<center><img src=http://www.subeta.ws:8080/images/keeper_kingkeith.gif></center><br /> The <a href=shop.php?shopid=38>Free Shop</a> has opened it's doors, and it is where all future giveaways will be held! Tonight we will be testing it out :)<br /> <center> </center> <br /> You might want to watch for these two items, that can only be found in this giveaway! <br /><br /> Just so you know - this shop restocks just like any other shop. Meaning that all the items in the giveaway will be restocking over time ;) This means that one time zone is NOT favored over others :)

Also, if it's empty, make sure to stick around. This giveaway should last through to tomorrow :)

It is a really nice idea...thank you Subeta Team! It is a little glitched yet..most of the time it comes up wanting sp for item. I use IE

First of all thank you for doing this giveaway! After the last giveaway debakel I thought it would take longer until you would attempt a new one! But I also share the criticism that has been voiced in previous posts. There have been some good ideas already and I am looking forward to future giveawasy with a more refined and improved system! Thanks again for doing this giveaway!

I agree with Skitty as well. This is a nice idea with the shop restocking but because of the way its done things move really fast and people with slower internet connections won't get anything. I personally think it would be better with a combination of the two (the old giveaway system but it restocks a certain amount of items every so often throughout a few days so people with different time zones get a chance or something like that). I just had my first experience with the shop and that is my opinion on it.

Skitty I'm with you on this... (I'm NOT complaining) I really like the shop idea and the whole time zone thing but my connection is slow and I never RS I just wait for people to stop wanting an item and go after it once interest dies and it just sits there I think a good way is to have more then one of each item restock at one time... maybe fewer items but more of the same (especially the shirt and feli hat ^^) just my thoughts .

Devilishous - Yup. I am too cuz. Only for some items. It's a glitch. We'll have to put up with it.

Alright. I signed off for the night, came back this morning, and what do I find? Nothing has changed. :/ I do like some of the ideas people are coming up with (especially the one about random boxes--that's awesome! I'd love to do that one), but overall this has been a "rich get richer" type of thing. Non-restockers don't really stand a chance, while high-class super-restockers get absurd amounts of cash shop items and rares with few people in the middle. I don't even dare go look at the forums right now because all the bragging threads will just make me mad. I'm going to go play another site until all this blows over.

I give up on 0 free items gotten. I'm not complaining just agreeing on suggestions. I agree on the suggestion of a set a time limit between each item, like 10 or 15 minutes also the about the mystery boxes so you never know what your getting

Hmm, I saw Echolalia's idea for a token shop format, which is actualy a really smart idea. There is also someththing else you can do, on Mistic giveaways, to be fair, they only have the giveaway item up for abit, but then, after about 12 hours

But the thing I want to point out is, personally I don't like this system for one main reason. It's too stressful. It's like panic mode, cause Im trying to find good items. DC was just a sit back and refresh 12 items. lol

I agree Dusti. As bad as the complaints were about DC, and at first I was optomistic with this, but since seing someoneos grazily greedy hoard yesterday I am angry. Some peole haven't even snagged COMMON items yet for petes sake! This is turning out to be the worst giveaway ever. The only way to profit from this is to be a good RS'er with a fast connection.

To those telling people to stop whining and be thankful... is this the standard response whenever someone doesn't like an idea?? When the giveaways were in the dc, I don't know how many times I saw that. And I think that at the very least, MOST of the people that are complaining here, are at least being respectful and some are even offering up new ideas. Not really my definition of whining (and I should know, I've got 3 children who do it all the time ) I don't think it's a question of not being thankful, but there seems to be a large group of people that either like the system and/or have gotten 0 items from this shop, so they're obviously going to voice their opinions. And yes, I am in that category.

And for what it's worth, I personally like the mystery box/question mark idea too I love surprises!

umm.. i might be missing something... not that i am complaining though... but i don't really understand this... if the free shop sells stuff for free... how come i end up losing the Sp on items i'm buying for "free"? i mean... then they are not free, are they? unsure... i don't get it (maybe i'm dumb like that xD)

Anyone care to comment on my profile explaining? Thanks

I really like the idea, but the thing that gets me is stocking a small amount of items for 300-500 people. I have to go with liking the DC giveaways much better. no matter how many of us complained, I think the DC giveaways were much better. At least one had items they could see and had a chance at obtaining, where now you have to be a darn good rs'er with a great connection to even have a chance in hell. Still, thank you for the giveaway! I have snagged a couple of things.

I've always been appreciative of the free giveaways, that is until now. I only took what was on my WL on those giveaways but this new idea shakes head, I have got THE slowest computer around & in order to get anything from the shops I have to get up around 4am-6am to do my restocking (there are only like 150people on then), so I thought maybe the same thing w/this giveaway. Heck no!! At 5am there were 239people online, the shop had not restocked in over 10 min & just when I had refreshed the shop was full. I spied the "I hate you tee", clicked as fast as I could but as I said my comp is so slow & loaded so slow, by the time I was done entering the code, they were sold out. So I will sit this one out. heavy sigh I really wanted both of those items for my gallery. I will keep my fingers crossed that they will come up with another plan for really slow comp. users & non-prof. restockers. I know they are trying their best to please everybody but in my opinion (and before you jump down my throat, you know what they say about opinions ) this isn't it. I liked the idea of "mystery boxes". I was also thinking about it last night & why couldn't they put a cap on the # of itemspeople got out of the DC & even extend the time limit. Thanks for the giveaway SubetaTeam, even if I'm not participating in it.

Echolalia's idea, also I love it. 8O And the question mark box thing is neat too: if people get what they don't plan using, they can always trade them for stuff they want. Like, in the forums. People could put up the things they got, and.. etc.

heres my opinion- the way it works for different time zones is an excellent idea, and very fair. However, it sort of follows with the saying, the rich get riccher and the poor stay poor. People with the most sps usually are the amzing restockers. The poorer people usually arent as great at restocking, and have to buy the items full price. me, I'm a slow restocker, and didnt really get anything yet, because by the time my computer loads, everything's sold out. Maybe, as a possibility, it would stock like a shop but without the code or something. It would make it easier for the not so good restockers. (i dunno, its just an opinion though. Nice attempt in making it fair anyway...)

good morning everyone

oh i like the idea about putting the items behind question marks. that way everyone has a chance of getting something good. i am a regular restocker and i have high speed and i have typing skills but still have trouble getting even the cheapest things.

I like the idea, but people head to the rare items and some have to buy the item at the store it's in. I think have the items as gifts or thing would work, and make a limit to how many people can get because people will buy all just for the items they want. Then went a new user take a gift they would end up with a pet rock (o.0 ....My pets need a new minion, now. But I can't stop to think about having rocks as a minion....)

I don't really like this way, it favors restockers over other subeta users. I think, regardless of whatever giveaway occurs, some people are going to claim its unfair, but I believe the DC giveaway was more fair than this one. The DC giveaway favors the random people who happen to be online, or in certain timezones. The shop selectively favors restockers.

I like the idea of putting all the items behind question marks. I also think that doing DC giveaway, only restocking it like a shop, would work as well. So flood the DC with less rare items, then every few minutes restock a few rare ones. Like RSing without the RS, so everyone can fairly browse the DC for items.

I like the suggestion about hiding all the items in this shop behind question marks. It makes it more fun because everyone is not going to go for the same good item, and everyone has an equal chance to get something good.
