Good Morning all. I was so tired and sore last night I just went and took a long bath and went to bed after dinner. (it was a late dinner).

Trying to plan dinners for next week, so I can go buy that stuff. Did my walmart shopping this morning (all things except meat, I won't buy meat there but I get just about everything else). Of course the 15yr old is all "I don't know" when I ask what he'd like for dinners. sigh Guess it'll be whatever I pick up then :P

Also just completed my history discussion responses. Now I COULD have a nice little break from schoolwork. I probably will work on my final project this next week tho, and maybe even my next discussion thread too lol I'm just too crazy eh? You would think I would WANT a break - instead I'd rather get it done....

it sounds like you're one of those people who like to keep busy, kat :) There's always something to do if you want to find something! I'm a bit like that too.

I also love crafts though! We had a little company in my town who were doing these creative classes once a month, they were great. They did stuff from brush lettering and modern calligraphy to embroidery, candles and arm sewing. It was so nice to just go somewhere for a couple of hours and learn something new!

I have a cupboard full of paints, cross stitch, craft kits and I just get them out now and again. It's more fun with other people though!

I think it also has to do with the fact for the past, what, 6-8m I've HAD some sort of schoolwork to keep me occupied and so NOT having something to do means I have "free" time and I have no idea what to do with "free" time anymore LOL I used to read for fun a lot more, and play online, here and farmville2. But I've gotten in the routine of quickly getting my activities in those games out of the way so I'd have TIME for schoolwork LOL So now I have extra EXTRA time when I don't have school work :P Good thing I've got years more of schoolwork eh? I wonder what the summer semester will be like....as I'll have to cover the information in half the amount of time. Better or worse for me? At least I'll have all day to work on it instead of just after work hours and weekends - because class starts Jun 1 and ends July 26 (after I get off work for summer break, and juuust as I go back into work for next years school preplanning). Thank you :) I don't feel like I'm really studying so much as just reading a LOT and taking notes. I guess that can count as studying :P But yes, its going well! I have a 96 and a 98 currently in my 2 classes. I sometimes feel like I'm a bit of an overachiever lol like I could have settled for the 80s I got in some of my music listening - but I had the chance to make a better grade - so why not!! [edit] Good Morning all! Last night I worked on my slideshow for history. This morning I worked out a survival list for my youth group for the state meeting lol I have 2 girls that are coming, and I will see if the other 2 are going to come today, I hope. I know they'll have fun if they do come. So I was listing out all the activities they'd be able to participate in, and what they would need to bring. Hmm I forgot swimsuits, but I can write that in. We don't always go to the pool, but pledge girls (the younger ones I have) have more free time than the older ones, so we could probably go to the hotel pool at least once or twice.

Oh gosh you guys, I am SO glad the play is over with. But we actually saw it last night, and it was SO GOOD. Honestly, I was shocked! I watched Ellys major scene again today, and my favorite scene, too. The jitterbug!

Both of them, and their friends, were all so great! Lily's currently at the cast party, Elly is downstairs watching Meet the Robinsons and dying, though :P

Gah. So good. I'm so proud of them!

.. and SO glad it's over. It's been a LONG weekend! Tomorrow is the marching band banquet, and then.. a break. :P A short one, probably.. but.. a break!

I bet you are pooped! Its exhausting when you gotta be go go go and there there there all the time :P I remember with Katie..... she was always way involved in school stuff. The pictures of the girls looked great! I am sure it would have been so fun to be able to watch them!!

Ugh I need 3-4 battle challengers from this month (only trying to get ones I can actually beat). And I need to go see if I need any beanbags from collections from April too. Not enough CSC for it all, I bet.

[edit] Good Morning all. So I bought 3 beanbags, and 2 challengers. Next month I only need 1 beanbag. But I now only have 136 CSC :P My subscription will renew in another day or so, so there is another 250 then tho.

I also realized my history work ethics video presentation notes would pretty much work for my music work ethics paragraphs, hahah so I just have to maybe tweak it a little and then turn it in.

Afternoon! After a busy morning, I had to finish up a couple avatars for a contest I'm in involving groups of the 80's. I chose Motley Crue. :D One of my favs, by far. I LOVED big hair bands!!

Been rewatching Lost. I should probably pick s/thing to read instead, lol.

I read some Harry Potter last night. I could not get into questing. I'm cooking pancakes for dinner cuz that's what the bratling wanted.

[edit] 935pm Well I guess I will now have a good bit more of "free time" I completed my history powerpoint today. Hope the professor thinks its good. - So for history I only have the last module to complete, which isn't open yet to post anything or take the exam. So a forum discussion, two responses, and a test, when it opens up (after spring break for college I guess ) :P In Music I just need to do the Concert Report. I retyped up my notes for the work ethics and submitted it earlier before finishing with the history powerpoint.

Didn't get a lot of sleep last night and to top it off, had horrible dreams. Eyes were on fire this morning. I've got some eye stuff but I don't feel like looking for it right now. (It's called Genteal)

Well this week I have work. So no plans other than chilling at home in the evenings. Next week is MY school's spring break and I do want to try and go visit my daughter in Statesboro (where she goes to college). See her apartment and all before she moves out and into a different one which I'll then have to go see lol Also next week Nathan has an orthodontist visit so that'll be another day of driving (well afternoon). [edit] Oooh prizes. Shelirious did 51,015 total damage! Hydragellos Blub, Dark Mage Amulet, Maniacal Gelatin Goop, A Leftover Piece of Hydragellos, Oozing Vial, Hydragellos Maniacal Plushie Well boo. I thought the plushie was new. Nope. So nothing in the prizes I really wanted or could use except the blub. I fed it to Kayano :P

Chill time is great! Also, visiting daughters are super awesome. :P Mine will be back for the weekend and even though I don't get to see her much of the 3 days she's here, we still get our time in. <3

Oh no. I did minor damage truly. The news post said 207 people did 10million damage or more :o I was in the "1,873 pets who got at least one stab in" group lol (I had an average of about 1k damage per battle, so I did maybe 50 battles?) The prizes are pretty expensive right now, to be fair. Just nothing I'm interested in. (prices will probably drop as more people get on, get them and sell what they don't want. [edit] Oh gosh guys I almost forgot to tell you .... one of the (coughs and deletes bad rude things) - children in my class who needed extra assistance to be able to better deal with learning at school (coughs again)..... is FINALLY getting help. Mom finally got on our page, so did the lady who came in all of THREE times to "interact and observe" the child (and two others)....so this kid is FINALLY going half a day (pm, we will see how that works out) to a "Special needs" preK class....its not special education class, just special needs. AND OMG GET THIS.....this classroom/teacher/para setting has TWO classes - one AM one PM. The AM group has 2 adults, 8 kids. The PM group (that my child is going to go to) HAD TWO KIDS (He will make 3). :o SERIOUSLY? I mean ok I get that it probably had to have people jump thru hoops to get kids into this class like we did, but I excpected more kids than TWO in the class :o He will definitly get the one-on-one time he NEEDS (it takes away so much from the other 21 kids in OUR class when one of US pretty much has to deal with him one-on-one to keep him behaving or at least not getting into EVERYTHING and being DISGUSTING (spitting/snot/ umm other stuff)everywhere.....

Sheesh that's a lot of damage! They must have those really high tier pets. Well, I'm ready for Vesnali and there are LOTS of pretty things to wear this yest!

That kid.... is why I could never be a teacher. What are the hours of the PM class?

I am not sure if they mentioned them to the lead teacher, she is the one who was at the meeting, she did not tell me, I don't think they told her, because all she told me was that he is supposed to eat lunch there, and they'd have to arrange for the bus for him (and we are assuming that means he'll need to go before WE eat lunch at our school, otherwise what's the point of him eating lunch there?) - we eat at 1040am. He will probably also be transported back to our school to ride his normal bus home, so I'm guessing his "PM" hours will be between 11 and 2ish ? Because we dismiss for the bus at 225. Unless they provide bus transport home, but who knows. Those details will be worked out in the next few days, as he doesn't start until after spring break is over.

The craziest part of this kid is that he CAN be a real sweetheart. He's just VERY annoying and aggravating in his behavior in the classroom. Much more babyish than the other kids (VERY immature). Like today for instance, most of the morning he was ok - he sat in my lap during story time and was fairly attentive, talking to me about the story the lead teacher was reading to the group - that one-on-one time. (I mean, he wasn't being super quiet, but he wasn't very loud either and didn't really disturb the group on the carpet - and he was NOT running around the room or throwing toys or dumping books onto the floor (which, yes, he did that the other day).....) Yet later, he was screaming and having a fit because we said he could NOT go play in the kitchen area (it was not playtime, it was still learning time - like calendar, small groups, etc..)

Yeah, it's those "sweetheart" moments that cause my oldest to ho back on her punishment of the brat grandchild of mine which makes him think he can get away with things... b/c he does. I see exactly what she's talking about, but I can also see through the act he puts on to get what he wants. He's also super active, maybe even a little hyper? Don't want to speculate on that.

sweetheart moments are what makes it worth doing the job. But most years are a LOT easier than this year has been. This same kid - sometimes when we tell him NO (no you cant go play there, no you cant take that toy, no you cant have some goldfish, or another snack or whatever) - he tells us "Don't say no...please, don't say no" Its soooo cute and yet so annoying too :P I mean seriously!! If I say no, I mean NO! And if you repeat the no, thats when he starts having a meltdown or a fit. I mean sorry kid, but No does mean NO at school. NO you cannot throw the toy. NO you cannot run around the room, NO you cannot go play when everyone else is sitting on the carpet for storytime..... I mean we do TRY to get him to do something else, instead of saying no - like "come play with this instead" or "sit down over here".... but you know, sometimes you just have to say NO!

I just like it when they behave, lol. It makes me immensely happy b/c it's only less than half the time. (He bit the HELL out of his brothers leg one evening... I was FURIOUS!!)

I was reading the comments under the gelly prizes... 9mil for a surprise box. What tier pet do you need to do that!?

Err, ouch. Naughty boy. Any particular reason he did that? I mean, was he mad at his brother, or just (and yes, some kids just feeeeel like it) felt like doing it?

Umm I dunno? I didn't get a surprise box. I bet its not to do with the tier so much as how much damage you did, (of course, higher tier pets DO do more damage, so its likely it was higher tier pets that battled a lot more that got that item)..... I have a tier 9 battle pet.

Him and his brother are always getting violent with each other, but he, being the younger at 4, takes things to the next level. His brother is 5 about to be 6 is usually pretty chill but the BRAT is one of the worst I've ever seen. They were constantly picking at each other that evening and I got tired of dealing with it and just stayed out of it for awhile when next thing I know, the older one is crying. Brat had left some nasty teeth marks on him that were already bruising up. THAT was a serious bite through jeans!

Wow, t9 I would be more encouraged to battle, but you DO put a lot of effort in your quests and training.

to be fair, i just barely made it to tier 9 back at survivial :P And I did kind of want to battle more, but I also get bored battling, especially when I lose every single time. I like winning, not losing. Even tho I KNEW i would lose, that EVERYONE would lose against Hydragellos, i still dont like losing :P Makes me not want to battle. Also, I like winning in the least amount of turns that I can. If it takes me more than 3-5 turns to beat an opponent, I am so done. I'd rather do easier battles lol

A LOT of kids in my class are violent. Its so aggravating. They are either hitting, pushing, kicking, stepping on someones hand or leg - sometimes they just swing their arms around or kick their feet up in the air - and I swear to you it seems like they are TRYING to hit someone, even tho you wouldn't think they are and that they are just jumping/moving around.... . I mean, we always get SOME who do that, or say mean things or play "guns" but this year the class seems to be FULL of kids like that. I have lost count of how many times I've stopped them from playing guns - they build them out of legos or other toys, you suddenly hear "Pow, bang you are dead" We also hear "so & so said a bad word" a LOT - and over 50% of the time this year if we ask what the bad word was, it actually IS a bad word (some kids will tell us they other said "stupid" or "shut up" or that they were mean, as bad words). One little boy - we had read a story about dreams/dreaming - and we give them the chance to tell us something about the story or something from home similar to the story - this little boy said he dreamed of shooting himself in the head - and pointed his hand (in a gun shape) at his head while he said it :o Obvioulsy we contacted parent as well as the school counselor about that one - and he is the MOST violent child in the class. Worries me sometimes :( These kids are only FOUR and FIVE and should NOT be talking or acting so violently!! :o Its crazy.

I hope this isn't the shape of things to come. That IS crazy.
