Adrien peered over into Aderyn's bowl to look at the shape. "If you squint a little bit, you can see little bumps on the vines, if it's a plant maybe those are buds?" He cocked his head to the sides, trying different points of view to see difference shapes.
Gaia waited for everyone to take a look and then took a deep breath she was still not used to having people know about her abilities. What if she got it wrong? Would her friends be mad at her? Shaking herself off she took a look at Aderyn's bowl. "It is interesting to see how much of your personality can be so present in something so small. It is a plant. It represents a caring and loving person. It is also closely tied to who you want to be and conflicts that might come in the future when new paths are forged before you. Vines can be a good or a bad thing. For you it is the need for new knowledge and finding your own path with your heart's desire." Gaia took another look at the shape on the bowl "There is a hidden talent or talents that are trying to express themselves, but are being stumped in their growth. In your path to healing and helping others remember to find joy and happiness for yourself. Meaning make time to enjoy life. It is not all about school!" Gaia giggled once done. Telling a Ravenclaw that life is more than just school work was a brave thing to say.

Aderyn listened intently as read her wax figure. She groaned inwardly at the last bit, knowing that her own personality combined with being a Ravenclaw really did predispose her to ignoring her own wants and needs in favor of her studies. She had lost count of the number of times she'd forgotten to eat while she was doing homework, or how many dates with friends she'd chosen to miss out on in favor of studying for an exam. Gaia was right - she had a lot of things to work on. On the same token, she knew that she really would find happiness in healing down the road.
"That's amazing! And it makes a lot of sense. Thank you!"
Adrien listened as Gaia told Aderyn what she saw, and chuckled about the 'not all about school' line. He could tell that Aderyn liked what she heard though, and was happy for her. "That's really cool how you can see that from the wax, Gaia." he looked over the bowl again. "I have to squint really hard to see the faint outline of the plant, but you can see it once it's described," he smiled sheepishly while rubbing the back of his head.

"The wax images will look different to everyone. For example a blob of wax can look like an owl to me but looks like a quaffle to someone else. It is all about perspective. Think of it this way when you look at the wax on the water close your eyes, take a deep breath, and then look at your shape. What you see in that moment is the shape to go with. If for some reason you see two different shapes then that can be interpreted too." Gaia beamed at her friends they seemed to be receptive of her. "Who is next?"
Aderyn agreed with Adrien ( ).
"That IS really cool! I wish I had your gift."
She smiled as Beth () spoke, too.
"I hope so! I'll be working hard, both to do well in classes and to have fun in my spare time! Who knows, if I get really adventurous, maybe I'll even try out for quidditch next term!"
"Yeah, Gaia. With your gift, Divination would be much more enjoyable," he laughed in agreement with Beth.
"Sure!" Adrien nodded at Beth when he heard her question, a few strands of hair falling into his eyes. Since he paid so close attention to what Beth told Aderyn, he knew what he had to do. He brushed the strands away and pulled one of the bowls a bit closer to him and reached down the table for a spoon. He placed a wax cube in the middle before holding the utensil over the candle, watching as the wax melted down to a liquid. From watching earlier, he knew he had to transfer it quickly, so he moved the spoon over his bowl smoothly and poured into the water waiting below, watching as the mass solidified. He looked up excitedly at Beth. "Are you able to see anything in mine?" He asked hopefully.
(( ))
"What do you mean more enjoyable? I LOVE that class!" Gaia giggled. "It is the best class. You know it rivals Herbology for favorite class." As Adrien's question Gaia responded "remember close your eyes and take a deep breath. The shape will be right there when you open your eyes."
Adrien laughed at Gaia's exclamation, and shook his head with a grin, "I'll agree with the Herbology, I'm always up for that, but I don't know about Divination." At Gaia's instruction, he nodded and closed his eyes. He brought in a deep breath, held it for a second, and slowly blew out, opening his eyes and glancing back down at his bowl. "Hmm... It kind of resembles a... a large bird of some sort. I don't know what for sure, but I can definitely see wings and I think that's a beak," he finished while pointing out the features he could see to Gaia.
Adrien looked up at Gaia, then back down to his bowl. "It does actually look a bit like one... if you look at the the opposite end of the wings, it looks like the long tail feathers" he looked back up at Gaia, eyes dancing with excitement. "What does it mean?"
Gaia beamed "The phoenix is a symbol of power, renewal, and strength. This year will be a year of change. Something that has been part of your past will be solved and left behind as you start a new chapter. It also represents transformation, creativity, and clarity which will come in handy once you begin your process of change." Gaia stopped and concentrated on the bowl. "This phoenix looks like it is flying that means changes have already begun for you. This summer will be one of fun and learning. It is the season of the phoenix and the sun will provide some clarity in what you truly want. You will also find balance between what you do creatively and your work."

OOC: Funny story. I almost said I saw a bird before you posted but I didn't want to tarnish your own thing!
Adrien listened with rapt attention as Gaia explained his wax to him. She was right; his life had already come to change in some ways and he was excited that more was to come, and for the better it seemed. His smile grew as Gaia continued talking; and was pleased with what had ultimately been presented in the bowl. "Thank you so much! I can't wait to see what changes await me, and hopefully that balance comes soon; that'd be helpful," he said with a laugh. "I wonder who's going to go next? It's fascinating hearing what you can see for everyone."
OOC: That's awesome! Maybe you are really a Seer, hmm. I looked out the window and a bird was the first thing I saw so I went with it.
() Gaia clapped in excitement. "I am having fun! Who is next?" ( )
OOC: I don't know about Seer, but I do read Runes and Cards ^^
"Sounds like you have an exciting year ahead of you," she told Adrien.
"I can go next." Beth volunteered.
She reached down the table for a spoon and placed a red wax cube on the spoon. She carefully held the spoon over the candle and watched as the wax melted. She poured the melted wax into the bowl of cold water, watching as the wax took a new form and quickly solidified.
"Hm..." Beth pondered.
"Any idea what it could be?"

() "Take a deep breath, close your eyes, and then what do you see?"
