Ooooh boy. I just came on Subeta this morning for a quick minute. Today's Superbowl Sunday which is HUGE in my family no matter who's playing - anywho, it seems the larger forums have a big owie:

And of course our Lair is a larger forum.

Only thing I can think of to do is make us a temporary refuge that may become permanent if they've decided that our forum got to big for its britches or something. And here it is ❤

, can't see your reply to her.

Love you babe! Just sayin' ❤

Love you Sida, I hope the girls are doing ok today ❤

Im off to take care of a couple other posts I need to do then continue getting ready for the big game. GO HAWKS!

Thanks for making this temp/perm refuge. I got that warning once today when sending a comment but then didn't get it the second time.

I'm getting it now with our usual forum though :(

Yay! Thank you ! I was wondering about the forums...but glad we can come here. Hope we can go back to the lair again when things are fixed but for now happy our fearless leader found a place for us ❤

Haha I'm not even a football fan but excited about the game today...don't know who I'll be rooting for but it tends to be whoever is not favored to win...or the best uniform color or some other reason that makes no sense :D

- I had responded to you in the lair...was thanking you for your kind response to my...semi-meltdown...hmmm...semi-meltdown...what does that make you think of? YES COOKIES...I will be baking some today...semi sweet...melted...life just got better. We thought we were going to watch the second Back to the Future last night but watched the first. So still waiting to see what will happen in 2015 as I am sure it is all accurate in the movie, right?

Dont know who will win in the superbowl today. But thought I would share a superbowl story, even though I am not a fan of football. My Dad in his enthusiasm for his team bet a friend on his team winning. Well he celebrated to much and forgot. Lucky his friend was honest. He called, up my Dad the next day and told him he had his $100 ready. Well he asked, his friend "what are you talking about?" Then he heard, he had bet money on his team. So his day was off to a good start.

Go Pats!!! Back from the hospital again, I have to hold on until Monday to get my opioid pain medicine and the med for the vertigo but trying to play here, get cleaned up then take in "The Game!" Ring number four, c'mon it is overdue!! Oh FYI to avoid trouble the med all ordered by the doctor for me, I am hurting yo! :/ I like refuge so ty. :) As for the ball thing the NFL loves to mess us over, it may have been a sting operation as so many records have been broken by us and indeed sadly the haunting of an inappropriate surveillance charge in 2007. * sigh * Yet many teams carry some nasty element, I love my Pats! Belichick, Brady, Edelman, Gronk, Gray, Blount!, Vince Wilfork the big guy on defense! As for me I have to take it easy.

Where does it end? Where does it begin? Does it begin again, is mortality a revolving door or indeed life's final exit

A week from now I'll be super tired and mostly without internet access (probably there will be some zombie plot while I'm gone) because I will have arrived in the States. That's right! I will be spending two weeks in Arizona. The first few days I will be following a course, but after that it's travel time! I haven't really booked anything yet, because I'm not yet sure where I'll be going and when I'll be there. I hope that's not going to be a problem (Since the Grand Canyon website states it's wise to book hotels in advance), but hey, it's Februari so there shouldn't be that many tourists, right? Now I'm wondering how good the phone connections are in the States. Is there always a network available? For example, if I'm driving from Phoenix to the Grand Canyon through the desert? And is the tap water clean enough to drink? I'm expecting yes, since the States aren't some kind of third world country, but you never know :P Maybe there's too much chloride in it or something. Are the navigation systems in rental cars really that expensive? On several websites I read that they cost $15 per day. You cannot seriously offer this to your customers, right? I looked on the Wallmart website and they sell one for $44, so if I rent a car for more than 3 days it's cheaper to just buy one O.o I read something about sandstorms, are they common?

~ How exciting for you! Where are you traveling from? I don't know about that part of the country... If you were visting New York I would recomend drinking bottled water, even in a resturant. I've been ill from drinking the city water when I was there. Not sure about all cities, but I think most over treat their water with chlorine and such. Where I live, at my house we are on a well not the city water so we can drink it no problem, but I still use filter pitchers. Grand Canyon woohoo! I'd love to go see that someday. I hear Bryce Canyon is also quite beautiful, but that is in Utah. I hope the weather is great for your visit!! Safe travels!! and can't wait to hear all about it when you get back :)

Superbowl today!! Yay!! I will be making some chilli later! Being from the New England states originally, I'm routing for the Patriots! Although, yay to whoever wins. I hope it's a good game :)

I'm flying from Amsterdam. Thanks for the tip! I guess I'll drink bottled water just to be safe. I don't want to be stuck with diarrhea in those two weeks that I'm there! A colleague of mine told me I was crazy to stay in Arizona for two weeks, according to her I'd get bored because there's nothing to do. But actually, I think I won't have enough time to see everything there is to see. There are a lot of National Parks all over the place. I might also go to Las Vegas, since it's not that far away from the Grand Canyon, and there's plenty to see along the roads while going there. I've been stalking the weather and it seems to be fine. Though I don't know what to pack, since in Phoenix it's the temperature of a nice spring/summer day (at least for my standards), while near the Grand Canyon it's freezing. I'll keep Bryce Canyon in mind, it's not too far from Arizona (or I'm very bad at distances) and I found some other cool things on the border with Utah, like Lake Powel, Antelope Canyon, Monument Valley and Colorado Plateau.

~ from Amsterdam, wow that must be a long flight! oh yeah, I'd definitly hit Vegas while there. Lots to see, so little time. I had to look it up on the map, lol, but Utah is right on top of Arizona. They are large states though... I just google mapped it and it's a 4 hour 21 minute drive from Grand Canyon Park to Bryce Canyon Park. That should be doable. Hmmm, maybe plan to dress in layers? It all sounds so fun!!

I saw that I was unable to access the other thread. I subscribed to this thread for the meantime.

I know I have no interest in the Super Bowl and will be running errands today. Claire will be watching the Puppy Bowl though.

Yeah, first I'm flying 10 hours from Amsterdam to Seattle, then another 3 hours to Phoenix. Compared to the 13 hours of flying, a 4 and a half hours detour doesn't sound so bad :P Ugh, in 4 and a half hours you can go from one extremity to the other in the Netherlands. I'll throw some extra vests in the luggage. In the worst case scenario I'll have to buy a Grand Canyon sweater :P It's so exciting! I'm very busy at work currently, with lots of stuff that need to be finished before I go, so my brains didn't have time yet to realize it's so close now. Next weekend I'll be in the plane :O

Your BOY he inspired me :) Have a wonderful visit in the USA! I have heard Arizona is lovely. Didn't see your comment because of the crash. But I am sure it was wunnerful. Yay Patriots! My husband said if he were a betting man his money would be on the Seahawks but he supports the pates. He is up after midnight to go watch it at a friends (time difference) :)
