( ) "YOU GUYS!" Gaia hissed at her friends "Beth is back! Remember HEAD GIRL!" she added in a whisper then started giggling "Ethel that took a little bit, huh?" Throwing a fudge piece at her best friend. "You know we do have some studying tools in our room! I have them in my trunk! I stocked up during my visit to Diagon Alley. We could always recruit some of my Hufflepuff friends to help us study!" Gaia figured it was break time so she called Beth over "That looks amazing, Beth! You should come hang out with us by the fire! We can tackle gifts and postcards after."

Gaia fell silent for a few seconds and took in their hard work. Her friends have made their common room and tower such a special place. Then a POP grabbed her attention; looking to the table where the food was two house elves had shown up carrying a tray with sandwiches, cold cuts, cheese, fruits, veggies, and some sparkling grape juice. "Oh! Thank you so much Spinny and Waffy! You have done an amazing job at spoiling us! Would it be trouble if we could get a refill on the juices, water, hot chocolate, and tea?" The house elves bow their heads and snapped their fingers and everything was replenished. Gaia clapped in excitement "Thank you! We don't know what we would do without you!" The house elves managed to look embarrassed and smile at the same time. Another pop and they were gone. "Time for food!" Gaia walked over to grab a plate of food and some juice.

Aderyn giggled and made a motion like she was zipping her lips, winking back at Gaia. As the house elves brought sustenance, she walked over to the table and picked up a plate, loading it with a little bit of everything and pouring herself a cup of hot chocolate.

"This looks fantastic! I'm famished after all that decorating!"

"What!" she squawked, flailing in a panicked attempt to bat the fudge out of the way. "We're just talking about studying! Nice and Ravenclawish over here." She nodded with her best innocent-little-lamb expression on. She'd had lots of practice perfecting this one. Luckily the house elves showed up before she could break her face with her attempts at beatific smiling. Guile gave way to gleeful excitement. "Sandwiches!" She hollered and leaped out of her chair, vaulted over a footrest and performed two perfect (and completely unnecessary) somersaults to get to the food table.

"Did you say presents now?" She asked Gaia.

() "Oh I know!" gaia said popping an olive in her mouth. "We can't survive on sweets alone!"

() Gaia starred at her friend and then started laughing almost like a cackle followed by a snort. "That could have been so bad! I ordered some of your favorites. I even got a mushroom wrap for you! It must be somewhere around here."

"Nonsense, I am like a graceful gazelle," she wagged her hand in dismissal. Then she whisked out her wand. "Accio mushroom wrap!" Said wrap floated politely into her hungry grasp. "Yum!"

"Yeah, just trying to learn new things on my end," Adrien said to Gaia, looking as innocent as he could. He couldn't hold it long before covering his mouth with his hands to stifle a laugh.

His head whipped around with the house elves pop, knowing that sound often accompanied food. "Yes! Cookies are so good, but they only go so far, I'm starving," He went to the table and gathered up a few sandwiches and bits of fruit, then poured himself a glass of sparkling grape juice. "Thank you, Spinny and Waffy," Adrien said as he made his way back to his spot on the couch. As he ate, his eyes wandered around the room, appreciating all the hard work his friends had done in the common room. "Guys, our tower is the best, hands down. It looks amazing in here!"

() "Are you staying for the holidays?

() "it pays to know the house elves!" Gaia beamed.

"It keeps looking better and better by the minute," she agreed, nodding at Adrien. "This place has Christmas spirit at the wazoo! Ravenclaws win at Christmas!" She took a big, happy chomp out of her wrap and chewed happily, rocking back and forth on her feet. At Gaia's question, she nodded.

"Yup! I'm actually looking forward to it. It'll be nice and peaceful here compared to the zoo that is my house on Christmas."

( ) "perfect! I will put in a request for loaded fries and cheese fries for Christmas lunch!" to everyone "would you want to have breakfast here or go to the Great Hall? If so I can ask Spinny for some special stuff."

() Adrien hummed in agreement, "By the time we're done in here, it'll be quite the Christmas spectacle."

He finished off one of his sandwiches in time to answer . "I'd be okay eating breakfast in here with you guys. We could always go to the Christmas dinner in the Great Hall. That way it'll be like our own little Ravenclaw Christmas meal," he finished with a smile.

() "Yeah I figured we could open our gifts while eating french toast or something!" Gaia drank some of her juice and then smiled " I can always ask for a special menu." It really did pay off sneaking to the kitchens regularly.

"Thanks!" Beth walked up to ."The food looks great!" She grabbed herself a sandwich and quickly took a bite of it. "This is delicious. All this decorating has worked up my appetite!"

"I think eating breakfast in here on Christmas is a wonderful idea."

"I'm sure we could, we just probably shouldn't..."

Giggling, she nibbled on some crackers and cheese, chasing the bites with sips of decadent cocoa. She agreed with Adrien ()

"It's so beautiful I'm sure we'll hardly miss home - this place feels just like it!"

She considered Gaia's question.

"I promised I'd meet Emmy for breakfast in the great hall... But I'm sure I could make it back here in time if we had a breakfast of our own!"

As Beth () indicated she needed a hand, Aderyn happily obliged. She fluttered up to the tops of the windows and hovered at arm level, straightening the garlands so they all hung evenly and symmetrically.

Beth looked in awe at the common room. "The common room looks so magical. I wonder if anyone else is planning on staying over break."

"Christmas breakfast in the Common Room sounds wonderful! Escpecially french toast. I hope it snows!" It wasn't a proper Christmas without snow. "It'll just seem strange without a proper snow on Christmas." She nodded thoughtfully. "Plus, Ravenclaw house is like my family away from home! It makes sense to spend Christmas morning with everyone here."

After this announcement she paused to give the common room another look. "Fantastic! The garlands look amazing," she gave Beth and Aderyn a clap.

"I'm staying here as well," she muttered to . She was relieved to spend time in Ravenclaw with her closet friends. A lot of the students had left to return home this morning. Even with the party commotions, she had hardly heard the room so quiet.

() "Oh yes! Snow would be lovely to wake up to," she agreed. She got excited thinking about the Christmas breakfast the next morning.

"It would be! Especially because we won't have anything to do. We can just sit inside by the fire and enjoy it!" Elune's enthusiasm was catching and Ethel found herself grinning and bouncing toward the window, peering out into the darkening Christmas Eve day. "Come on snow! Come on Christmas!"

Aderyn grinned as Ethel () commended the common room.

"Everything looks brilliant - good job, team!"

She gave a thumbs up, too, as she expressed interest in the prank war they were going to start.

"The more the better! We're going to paint the town red, as it were."

Gaia had slipped out while everyone ate and talked to one another. She wanted to make sure everyone had gifts when staying at Hogwarts. She enjoyed gifting, but there was always around except right now. Once done gaia sneaked her way back with the group.

"The tower looks great! All we need now is the New Year decor and ball drop!" Gaia giggled she wasn't sure if the wizard-born students will understand the reference. "What should we do for New Year's Eve? I am thinking asking the house elves for a stew and maybe a vegetarian chili. We can have breads and some sweets. Since there aren't that many of us I figure something low-key for us." Gaia sat on the floor while eating a cookie and drinking some coffee.

"Oooh chili and corn bread sounds scrumptious!" Ethel clapped her hands in enthusiastic approval of this plan. "And we will definitely need some party hats! And noise blowers! Oh, oh! And maybe some fireworks!"
