That is what I figured. Putting the jam on last seems more messy. I also brought home with me some shortbread to try later. :D I bought some really yummy fruit scones at Marks and Spencer. wish I could get those here! Shopping in the UK is more fun, since you have stuff we don't get at home, for cheaper. ;)
:nods: Wouldn't mind seing some more of England too, and Wales. :D

maybe you could try baking some scones (although they probably won't quite match up to what you got over here!) ;) I'm surprised it works out cheaper if I'm honest - your prices back at home must be horrific! 😊
I'd love to visit North Wales at some point (I did try learning a bit of Welsh a couple of years ago, but I wasn't very good at it :P) :D

quite possibly though I feel bad about it :/ right lol. Lot's of poop lmao. It worked well, as does this shinny new outfit. Are most of these new? I don't recall seeing the trousers before
your mum didn't watch him? Sounds like you got into the relaxing nicely :)
if that's the outfit Paddy is wearing now, that's a dress. I have it, it's one of the fancy Steamworks ones.
Hi. I aten't dead. <3

lol I see. Thats what i get for checking the outfit out on my mobile.
that's a point - I wouldn't want to have to clear out wherever that fish is swimming :P
Most of this outfit is stuff that's been gathering dust in the wardrobe for ages laughs it's and for the 'dusty' items and (which you can barely see) and for the slightly more recent ones (or at least ones used more recently :P)
I can see how you thought it'd be trousers though, as the dress has a slight body mod effect with the leg ;)

Well, she couldn't watch him since we travelled together. :)
I don't think I will be able to match the scones you can buy in the UK either, but I might try baking some. :D Hehe.. Our country is known for being one of the most expensive to live in so you be surprised. ;) Salaries are generally high tho.
I have a nf from Wales actually. I met her too, as she loves visiting Norway and has friends here. I noticed every sign in Scotland were in two languages, a lot of words I wouldn't be able to pronounce! Everyone was really friendly, so I quite like the Scottish people!

it is a nice outfit! I love those old dresses.

they're not as challenging as some things to make ;) Certainly here, prices are going up but salaries aren't keeping pace with it all.
I definitely can't pronounce a lot of the Scottish & Welsh words :P I think I'd just need anything written down phonetically if I needed to say them 😊 although having said that, there's some quirky place names in town here which most tourists get wrong (as they're not pronounced anywhere near how they're written!) ;)
thanks :d I thought it was time I used a few things that hadn't seen the light of day for ages ;)

People are struggling a bit here as well, especially with the high prices on electricity and gas. Food has gotten a lot more expensive too. It is going to be a fun winter.
Hehe.. I noticed that when I was in England! And I probably butchered some names too. ;)

Yeah, energy prices have gone crazy o.O Hopefully it won't be too chilly this winter, so there won't be as much need to put the heating on ;)
If in doubt and you need directions, just point to the place name on a leaflet / map - that's what most of the tourists have done when they ask me for directions (I guess I look like I know the answer!) ;)

it all looked great. As does todays
oh lol well that would make it harder
Niamh insisted on wearing some new Keel Hauliday stuff (good job I was able to RS some things that actually work well together!) ;) I tried adding in the pirate flag but that just didn't look right :P

Yup. lol Thankfully my pet sitter was amazing. Pusur started to get really affectionate with her and greet her at the door after a couple of days. lol She sent me tons of pics and videos.
I know it won't be too long until I have to start using heating. o-o And electricity is my only option. O_O Not looking forward to the bills!
:nods: That is almost better than embarrassingly butchering the English language. :P Someone in our group was very amused that I said "I'll start the soup" when I ordered my starter. lol I think I meant to say "I'll start with the soup". Then it was a discussion about my way of saying it being correct or not. o-o There is an old sketch where someone orders their soup the way I did and the waiter answers something like "I'll do my best". Which I guess is why they found it so amusing. lol

And you can't really just rely on extra jumpers given that Pusur will need the room to be warm for him!
hehe I like to annoy Mum by pronouncing some of the local village names wrong on purpose 😇 hehe well it was close enough for everyone to know what you meant ;) Apparently English grammar is really complicated to learn as a foreign language - certainly when I was learning German and French, I never got the words in the right order for a sentence 😊 :P I think if I was saying I'd have soup for my starter (in a foreign language), I'd just say "soup" and not bother with making it into a proper phrase!

He has thick fur, but cats generally prefers warmer temps than us mere humans do so yes. :)
Hehe.. little things like that can drive people bonkers. 👼
The waiter did not seem to notice or at least care so that is good. I found German grammar to be more complicated, but somehow easier once you get used to the order of words in their sentences. English gave us a lot of rules and then a bunch of exceptions it felt like. :P Learning new words come easier to me than for German though, since I used and heard English so much. :)

I can imagine he has the best spot in front of the heater during the winter? ;)
That definitely helps when you've heard the words more frequently ;) I tried learning sign language, but that has its own unique order for the words, which doesn't match any spoken language (at least not that I know of!) so that made it even more complicated to try and make an understandable sentence!

well it looks great :D I've not gotten lucky yet with vending anything I want lmao but I only did it today so you know.... there's that ;)
aww how sweet
as does your Morostide kitty - is that the start your Halloween month already? ;)
laughs I honestly forgot about vending until yesterday's news announcement :P I'll keep an eye out for the things you've wishlisted as well while I'm attempting to RS anything ;)

It was really sweet to see the videoes. lol Bless his cuddly heart.
His best spot is on my lap or on his blankets that grandma bought him. Both keep him nice and warm too. :D
I can imagine sign language being challenging to learn! I have never tried looking into it myself. I find that when I travel, English is understood most places. ;)
