I really like the touch ups the artist did! I think they did a great job listening to all the critiques and updating accordingly. I actually really like this guy's face and the new hair. The butt fur sticking out does look a little odd though and I hope that gets addressed before it's released. Overall though this is by far the best revamp yet, so yay!

I like this, but the tails seem too thick. And I like how this is one of the first revamps Ive seen where the head isnt huge. In the previous ones, even of different pets, they all look chibi cause of the big heads. This one has a normal sized head, yay! Also, the back feet should be more paw like, you know, legs a tiny bit thinner and the toes bigger, like a tiger maybe.

One last thing, I think it would look a little more natural if its head wasnt looking at us from such a great angle. Its body should be angled more twards us, then it wouldnt have its head turned so far. And maybe pull the hooves back a little, they kinda stick out.

Love the shading. The mane is too cute to!

hmm... it looks pretty good but I think it would be nice to have the orbs on the tail to be smaller? and it does remind me of a my little pony a little. it looks really nice though.

The nose is facing too far away for the left eye to be where it is...the nose needs to come back towards us a little bit I think. Also, the back leg looks a little fat...it looks like it should be slimmed down in the back.

It's miles ahead of the old one though, great job by the artist.

I really, really like this new one. The only thing that bothers me is the front hooves. Maybe they, along with the legs, could be slimmed down just a tad? That would make it perfect. 8'D

Ooh, the shading on the new mane is lovely! The deep blues are quite striking. Also, the sleek look of the front (between the neck and hooves) looks good. The only thing I'd suggest is that the eyes are a bit small (or maybe too angular?), and the orbs on the tail seem a bit bulky. I don't mean to seem negative, overall it's a great work of art! ^^

I really really love this redraw, I wonder if the tail orbs and sort of delicate look of the tail could stay the same though? Love the new pose and it looks like the same pet! Definitely looove the mane!

Looks great, but I agree with some of the suggestions for the ears and feet. Other than that, I love the mane and it's overall a huge improvement!

Hikeis are one of my favourites since the very beginning.

I liked the old ears and eyes better, but i think I could deal with the new ones too. Also the old tail looked more delicate / filligree and the glowing of the bubbles looks very reduced on the new ones.

What i dislike at eyes and ears is the "unnatural" shape of them, and those is, what I really don't like at the "new feet" at all: they look too flimsy and also a bit unnatural overall.

(I know that the Hikei itself hasn't been seen in real nature recently.. -but I hope you know what I mean by "unnatural", yes? )

What I really really like is the new pose, the diffrent shading and the look of the new mane. <3

There is one thing I wonder about polls in general: Why is the new one shown on top of the old one everytime? For those users who only do the polls because of the sP they would most likely just click the first picture, not the one they like more.

Just a thought.

I voted for the old one, but am hoping for another version of the new one, maybe? ^^

Mmm I like this one but I'm going to be a little nit-picky here XD
One thing I notice right off the bat was the back feet.. they just don't seem to fit size wise. If they are supposed to be 'feline-like' then they need to be a tad bigger. If you look at a tiger/lion paws the toe size fit well with the paws.
And as a suggestions, because this is going to bug me. The left side of the face really shouldn't be showing like it is. The way it is drawn makes the snout look off. I would suggest either trimming the cheek or make the view a bit more like a horse/pony from that angle.
And that was my two cents ^^

Nice lines and cel-shading. The only things that bother me are the shape of the eyes (rounder would be more appropriate), and the hooves. If you're going to have cloven hooves, then draw them with a reference. Other than that, it's beautiful. c:

I actually like this revamp enough to vote for it. It's a very good piece and I think it's still as cute as the original while updating the art quality. The only thing I could think of to tweak is nixing the little fur tuft on the hind quarters. I especially like the lighting effect the artist used on the tail. Bravo. I give this revamp an A.

I think it looks perfectly fine. I especially love the new tails, and the mane. This revamp makes me want to get a hikei.

The revamp is a general improvement as always, but there's still a few things that seem off about it... others have mentioned it as well - the hindquarters? I think it might be the butt, it seems to end too shortly, and there's no visible hip line. The face seems either too chubby in the cheeks, or too short, probably the former. Ears raked forward a bit more, like the old Hikei? Just an extra little thing, doesn't bother me for either - have the tips of the tails curl a little bit more around the orbs?

Overall, an improvement, but the butt needs a little work. ^^

I can see where people are coming from when they say the cheek is too 'puffy', but other then that I really like this revamp, the puffy cheeks don't bother me too much anyway, it looks cute in my opinion. I also like the pose better then the original, though the original is very cute, I do like this revamp better, thank you to the artist, I think it's wonderful

i really like this revamp over the last proposed one. you've taken a lot of suggestions from people and put them to work. this is definitely a Hikei there are only three things i'd like to see changed:

the pink on the nose doesn't seem to follow the contour. it looks like it just goes up higher on the other side instead of wrapping around.
if it's possible to find an in between of the new and old revamps' eyes, i think those would look best.
the biggest thing that caught my attention was its right ear (our left) the base is rather bulby, but suddenly it just becomes a thin point. my preference is to continue with the round, since the original had big round ears. but yes, overall, wonderful job! the mane is perfect i can't believe how many complained about it last time to make it a mohawk again, then now are complaining about it being so. same with the size of the front legs. it's making me laugh, but it's also kind of sad. everyone should go look at the previous poll and see what a huge improvement this one is.

i still don't like it because the body seems to boring mybe some more added stripes around the stomach and neck area would improve it even more but mybe thats just be me being pessimistic

This looks amazing! But I voted for Old. There's just something about the hind legs on this one that kinda bothers me...looks a little too low, and appears more bear-like to me rather than cat-like (That is, if it is supposed to look zebra/cat-ish =o )

Personally, if somehow the artist(s) applied this new, pretty cool looking Hikei with the old general pose it was in, that would be awesome.

While I think it is much better than the old version, I still think this revamp could be better... I also feel that the far cheek sticks out too much, and the muzzle is too thin. It also has a very creepy expression, or lack thereof an expression. I think a longer mane would be nice, but that's just something I think about the Hikei in general, not the revamp.

I love it! The hooves just seem a bit too large and stiff... The farthest cheek also shows too much. Makes the whole face look awkward, and the muzzle too skinny.

It's still very cute but it also still has one thing that really bothers me with them. Even if I have a Hikei g. I would love if you could make their manes longer. I think they would look lovely with longer hair and it would make them even more cute I think. That would be really awesome So I hope you think about that

I love it; I think that the face looks so much more streamlined than in the chibier versions. I'm wondering though, if the stripes could be less light-reflecting and a bit darker?

Very cute. Though, I think the new one's eyes..idk. They bother me. Make them bigger? Hikei's, to me, always seemed like the cutesy horsie of the site, y'know? And that makes them look more mature, yeah, but..come onnnn..cuuute. xD

I really like this new one, but my only thing about it, is that I think the nose isn't horse-enough. It's a little too.. narrow, maybe? I dunno. xP And the floaty ball thingees need to be smaller, like the old one. =3

Other than that I love it. The new pose is awesome, and I love the little back feet!
