aww that's sweet.... until you need to stand up and move of course :P It's something I've wanted to learn for ages, but it's not the easiest of things to learn without a proper face-to-face class, so it's more challenging to try learning it from a book! ;) That can be a bit of a disadvantage when English is your first language, as you can then be pretty lazy and not want to bother learning any other language :P

I am very used to having to move him off my lap whenever I need to get up to do something. ;)
There are some good apps for learning languages, but I have not tried any of them myself. :) Hehe.. I can see that when English is your first language. But it is not like I can travel outside of Denmark and Sweden and expect to be understood without switching languages. :P

I'm amazed he allows you to move :P
I've tried an app to learn Italian before, but I couldn't get the hang of the pronunciation :P And that's a good point! I'm not likely to need to learn a language to visit a foreign country, but it would be useful to be able to talk to any tourists in town and make sense laughs

thank you. lol maybe :P okay, yes. Hehehe you know me too well. I see you and I are dressed similar today :D I swear I didn't see yours until I'd already finished and saved mine LOL. that's when I remembered too lmao. Cheers and thanks for the mermaid bottom in that Annon giftbox ;)
:) he really is a sweetie. Did you see all the new games coming out on Nintendo direct? They had a trailer for the new Zelda, which is coming out May 12 next year.
hehe I'm amazed you didn't start at the beginning of September though :P
hehe I struggled to hide the feet seeing as I used a full body item to get the red skin ;) so I've hidden those with the whiteout pens, but it does block out some of the waves :P Your one looks better than mine though ;)
I don't know what you mean 😇

it was tempting, but I didn't want to start it too early and find the desire to do the halloween HAs waning.
Yeah you can't change that with many layering items either. There are some but not many. I can see a bit of the arm too :P Was it one of those jellyshots? Aww thank you.
LOL i don't really believe you :P
as if your Halloween costume desire would wane :P
I hadn't notice the arm :P and yep that's one of the jelly shots ;) I think maybe just a basic base colour would've worked better laughs The face paint was a challenging one - I wasn't too keen on the demon look, but it was the best I could find to match the red :P
:P ok I admit it - I was passing on the Keel Hauliday joy seeing as someone anon sent me a wishlist item earlier in the day :P

well it can get difficult to make it not feel like I HAVE to keep making them. sometimes I wanna make a different ha rather than a Halloween one. If that makes sense..
Yes! I'm so glad I knew which one you used lol. It's annoying when you can't find things to make the HA work :/
aww so sweet :D
but you could always still call it a costume even though it's not a scary one ;)
hehe it was all I could think of to get that red skin :P

very true. Ooh today's is great and surprising use of forest :D -nods- you gotta go with it sometimes
He does not have much choice if I moved him off my lap. :P He will meow and try to fight himself onto my lap if I there is no room for him. LOL
Italian is such a nice sounding language, but pronouncing their words would probably be a nightmare for me as well, as it is very different from either of our languages! I at least know some words in French and Spanish, even though I am sure my pronunciation is not the best. :)
I watched the whole presentation. Some great stuff. :D Of course I have a preorder for Zelda in, using some gift cards I had saved up. :D

I wasn't planning on using the forest coloured one, but it was the only colour I had the complete set of :P I love today's look - that's utterly perfect! takes a step back from all the dark matters :D
laughs I can imagine you can never eat with a tray on your lap as you'd end up with Pusur lying all the way across it? ;)
If I can imagine the accent in my head while I'm trying to pronounce anything in that language, I can get on a little better.... but it probably just sounds like I'm trying to take the mickey out of their accent, rather than making it sound like it does in my head 😊 laughs

well it worked :) thank you :) I had fun doing Maleria's HA. Yours today looks fantastic :D
thanks :d I thought I'd see if it was possible to make an outfit out of some of the new pirate-y things (Niamh was a bit embarrassed to start with, as the shirt is open at the chest and there wasn't anything new in my wardrobe to cover things :P) ;)
That's an interesting look you've got today - I'm guessing that's based on a tv programme or something?

I completed a big goal yesterday. I now own all retired subeatique items (I can never remember how to spell that one :P). Only missing some that are currently being restocked. :D So if you need a lend, let me know. I most likely have it. :P
Raven: You know I love my Zelda. xD
I use the table in front of me for eating mostly. :) He does want to sniff and check out my food of course, but I don't let him. :)
Mimicking seem to be the way to do it. :D Even if it is not accurate, most people will appreciate your effort to use their language. :D

whoa that's impressive with the 'tique things! (and I can never spell it either, so I always just abbreviate it to 'tique :P)
One of Mum's friends was visiting someone who had cats - they would walk all over the table that the coffee cups were on, so the friend apparently tipped her coffee into a plant pot while the other person wasn't looking, as she didn't fancy drinking something that the cats had been almost dipping their paws into :P
As long as it's not a language were there's multiple different words that sound almost identical but have wildly different meanings - that would be a nightmare for me, to make sure I said the word I was intending to say! ;)

you did a great job :) Its Leeloo from the fifth element. :)
wow congratulations!
I finally tested negative for covid! So I am heading out today for some grocery shopping and fresh air. Yay!
Paddy: Thanks! It has been a work in progress for a long time. :) Glad it is not just me that can't ever spell it. At least the cat was not trying to lick her face like Pusur does. Ewww. :P
There are plenty of words like that in English as well. I constantly see people messing up their, there and they're. :) And you have words like though, thought, taught....... Hair and here always sounded very similar to me.
Raven Thanks! I guess I will focus on plushies and beanbags next. lol

that's lost on me completely :P
Today's pirate look is perfect :D :D :D (and Sorn looks like he's having fun)
how long were you stuck inside for? (and hopefully you didn't have too many symptoms!)
ewwwww that's definitely not something I'd want to happen! :P nods although at least if you're speaking, they're there and their all sound like the right word ;) Some of it also depends on the person's accent, as some regions tend to make different words sound similar ;)
