Turning off the Gramophone Gaia turned to everyone in the common room amplifying her voice for those in the dorms. She looked a slight mess... and was that glitter ALL over her?

"Hello fellow Claws! We are in midst of Holidays and our tower is nowhere near ready! I managed to scrounge up some boxes or decorations and ornaments. It would be great to get in the holiday spirit to decorate for a Holiday party! I know some of us are staying and it would be fun to make the tower extra festive!" Gaia tried to move but there was too much around her and almost fell. "Could someone take some of these? Also be careful the elves and polar bear like to get in the way when moving around!" Once free Gaia pointed at the floor where plenty of old boxes were stacked "we have these over here and those over there"

"We also have 4 Christmas trees coming. Three for the tower areas and the biggest one for our common room. I think we can all divide and conquer. If you have any questions feel free to ask! and Yes you can make your own enchantments to decorate but please be cautious of your surroundings and fellow students! It does seem in the past the color of choice for the holiday was blue!" Showing everyone the box closest to her.

"I also set up a gift wrapping table on that corner over there with everything you will need! We have some owls ready to go and deliver your packages on time. First come first serve on that, but there are some school owls still in the owlery we can use. We even have some regular muggle paper for those of you with muggle families! I will be wrapping gifts in a little while. If anyone else would like to donate their wrapping skills you are most welcome to do so." Gaia said pointing at the long table in the back of the common room.

Gaia remembered something and blurt it out before moving "Oh! Refreshments will be serve shortly!" Pointing at the empty table with cups and plates on the side. "Any other questions you can ask Beth, Char, or ." ( )

Turning on the Gramophone with Holiday music she sat on the floor to open boxes and take a look inside.

Hooray for decorating! Ethel ran into the common room with a whoop. "Alright lets deck some halls!" she cheered and began digging through the boxes of ornaments looking for a fancy one. "What kinda food will there be?" she asked as she opened the lid of a box.

"Sounds like a plan!" Ethel grabbed a sparkly, blue bauble from the box and held it up. "Hmmm, needs something," she muttered to herself. Then she pulled her wand out of her back pocket and performed a series of flicks and swirls with it and muttered "parva aquilae" At her words, a small silver eagle appeared in a shower of sparks inside of the bauble. "Perfect!"

() "Well that is impressive, Ethel!" Gaia beamed at her friend while balancing a few trays in the air. "We got a lot of delicious stuff here! Can you help me place them on the table? We got some awesome special juices! They are served individually in globes!"

"Thanks!" Ethel sent the ornament floating over to the tree with a swish and flick of her wand. Good ole 'wingardium leviosa'. Now that her hands were free, she could help set up the food! "Oooh, of course! I love helping out with food." Well mostly eating it, but whose quibbling details?

() Gaia stopped drinking her galactic juice to respond "I love food! We got some delicious cookies!"

"Ooooh pumpkin juice" she said by way of reply. Never get between Ethel and a bottle of pumpkin juice! She snagged one and popped the top off with a gleeful grin. She grabbed a gingerbread man to wash it down. "Say, we aren't going to have to take this all down after Christmas, are we?" she asked.

() Gaia rolled her eyes... "magic, Ethel, MAGIC" then started laughing.

"Just so long as we're clear." Ethel waggled her gingerbread man (now minus an arm and a leg) at Gaia in warning. "Worst part about Christmas is trying to get all of those lights off. I've only had to do it once but that was enough to last me!"

() "I am sure it won't be so bad! There are plenty of us to make it easy! Also magic" Gaia loved sassing her friend.

Elune made her way into the common room carrying a large stack of books. She hobbled toward the staircase, attempting to dodge someone's pet cat, who was chasing the enchanted polar bear toy around the room ().

"Crunch" She peered down and noticed a broken ornament on the floor. "Oops," she exclaimed. She ambled up the staircase and dropped her books on her bed before running downstairs.

"Gaia, Ethel!" she shrieked, giving them both hugs. She glanced greedily at the tray of food on the table. She grabbed a rudolph cookie and watched its nose glow red each time she took a bite.

[img align=left]http://i.imgur.com/zjrcte5.png[/img]Beth entered the common room carrying a plate of cookies and a tray filled with several mugs of eggnog and glasses of milk. "Would anybody like something to drink or eat?" she asked everyone in the common room.

She walked to a corner of the room and placed the plate and tray on an empty table. The table next to it was filled with more snacks and drinks.

Aderyn rushed into the common room after some time in the library. She'd lost track of time and was running late for the festivities. As she ran in, she made her way toward the stair case, calling out to those she passed.

"I'll be right back! I just need to change clothes and fetch the treats I ordered for us from Honeydukes!"

Thanks for joining us! I am getting some of that chai tea. It looks yummy!" As she grabbed her mug she started to work on a garland with little eagles that go around leaving a trail of blue and bronze smoke in spirals behind it.

Aderyn changed as quickly as she could, tossing on her favorite holiday leggings and a warm waffle-knit red shirt. She quickly bullied her unruly blonde locks into a braid and put on a pair of warm, fuzzy slippers. Grabbing her wand from her bag and the box she'd gotten from Honeydukes, she ran back down to the common room. Setting the box down, she untied the ribbon and pushed open its flaps. It was full of chocolate frogs, Bertie Botts every flavor beans, and all manner of other wizarding sweets. Leaving it on the table, she ran off to provide the snow had called for. Pointing her wand at the ceiling, having perfected the spell over the last couple of days, she called out the incantation.

"Creo nix!"

A brilliant shower of sparks shot from her wand and suddenly it looked like it was snowing inside. The snowflakes all disappeared before hitting the floor, but flurried merrily around them all as students moved about.

"How can I help decorate?" she asked .

Gaia clapped excitedly "Great job Aderyn! Thank you for the sweets!" Turning around she noticed Beth sitting "Why are you sitting down!?!?! This is all work and no play!" Gaia had to fight to keep a straight face, but failed and started laughing. "Actually it would be great if you could open all the ornament boxes. We really don't know everything we have."

"Thanks!"

Aderyn grinned and moved toward the boxes that Gaia had indicated to Beth (). Kneeling on the floor, she pulled a box toward herself and opened it up, beginning to look through its contents, finding multitudes of tinsel.

"I'll help with these boxes!"
