Nestly: The only thing that bugs me is that the top outline of the main looks a little fuzzy and thick? It's just a tad inconstant with the rest of the lineart, methinks. Also.. are the stripes on the legs suppose to be inconsistent with each other? It looks odd with that one random stripe on the foot. xD Maybe just match the stripes on the hind legs.

Otherwise, congrats Hagane! Glad you kept the tail angled like that, and happy to see this finally up again! thumbs up

How is the head too small for the body? o_o The head is like 1/3 of the size of the body. I don't think any equine has that proportion, eve poneys are what, 1/6 head proportion XD Aren't you confusing it with the chibi? And I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks the cheeks are cute.

I adore this! It's the best revamp ever! The head could be turned a little more to the left as it looks a little like it's craning it's head but over all this revamp is wonderfully drawn and is really a great looking pet!

I really love the colours and shading on the new one; it looks great! I noticed the back leg before I read the comments, and it seems like several others had already commented on it. I know this will make it look overly cute, but for some reason (maybe it's the legs or shortened body?) I think that the head should be a tiny tiny bit bigger.

I adore the latest revamp idea. It holds more charm than some of the older revamps. It keeps a faint regal appearance without losing both sides of the odd hikei. The shading is gorgeous! I love how you can say that the stripes are fading due to the glow of the orbs or even lighting.

I am so embarrassed to say that until this redraw I never noticed that the front and rear legs were not the same!! There is something about this new one that seems more detailed to me... I am not sure if it is the pose or what! I really like it... nicely done casts vote

I like it better than the last revamp up for poll, but it still needs some work. Like the mane and hoofs are better, but I think Hikeis need to keep the baby-ish, innocent-looking eyes they have now. The slant makes it look like the Hikei is supposed to be really majestic. Also, it's cheeks are a bit chubby, but that's not so bad.

The cheek farthest away from the viewer is shows a little too much. If it were smaller it would make the tilt of the head look not so awkward. And the closest back paw seems like it's too far down, it might just be me (xP) but it seems to be a smidge farther down than the hoof in front.

Otherwise I love this version. I love the shading on the hair and the tails are awesome! Also, butt fur FTW! xD

Hmmm...looks nice but I still prefer the old one I think. It's because...I like the way of the old ones face and look. But thank God they both look nice so it's not another pet revamped that I don't like after it anymore

I love it. If anything the head is too thin/small for the gaudy body, but overall I love the new hikei!

I absolutely love this. I'm extremely impressed by how it still retains the original feel, but is vastly better. I'll agree with the little butt tuft bothering me a bit, but otherwise I find it's perfect. Hikeis are one of my favorite pets, but I never wanted one because of how they looked.

Now, if they look like this, I think I'll certainly be getting one.

This is really cute! ^^ Somehow, the head seems to lose the horse-ness that was with the old one, but otherwise, much more detailed and desirable. I voted for the new one.

I love the shading on this one, but the pose of the other one was nicer sort of. So combined = perfect. but do whatever you want, i'm not a huge fan of that kind. lovely job on the shading

I always considered the Hikei a zebra, not a horse/cat, as everyone else is calling it. I see the cat-like qualities, and I see the zebra qualities.

Perhaps, if it really is a zebra-cat, the eyes should be more feline.

I think the artist did a really great job on the body, and the face, generally. The ears and hair are nice, however, the head's angle seems a bit off to me. The head is also a tad too small for the body.

However, I like the size of the body.

The fuzziness of the creature I also like, but perhaps some extra fuzz could be added to the back legs, around the knee area.

The markings are absolutely gorgeous.

I still have a fondness of the adorable-ness of the old Hikei, but as for one you could do the most poses with, this one is a winner.

Perhaps, in the future, you can use the old appearance of the Hikei in reference to its chibi-form.

Great job, though, artist.

I like the shading on the hoofs, but the shading on the body looks like it should be a bit more detailed. Same with the mane, it kind of looks a bit fake to me. The eyes look less intelligent than other subeta pets, but more than the old one. I like the pose though

Much more like a horse! I didn't like Hikeis before, but this makes me reconsider. I do think the back paws are a tad too small, but that's not too important.

I miss the charakter of the old hikei. The new might be better drawn, but the old is cuter. As the last times the pose is not so good. The old looks like it was standing on the head of a pin.

Very nice! I really like this one a lot better. I think maybe the head could be a little larger - same proportions as far as the cheeks and such go, but just so it looks more in proportion with the body overall. But even without my nitpicking, I think it's really great!
