I don't like watching sports games, just because there is so much money involved the people don't play for fun anymore. They do everything to win, and in the soccer games that we have in Europe that leads to people trying to trip others when the camers aren't looking, or faking a fall in hopes of getting the other player a yellow card. There's so much verbal abuse among the players themselves and then I haven't even started talking about the supporters. Last week some supporters home burned to the ground, and it turned out that it wasn't a natural fire. That's how far people go just to spite people that support some other team. Or maybe I just don't watch sports because my parents never did :P

Sounds like a lot of fun stuff to do! Though I doubt that I will have time to see everything in California, since with this trip to Arizona now I'm using up most of my free days. So probably I'd have only one or two days extra, and I'll have to make a choice in what I will visit. My colleagues went to Yosemite last year, so I'll probably not see it this year since we'll probably go to some place they also haven't visited yet.

Thanks! I'll keep that in mind! I hope I'll be ok though, there's not that much that can go wrong. Do you know of any places in/around Phoenix that I absolutely must see? Because in looking for things to do I mainly focussed on the National Parks, deserts, forests and mountains. But I actually have no clue about cool things in the city itself.

: CHOCOLATE!! Weldon has two bags of dark chocolate buttons in the pantry and he thinks that I don't know about them because I never go into the kitchen ( legendary fear of the kitchen ). The comment I made to about the Superbowl was regarding the NFL "Rally" advert in which the characters from the "LEGO Movie", "The Penguins of Madagascar" and "My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic" appeared. Since I am an avid My Little Pony fan, I explained that, for me seeing MLP characters in a Superbowl advert was the best 2 seconds of the entire game experience.

What caused the brawl was something that occurred in the absence of a football game and/or intelligent sportshumans.

Most definitely! No silly football could tear us apart!!! I'm not that attached to the seahawks anyway LOL I have just been anti-patriots since they had that 3/4 superbowl run 2002, 2004, 2005. dodges projectiles I felt like they won too much! I've always been one for the underdog. And then when they beat the Chargers in 2008 to get to the superbowl that sealed it for me. LOL We're a California lovin family. Mom is 49ers, Dad is Chargers. We're waiting for that Niners/Chargers superbowl!! Except for the Niners ( WOOO!) I've always been a lukewarm fan no matter what team I cheer for though. I am one of those whiners who wishes we put all that ridiculous money toward education and community building. :P

And ick yes, that fight v_v Yay grownups.... The Seattle fans were terrible back in the day. Though I guess it was really the Husky fans at the Seattle game. I was in the WSU Cougar Marching Band and we got to play at a Seahawk halftime show and when we were waiting to get on or off the field they were hissing and booing at us, spitting, throwing their drinks. It was friggin ridiculous! I just thought. WTF Aren't we all adults here? Didn't you go (and hopefully graduate) from university? Where the f are your manners/brains/common decency???! I hate the Huskies... (lol like that isn't the exact mentality that had them throwing crap at us)

Today, I managed to get sick. It did suck being in pain all day, though at least I may be getting better. Until now, I forgot that Charlie whines when he thinks there is no one around.
