The Mortiking would prefer you vote in the new poll the nice way, before he has to ... navigate you to the booth :)

Who drew this?

I am not a Mortiking fan either way. But the new version is obviously better quality art. So that is how I voted.

He looks bloated, like he hasn't exercised in DAYS. Other than that, he looks okay. I like the back spine, and the horns and claws. But still, I prefer the old version better.

I'll bring up a few problems. The most "vsile" arm has issues, as some have mentioned. Also, if the Mortiking is based off of dinosaurs, and reptiles, he should have a more toned body shape, not just.. "fat"

My real problem, and what caused me to vote for the older version, was the face. The marking on his eye now looks like a giant bag under his eye, and the mouth is much too small. I've yet to see a dragon, reptile, or dinosaur that had a mouth that tiny. Usually, the mouth goes all the way, nearly to the back of the jaw. So, to me, his face just looks.. retarded.

Otherwise, its nice art, but just.. has quite a few little things that make the overall piece not the nicest thing to look at.

Is there a reason the poll links to Subeta.net?

Anyway, on to the actual revamp. Can't say I'm fond. The mouth looks VERY small. The shading makes him look very blobby instead of muscular. Its the same sort of problem that showed up in the Dragon revamp.

His left hind foot looks very very smooshed, his claws barely show further then the foot itself, and they don't seem very sharp either.

I do love love love his tail, and the pose. I think this is a good starting place for the Mortiking revamp, just needs some more work before its released.

Something about this gives me an impression of a gang boss. The expression... seems... off. And I like the amount of fat, I think not conforming to 'must be skinny' aspect gives it personality. However, I voted for the older revamp. I love the artwork and effort but this... just isn't it yet. Nice work, though, artist. ^^

This is the first revamp poll where I voted to keep the old version. The quality of the art on the new one is better, but the pose looks awkward somehow; the way the head and neck connect seems wrong, and the mouth isn't long enough for the muzzle so the teeth look odd. I'd like to see bigger claws on the hind feet, and the tip of the tail should be visible.

I like it well enough, it's just not what I see in my head when I think of mortikings. (Disclaimer; some of the things I see in my head are not fit for human view. )

I love its chubby/muscular body but the facial expression irritates me a bit, I'd prefer a more neutral one instead.

I kind of like both, but as everyone else agrees, it looks kinda fat. MUCH more detailed, however, in the skin and everything. Although the lip curls up too far in his snarl. I like the little mark on the old Mortiking's stomach than the new one, too. : /

I love the body, plain and simple. Though the arm closest to us might have a bit much flesh in the biceps area, I like the chub on the belly though. However, I've had to vote old on the basis of the face bothers me. Its just not really a mortiking face. I kinda liked how the expression was shown through the eye rather than the mouth. The shading and texturing ins very nice though.

Lovely art, it's like to see the tip of the Mortiking's tail, though. Thank you, at least, for keeping the color scheme. xD

I don't know, the snarl just doesn't look right. He looks so beefy, and he looks like he hasn't slept in days.. o-o; I think I prefer the old one..

Scarrier looking, but not as good I think. I agree.. looks kind of.. chubby. I just dislike this one in comparison to the current ones.
