"Wow! These are so pretty!" she said as she started taking out some of the ornaments.

( ) Adrien ran into the common room. In the library, he'd heard form other members that students were decorating the common room, so he hurried back as fast as he could. He never got the chance to decorate before and honestly, he needed a break from studying. Plus, he saw this as a way to make some new friends. He ran to his room to grab a silly reindeer hat and waved his wand over it muttering slightly. It's nose lit up red and after he shrugged off his cloak, returned to the common room. He took in the scene of treats and boxes everywhere and walked to grab a peppermint brownie, a big smile on his face. He looked up to the ceiling as a snowflake landed on his nose. "Whoa, who did that? That's amazing! Is there any way I can help, too?

"I really like your hat," she told Adrien ().

( ) "You are all doing a great job! We will be done in no time and then can relax by the fire!" Gaia was looking around at the progress. "We have gotten a lot done. Would you three like to decorate the common room tree? I got one of the professors and Miss Kain to put the lights on all the trees when they were delivered. Figured that is the hardest part to do!" Gaia took a sip from her tea and took a bite of her cookie then moved to the gifts table.

( ) "Thanks, Beth! I really like your antlers," Adrien said with a grin as he kneeled in front of some of the boxes to go through them. He found a few silver bird ornaments and placed them around the tree. "Hmm... it's missing something." He stared at the tree for a minute, before raising his wand and pointing it at the birds. "Animare," he whispered and watched as the ornaments began to fly in slow circles around the tree. Pleased with his charmwork, Adrien dodged the polar bear and went to go rummage through more boxes to find some garland for the fireplace and bookshelves.

"That was awesome!" Gaia raised her hand for a high five realizing Adrien walked away already.

Adrien ran to Gaia after realizing what happened. "I'm sorry!" He scratched the back of his head. "I guess I was just excited to decorate more, but thank you!" He high-fives the raised hand and smiles. "You guys have done really awesome in here," Adrien said, grabbing a bottle of pumpkin juice and sipping it as he looked around the room. "Do you need any help here with the gifts?"

"Hi there! I'm Aderyn. That's my snowflake charm. I can teach you some time, if you'd like!"

Aderyn pushed aside the box of tinsel and pulled another one over, opening it to find lots of green and silver colored ornaments.

"Oops, I think we got a Slytherin box by mistake!"

She pushed it aside and jumped to her feet at asked if they'd like to decorate the main tree.

"I'm in!"

She looked at Adrien and Beth (), letting her wings flutter out.

"Can I put the star on top?"

It wasn't often that she got to use her Fae qualities for much, but this she knew she could handle.

Beth grabbed a couple of ornaments and began placing them on the tree.

"Hi Aderyn! I'm Adrien, It's very nice to meet you! I'll take you up on that offer, that's a wicked display of magic right there," Adrien said with a big smile. He returned to his box and found the garland he was looking for and was pulling it out when Aderyn asked to put the star on top. He turned towards her, arms full of blue and silver, and excitedly answered her, "Of course!" He turned his attention back to the sea of garland in his arms, intertwined them, and began outlining the fireplace.

"Oh yes, I'm really glad exams are over," Elune dramatically exhaled. "I nearly broke down during Professor Makshi's test. My rat didn't want to transform into a mitten for anything." She grabbed a mug of chai tea and slowly sipped it. "How about you? Are you staying at school for the holidays or heading home?" she asked .

She watched Aderyn's incantation with glee and stuck out her tongue, trying to catch the enchanted snow. "Blek, this doesn't taste all that great," she muttered, laughing. She watched, impressed, as she noticed Aderyn stretch her wings. She had never met a faerie before. ()

She waved to Adrien and knelt beside Beth, sniffing her nose at the Slytherin box of baubles that lay open on the floor. She unwrapped a new box, which was filled with miniature Express ornaments that puffed different colored smoke from their smokestacks. (, )

Adrien waved to from his spot at the fireplace as he finished his garland. He walked over to the Slytherin box and bent down to look in it. "Should we go find out if Slytherin has one of our boxes, or should we just transfigure them to fit Ravenclaw?"

She walked to the table filled with drinks and grabbed herself a cup of eggnog. "Mmm..."

"Thank you! It's not a difficult spell, I'm sure you'll master it with no trouble."

She rifled through yet another box and came across the tree topper they'd been discussing moments before. Pulling it out, she made sure it was in good, working condition.

As commented on the taste of the snowflakes she'd conjured, Aderyn smiled sympathetically at her.

"I know they're not real snow, though I'm not sure what they're actually made of. Hopefully they don't upset your stomach!"

She laughed and circled around the tree, holding the tree topper in her hands, deciding on which orientation would be the best for it.

OOC: I'm sorry to hear you lost your job but glad you were able to get hired so quickly. Hopefully your calms down soon (maybe after the holiday frenzy). You're an amazing member of this House. It's a joy having you as a Housemate. 😊

( ) "Do you know how to wrap gifts? or know about muggle mail?" Gaia asked Adrien. Noticing the exchange between Beth and Aderyn she smiled, she loved when her friend showed her wings. "Maybe we should leave you at the top with those shimmering wings!" Gaia beamed at her friend while pulling her wand out to return the Slytherin decorations to the dungeons. Someone was bound to find them at some point.

Elune's words got Gaia's attention. "I am staying. I like Christmas at Hogwarts. Seems there will be plenty of us here to make it a fun party! Are you staying?"

Aderyn laughed at Gaia's suggestion.

"That would be all fun and games until I had to sleep... I don't think anyone would want a snoring half-Fae perched at the top!"

Walking over to the table with all the wrapping supplies for a moment with the tree topper still in her hands, she glanced at all the supplies.

"I know how to wrap gifts, but I'm still not overly familiar with muggle post."

"If you want once you are done with the tree topper I can teach you about postcards! I need to send some to my parents so they can send them to my family."

( ) Adrien laughed at the image of the half-Fae as the tree topper. "Yeah, but you'd have to admit, that'd make a funny picture." He stood up from his position and made his way to all the gift supplies, grabbing another peppermint brownie and bottle of pumpkin juice along the way. "I know how to wrap gifts, too, but I don't know too much about the muggle post. I'm sure we can figure it out, though." Adrien grinned at Gaia as he sat down at the wrapping table, staring thoughtfully at the supplies while he munched on his brownie.
