Gaia smiled at her friend and then concentrated on the details of the wax. "It is said that elephants are omens of blessing and fortune over new projects. Luck and protection are yours this year. Whatever new project or ideas you have in mind they will have a great push with positivism and fortune. This also means that any obstacles that arise you will be able to go through them and/or overcome them. Keep in mind that in some places the elephant means longevity and happiness. When a stressful time begins to overwhelm you remember that some projects and goals are long term and you will need to find your center in order to overcome this type of stress. One thing to be aware of; elephants take care of their family and they are responsible for those around them. This can make your life become unbalanced if you do not pay attention to how much time you dedicate to motivate and push others to be their best. If you give everything to everyone what would be left for you?" Gaia got serious for moment "Make sure you take time to connect with people and understand your sensitivity. You are a leader and with that comes added responsibility." Gaia looked up at Beth "I think elephants are amazing creatures!"

Aderyn listened intently as read the wax for Beth ().

"If you find yourself getting overwhelmed, let us know! We're here for you. We won't let you burn yourself out - it's going to be a great year!"

Beth listened carefully as Gaia explained her wax's shape. "Thank you so much, ! Seems like this year will bring me great things. There will be a lot of self learning too. It's good to know my friends will be there for me."

Beth turn to Ethel () and and asked, "Who wants to go next?"

Ethel had been watching from the back with quiet interest as Gaia read the future in the wax. When Beth turned and asked who wanted to go next she raised her hand eagerly, now confident in the process. "I'll go!" She said.

"Great!Just drop the wax on the water bowl and we can go from there!" Gaia smiled at her best friend excited.

Beth moved one of the bowls of cold water closer to Ethel (). "We're ready when you're ready!"

Ethel gave both Gaia and Beth a grin and plucked up a wax cube and a spoon. She carefully placed the cube in the center of the spoon's bowl then held it over the candle. The flame did its work, and soon the wax was pooling around what remained of the cube. The moment the last tip of the cube vanished into the melted wax, Ethel tipped the spoon over and poured the stuff into the waiting bowl of water.

As the wax sunk to the bottom and began to curl and lighten she shut her eyes fast. No peeking until the final shape was ready! After a moment she cautiously opened one eye and looked down, then opened the other and stared seriously at the shape in the bowl. "Hmm, let's see. That bit's sorta like a tail, right?" She poked said bit with a forefinger. "Then those two knobs look like ears...and these things here look like legs." With that she straightened and nodded at Gaia. "It's a cat for sure!"

Knowing her friend Gaia laughed "I was hoping for a snake. Make things interesting!" () Gaia got serious and concentrated. "Nothing like a Celtic animal to spark my inner eye! Cats are guardians of the Otherworld, so that is saying something about your new year. Crafty, Clever, and good with secrets. Your year is shaping up to be one of mystery or in any case mischievousness." Gaia winked at Ethel "This also says a lot about your personality, like Aderyn, your reading is really tied up to who you are as a person; intelligent, clever, intuitive, and independent. There is going to be some change, but like a cat you will be able to adapt and be flexible. It would also be wise to visit your daily routines, it might be time to shake things a bit and create fresh change in your life. It is not wrong, but by creating change you might create new goals, and/or find better ways to do common day things. It is really important to find within the answers you are looking for. As a creative and intelligent person it could be easy for you to be sidetracked, but finding your inner voice might be the key to find your balance between creative and logic." Gaia smiled at her friend.

"Is there anyone else?" She asked the group. ( )

"I am sure Wade is very offended that my wax didn't look like him!" Ethel replied, then hushed as her friend told her fortune.

"Mystery and mischievousness? Sounds amazing!" Then she gave a moment's thought to the rest before nodding in agreement. "Never hurts to shake things up, I suppose. Plus maybe changing my routine will lead to all that mystery and mischievousness the wax promised!"

"Knowing you like I know you always brush your teeth at 6:15 am I think shaking things up won't be so bad... at least during weekends!" Gaia giggled-snort loudly. ()

"That's not me!" She gasped. "I'd never brush my teeth at such an unreasonable hour and wake everyone up." Her gaze darted back and forth nervously for a moment before she blurted out. "It's Wade that's doing it! He's got a lot of teeth after all."

Gaia snorted "My bed is next to yours... stop lying!" laughing Gaia high five her friend "It's all good, but at least do your morning routine at 8am on weekends at least!"

"I never! It was totally Wade." Growing up with half a dozen siblings had taught Ethel well how to offload blame on an unsuspecting patsy. She didn't leave Gaia hanging with the high-five though: that was just bad manners!

"Sounds like you're going to have a very interesting year," Beth told Ethel (). Beth turned to Gaia. ", I believe it's your turn to try doing the Bleigießen."

"It is not good luck to read my own wax. I can't read my future since I am not objective." ()

Elune laughed at Gaia's response to Ethel ()."Mischievous" definitely went along with Ethel's recent scheming of the house-prank. She was in awe of Gaia's reading abilities, finding that the feedback really matched her friends' temperaments.

"Maybe you could pour the wax into the bowl, and we could all try to interpret it for you?" Elune suggested, patting on the back. "Mind you, I'm not the most reliable person at predictions, but with help from everyone, I think we could come up with something," she smiled.

"Oh what a good idea!" Ethel gave Elune two enthusiastic thumbs up then cast her gaze around the assembled. "What do you say, guys? Think between the lot of us we can scrounge up a decent prediction for Gaia? We can all pitch in with what we think!"

Adrien listened to the idea being bounced between Ethel and Elune and nodded in agreement. After hearing of everyone's wax shapes and the year to come for everyone, no doubt Gaia would want to hear what was in store for her as well. "I'm sure we can think of something and give her a prediction. Let's do it!"
