aunt who would make a spectacular one. She hasn't made it in years though. So mostly I look forward to the mashed potatoes and stuffing (I know boring right!). My favorite dessert is Lemon Sponge Pie. It's a dessert my father in law makes that was passed down to him by his mother. It's light and fluffy and is great after all the dense foods eaten during the Thanksgiving meal. My favorite part of the morning of Thanksgiving is watching the parade and eating cinnamon buns with my kids. They are not as enthused with the Macy's Day Parade as I am, but it's the one day a year I have control of the tv in the morning on a non school day.

Being married with 2 kids, Thanksgiving takes on a whole new meaning we have 2-3 separate days of getting together depending how my family and my husband's family is dispersed. This year my husband's mother and her partner are staying with us for 10 days, so I'm going to try and have people come to us, but I haven't hammered out the details yet. If that works I will have upwards of 40 people coming and going from my house

Sure, I guess I'll take a gamble and join ^_^ Thank you guys for the ping!

Best dish I made on Thanksgiving (Canadian Thanksgiving) is probably roasted chicken with baked veggies. It's only my dad, brother and I in the house, so we don't need a whole turkey. We probably couldn't even finish half if we tried, lol. Chicken does nicely, and I love how it turns out~ So yummy c:

Thanks for the ping and you both for doing this!

I love fall but I live in the desert so it's still like 80 degrees here 😦 So I surround myself with fall decorations and pretend we have seasons here lol. My favorite Thanksgiving dish are the sweet potatoes, savory or sweet, just yum (yam?) XD! I am seriously considering making a sweet potato pie instead of pumpkin this year just to mix it up. And now I'm hungry.

I also make sure there are black olives. I love them, my cousin hates them. I used to put them on my fingers and chase him every year when we were young. I make sure to keep that tradition up!! :D

This is great. I think one of my favorite dishes is this new recipe we started making recently for green bean casserole. We use fresh french green beans, mushroom soup, fried onions.. it so so good! I hate canned green beans so its great that we have a casserole I love now.

This is very nice of you to do this giveaway!

My favorite Thanksgiving tradition is having a bunch of family and friends come together and eat and celebrate together. We have a ton of food (turkey, fried rice, stuffing, corn, mashed potatoes, green beans, and, my favorites, my mom's peach dessert and berry pie).

This is so sweet. I love Thanksgiving. I was born on November 27th so sometimes it falls on my birthday. My favorite dish would have to be the stuffing because I have a serious obsession with the stuff. My favorite fall memory would have to be going to Disney on Ice with my Dad for my birthday because we've gone every year since I can remember and even though I'm going to be 21 this year, I look forward to it.

Thanks for doing this. I joined the group!

My favorite thanksgiving "dish" is gravy. I'm a vegetarian so I make my own since everyone else wants meat gravy, but I found some simple recipes online that I keep going back to year after year. I usually keep making gravy for a week after Thanksgiving just to make sure I have enough to eat leftovers with.

I'm actually going to be celebrating my last Thanksgiving this year, and it's a bittersweet feeling. My fiancé is from Iceland, and they don't have Thanksgiving there. I'm hoping that I can convince his family that we should all get together for a "feast" and time together because, for me and my family, that's what Thanksgiving is: Time to be with your loved ones and enjoy each other. My family always made it a rule that we would keep religion and politics out of our meal since we have a rather large mix in the family, and it's only getting bigger. I have always loved that aspect of our family-- we may fight year round, but at least for Thanksgiving, we set it aside and act like a family.

My favorite dish that gets passed around is the broccoli and cheese that my dad and I have made since I was a little girl. It's one of those things that I don't make often, but it immediately comforts me and makes me remember being a little girl and feeling like I was REALLY doing something when I helped my dad make it.

What about you guys? :)

Thanks for doing this giveaway! We don't celebrate Thanksgiving here, and technically Fall isn't a season in my country either but I guess my favorite thing about the late year is it finally gets cold enough to wear scarves!

Scarves are my absolute favorite, and I have around 15 (i'd buy more but my parents keep stopping me lol) and I can't wear them the rest of the year because of the insane humidity. So when Fall rolls around, I can finally go and wear a scarf and some of my cold weather clothes!
