thanks :D I love yours too. Yeah. I'm pretty frustrated at Dad for being so lax. But there's really nothing for it you know? I simply can't. I did take her for an hour today despite being worn out from the grocery delivery AND getting my glasses back. So far though this time seems to be working.
No, LOL I stopped keeping track. It has to be around 200 though.
I like that name too. Yeah it's not a fun task lol. How's it going?
I'm still working through those new benches laughs I see the flamingo's having a great time with today's HA-less look ;)
That's one heck of a long day, but hopefully Melody will be a bit more chilled (especially as she's now that little bit older) and when you do get back to the training, she'll pick it up like it was only yesterday it stopped ;)
hehe I can't blame you on not keeping track of the total if he's got that many!

I have no idea what Cornish clotted cream is so I am going to have to look that one up. :)
:nods: We don't even have trams in our city, just busses and trains. :)
It is going okay thanks. :) Mum and I made dinner today, pea soup, and we sorted through some of my stuff. Going to donate a bunch of things I have not used in a good while and I have sorted through my scrapbooking stuff. :puh: You?

it's basically thick spoonable cream (you definitely can't pour it!), with a crust on top of it - there's a wikipedia page here (link) ;) Gran came from Cornwall, so Cornish clotted cream has always been a favourite laughs ;)
That's the same as where I am, although there's a group who want to reintroduce trams to the city (apparently the last trams ran in the city in 1939) in the hope they'd be better for the environment than the busses.... not too sure they'll actually get as far as trams being back on the streets again though!

What do you usually eat with the clotted cream? :)
It sounds like it would be expensive to get the trams running. Only 3 cities in Norway has trams I believe. Not a whole lot. :)

I'd normally have the clotted cream with some Christmas pudding or on a mince pie laughs but Mum prefers it as part of a Cream Tea (that's a scone, with cream and jam.... or jam topped with cream, depending on if you want it the Cornish way, or the Devonshire way - they're very protective of which should come first!! :P)
That's not many at all! There's a few places that have trams over here, but nowhere that I've been to (well, apart from historic tramlines that are open as a visitor attraction rather than it being trams running along the road as an alternative to a bus service)

so I had to give up on the one pair of glasses I got. I've gone back 5 times to get all the issues sorted and I had had enough. I asked to do a "restyle" and chose a different frame. The second Pair (was actually the one i did the first restyle for) has been perfect since day one. But this pair has just had issue after issue afer issue. So I'm more than happy to see it go.
Paddy well you've been doign a brilliant job with them <3. I love today's look.
hehe as if I couldn't give him a chance to pop in :D
yeah and with a foot that's not entirely strong, it's wiping me out.
hehe yeah it's crazy the amount of pets he has. those poor house elves must be very busy.
Lene: sounds like a nice day :)
Taking my glasses in and in and in mostly :P
he window of opportunity to do so was closing so i really had to get on snd say enough is enough. Whilst i was wanting for the manager to come round i spotted a pair i wanted to try on. It was four sections down and the bottom. I picked it and seven others i liked the looks of on me and sat down. Then i took two away rather quickly as both were on the large size. One was red and the other was a blackish purple. Then a lady arrived back from lunch so she came over to me. She took two way like that lol. “Nope they are gone. You can see your eyebrows through the lenses.” Lol. That was okay with me as both i was on the fence about anyway. That left a dark purple, a purple and lilac tortoise shell, a red one with the barest hint of orange in it and teal. Lol she took the tortoise shell one for the eyebrow thing too lol. And crinkled her nose (which was still easy to see with the mask on) at the dark purple one. But both she and the lady getting a pair of glasses in the station facing in front of us liked the teal and the red orange one. I put the teal back and and both said yes thats the one lmao. Then the tech held her hand out so she could scan the teal one. -giggles- its all good though because i rather liked the teal one a lot. In fact I remembered i had tried it on last time for the reselect of the other pair. The lady getting her glasses, which turned out to be a cop cos i could see her side arm when she stood) said that teal one is so great on you. Really suits you. The red is great too and would be my close second favourite.” Apparently she’d been watching the show the whole time. Glad they both liked them too though. Gave me further assurance that it was the right choice. Im actually looking forward to getting them. I think they are nicer than the pair i gave back.
I'm tired. Also now on book five about to get to Dumbledor's army.
awww on having that many problems with them, but I think I'd do the same at that point and just want to start over with a fresh frame instead ;)
Thanks :D And I had a feeling you'd go with the dino stuff - that looks brilliant! :D Hopefully it'll all be good progress now, and you'll be getting closer to full strength ;) At least he's got house elves - Niamh's insisting on looking after all her pets on her own :P

Lol. Well maybe they are like Crookshanks and feed themselves. I mean herminone never seemed to have to clean up after him xd.
That does sound yummy! I don't think we have anything like it where I live. Be fun to try sometime. :)
I used the tram a lot when I lived in Oslo. It is an effective way to get where you need to go. And they have a subway system too, unlike other norwegian countries. :P
I am happy you ended up with a pair you really like. :D When I get new glasses I always appreciate getting honest opinions on what looks better on me. My problem is that I have a small face apparently, so a lot of glasses ends up being too big on me. lol
I am heading out later to get a hair cut. :D Looking forward to that. :)

hehe that's always useful when the person in charge of selling the frames is that helpful - some of the people I've come across have just wanted to sell me frames they can't shift o.O And getting the opinion from the other customer is awesome when they also agree those suit you! :D I guess that's another two weeks before they're in?
That's a thought - Hermione never had to do kitty litter trays or even bother feeding him, did she?!
I have a feeling it's the kind of thing you'd only find over here - some people had reviewed it on the supermarket website and complained that there was a crust on the top.... so clearly they didn't understand what clotted cream actually was in the first place! ;)
I've never been on a subway! Even when I had to go to London for work, I walked from the main train station :P It wasn't too far, and it was quite good being able to browse the shops while everyone else was crowded onto the Tube laughs

I have a small face too. Sometimes the kid's ones look good, other times not so good lol. Opinions are great :D it helps reduce the "what the fudge was I thinking when I bought these?' times :D Ooh yay new hair cut :D Sorry for delay, couldn't get onto Subeta.
Yeah :D
oh man what snakes o.0 that's soo wrong. I mean it's one thing if you asked for that but... o.0
yeah another 2 weeks -sighs-
Nope she never so much as opened a tin of cat food anywhere in the book series either, which says something as even Ron and Harry gave their owls Owl treats when they couldn't fly much stuck at Grimmould place.
Sorry for delay, couldn't get onto Subeta.
It is such a big decision for me too since I wear them all day and have them for many years to come. I don't buy new glasses often at all. This is like my 3rd pair and I got my first glasses when I was a teen.
That shows the problems with online reviews. So many of them are fake, and then there are dumb ones like this that likely will make the brand rip their hair out. lol
We used the subway when we visited London. Our hotel was so far away that walking was not an option. I found it a bit confusing to figure out how everything worked though. :P We still did a lot of walking. My feet was so sore by the end of the day!

ooo I love the HA today :D
nods and those frames they tried selling me were not only too big, but were bloke's frames (at that point those frames were very obviously blokes-y in their shape) o.O Maybe they might get them in a bit quicker though ;)
I guess Crookshanks ate a lot of spiders & rodents then o.O that does seem weird that the owls were fed, but not her cat! .... actually, did Ron ever feed Scabbers?
hehe yeah the next reviewer actually said "I don't think the person before me knows what clotted cream is" in their review, so no doubt the company were just left speechless! ;)
I was lucky that it was only Paddington station to Regent Street, so it wasn't too bad (even for me and my really poor sense of direction!). I had done Paddington to Euston station on foot before, but got lost at the end as nobody from work told me where the building was that I was meant to be heading to (and there were no company signs on it, so it just looked like a basic building from the road) 😊. It was weird though as none of the shops opened until 10am, whereas where I worked we opened at 9am. So it was like walking through a ghost town heading to my training for work, as that was due to start at 10 ;) It's surprising how much walking you can do when you're exploring a city though, even if you do end up using public transport as well! :)

They probably never read that response anyway about their dumb reveiw. ;)
It is almost weird having a big city like London feel like a ghost town! But it makes sense I guess with people being at at school or work mostly I guess. I don't remember the name of the area we stayed in. The first time I visisted l visited London our hotel was in Notting Hill. Been there twice.

that's true - the company is probably big enough to not worry about someone who doesn't understand their product ;) (I wonder if they actually put a description of what clotted cream is on the packet, if that would stop people thinking it was wrong for it to have that crust!)
It was more that the shops didn't open until 10am, as they stayed open for longer in the evening than we did. I had to get the main commuter train to get there (the next train would've got there too late, but would've been a lot cheaper!), but also I suppose everyone uses the Underground, so walking through the streets there weren't many other people there at all ;) I've never been to Notting Hill although looking at the map that's quite close to Paddington, so I probably passed it without realising laughs

yeah I hear you. And you've got to like them both fit and look so you'll want to wear them. How's it going?
why thank you :) lol I couldn't resist using my pineapple once more :D Nimah looks happy on her Raptor though Blade says he isn't raptor sitting :P o.0 See I'd just not go back if they did that to me after I demanded to speak to the manager LMAO yes, Ron was talking loudly in book three how Scabbers liked Fudge flies and would have eaten them if he hadn't been murdered by Crookshanks LOL.
laughs Niamh says she's not sure if she'd let anyone raptor sit at the moment - although apparently they are easy to look after with magic :P (cleaning the litter tray is simple 😇)
Well that one was the optician I'd been to ever since I was a child, but the person who helped you pick the frames had changed just before I went that time. I didn't go back again after that (and didn't buy the glasses they wanted me to have :P).
hehe but still Ron didn't ever feed Scabbers proper pet food, did he? (obviously I need to re-read the books again!)

Exactly. :) Doing okay. Just been spending more time organizing my stuff. Man, do I got a lot of it. o-o Yesterday I sorted through some gaming stuff. lol You?
True, it would probably be worse for a small business to get unwarranted bad reviews. ;)
I remember Notting Hill being a nice area. :) I remember it since I had watched the Notting Hill movie before, the one with Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts. lol I do love London, so much to see and do. My fav was of course the HP studios. 👼

the potential for unwarranted bad reviews was one reason why one of the fabric shops in town refused to even have a website, let alone sell online.... unfortunately I think their lack of online presence had a lot to do with them closing down this year :(
I've never actually seen the movie! laughs I do wish I'd got as far as Buckingham Palace, as that wasn't too far from where I had my training course I think.... and of course the HP studios weren't a thing when I was there (shows how long ago that was!!) :P
