Yes but, no one is going to want any of the rest of the stuff LOL.
It needs to be something they can do to help someone or make an impact in the world.
They already do crafts, science, and games each day. :)
Ohhh that's right! All those fun things I totally forgot about. Of course you would know, Kat. ;) I know who I'll come to when I have my grandkids for longer than I'd like. 😂 (the 3 just turned 4yr old is probably one of the worst kids I've ever known... total BRAT. His mom does NOT help with that.)
Sounds like the behavioral teacher has her work cut out for her. It's interesting to learn about the "running parts" of schools, instead of older kids schools where in grade school it's counselors and shit, and then high school you have these - what the hell were they called... career guidance people? Yeah, those are fun. Don't try to make my kid go to your college, dbag. (Yes, I went off on one before mostly b/c I was there for another reason and he just took it upon himself to think that I was there for HIM, and when he led me to his overly specific university decorated room, I was especially irritated. )
Ahhh ok. Planting edible foods is always a valuable resource to save the world. Small herbs or cherry tomatoes in small little plastic containers or even egg cartons.
This may be too much but bring in a bunch of rinsed off trash or gather what's in one of the school baskets and show them the difference in what can be recycled and what can't?
Make an impact with animals? Boards or printouts of various creatures that are under threat of extinction.
Animal adoption agencies. Raise funds for a local no kill shelter with a bake sale or donations.
This may sound kind of funny but they should be taught this - use less electricity. Project boards and small things can help them make an impact on energy consumption.

Make pet treats to donate to a local shelter or vets office? I know there are tons of recipes out there. Littles love mixing things up and making shapes or cutouts.... I don't know what all stuff goes in pet treats tho....and if you could get it.
Haha yea I excell at finding craft activities for 4yr olds. And I love doing them with them. It's so fun to see how even everyone doing the same craft they end up so different.
Yea I thought I knew a lot as a parent. I learned SO much more as a substitute. And OMG the things I've learned as a parapro. I wonder what (if anything new) I'll learn if I become lead teacher :P
[edit] Gelatin Defender Defeat 250 Mini Gelatins in battle! 681 / 1,000 (2,500)
Gelatin Marauder Defeat 100 Gelatin Gliders in battle! 107 / 250 (500)
Gelatin Warlord Defeat a Gelatin Golem in battle! 25 / 50 (125)
I'm slowly building up. I dunno if I can even battle any of the new ones. I only did the turtle 5x with my main battle pet (tier 9)
I got.. uh.. 2 of the wizards. That's it LOL.
Those are great ideas, Taarna!
We already have the kids bring in donations for the local animal shelter every year, and we already recycle.. AND compost! We talk about how the lunch and snack leftovers go home and a pig or goat will eat them. or how if we seperate them, worms will eat them and make good soil for the garden.
We also try to not use the lights all the time, and we turn them off as we go, if we do have to have them on for something.
Hmm.. apparently we're already being fairly good stewards haha.
I love all the ideas, though! They're seriously good ones. The youth group is going to do a walk around the park and pick up trash. But these kids can't do that. We can talk about it, though.
For crying out loud. So my directions say "upload a Microsoft word doc with your link for the video" and I cannot figure out how to upload from the blackboard Microsoft onedrive. I do not have Microsoft products on my computer so have been using the blackboard (school app) products. I can probably just insert the YouTube link directly, and I asked about that. But I have to turn in the power point, which is also on the blackboard onedrive, and if I can't get it to attach/upload how do I turn it in??????? I asked if he (the professor) knew how. 😝
how are we supposed to help if you've already done all our ideas?? Lol!!! Hope you figure out something else to do.
LOL true on the last thing you said, Kat. :P Nice job on the gellies, too. Kinda making me want to get into it. I have gotten a little better at training since adding my pet to the sidebar, like you said you had done. Not s/thing I would've thought of.
My top tier is only a 6.
I have all the MS products on my work laptop but as far as using OneDrive, I have no clue. Openoffice.org has similar products that you can use for free so you don't need MS stuff. I used to use that a lot a long time ago.
Mieke, you guys are doing great with all the stuff you've been teaching them! Wish I had more suggestions but I've got a fuzzy head this morning. Kept waking up to go to the bathroom, and not in a good way. Had the SPICIEST ramen ever last night and boy did that hit me the wrong way.

I know I won't likely complete the achievements this Gelatin War. But maybe next time around. I've been slack about training lately. More focused on school and trying to do quests tho some days those don't get done either. I just need to manage to focus again :P Hard to do right now. Too much going on.
Oldest is off to orientation. Dad took him up yesterday since they called and asked if he could be there this morning to start instead of Monday to start. Heck yea. Go on.
Off to work! See ya'll later.
Oh no, Taarna! :( Hopefullly you feel better soon. Eat some bananas!
And it's my fault, Alex calls me a hippy tree hugger all the time. Two (and a half) years ago, I suggested people bring mugs and cups from home for the after church coffee hour, so we could majorly cut back on the stryofoam. We also started a bucket for the pigs, for pastries people weren't fans of, instead of the trash. The youth group has fires often in the spring and summer, so now they save papers for that. Still trying to get rid of the bullentins, or at lerast make them one page only.. We also lowered the temp in wintter, and raised it in the summer.
Because, if no one wants to listen to anything else.. you can always use "We're supposed to be good stewards of the environment/our health/our money/our whatever" and church people will listen.
You got a forum point while making a post! Check out the shop here!
Well good for you, getting all that good stuff done!! I currently have a yard full of tin cans because my hubby decided he wanted to recycle them. Like 3 39gallon trash bags full. I need to figure out where I can take them and do it myself I guess. [edit] Ack. No way on earth can I do the Stompers. Better news : My daughter came up and surprised me and is staying the night here so we can go to the youth group meeting tomorrow together :D
Ok, I'm up late as hell. My daughter came home tonight and will be here until Sunday but she was worried about her sis in law (not related, thankfully) not being conducive to what SHE, the driver, wants to do. Her sis in law is the biggest troublemaker you will ever meet that has the SWEETEST personality. Like, it's hard not to love her............. BUT........... she's a crazy. She's like 19 or 20, been in juvi multiple times, lost her license a few times although this time it's a tougher sentence - like, omg does this girl have issues. Anyway, I told my daughter I would drink w/ her if she has to drop her off to get rid of her and she teased me about going to bed early. Wellll.... now I'm up late as hell and want to get to the BMV tomorrow and that window is narrowing unless I figure out a hangover cure, lol.
Made wontons/dumplings/whatever tonight in the air fryer. YUM! So good. First batch was a little dried out but the other batches were perfect. Then I tried to make mozz sticks which was a total fail b/c there are crazy steps you have to take for good mozz sticks. Should've just fried them in oil - I use grapeseed oil which makes me worry a whole lot less for the crap oils we consume.
Did a LOT of kitchen cleaning but the fucked up thing is - I could spend another couple hours in there to finish all that I need to do. I don't know and can't pinpoint what happened but I've let things slip sooo bad for the past year that it all just seems so overwhelming now, and even harder to just do one room at a time. (I'm chattering away... I have quite the buzz, lol)

I read up in the best way to use the air fryer for the mozzarella sticks and it says after the first batter, FREEZE them, then redo the process and pop them in. Sheesh. You're right - easier just to fry.

Don't know if I should even bother to attempt the Hydragellos. (did I spell that right? oh well, who cares if I did or not) Back from the youth group. Trying to make up my shopping list for tomorrow morning. [Edit] 650am. Wow guys. I slept in til 630. Might have slept later if the stupid dog had not been whining to go outside and pee. 😝 Fought the hydragellos a few times. I can hit him with an avg 1k damage but he kills me every time. (Naturally).
Finished my reading portion of music. Now working on my first attempt at the listening portion. Need to start reading for this week's history too. Blah. [edit] Ok finished my first attempt at music listening - got an 82% (828/1000 points). Ugh. Not terrible. But I will be redoing it and seeing if I can get better. Also struggling to figure out how to be able to submit my powerpoint in history as the teacher never said anything. I wonder if I DL it to my computer, even tho I don't have microsoft products, if it will let me upload it, since I am able to upload from my computer, but NOT from the school app thingy i used to create it. I hate having to figure out technological stuff like that. [edit] 3/28 640am I am assuming everyone else is having a horrible time with the pages loading. I didn't even bother to try my quests yesterday. I did work on my powerpoint (tho not any closer to figuring out how to post it to the professor yet). AND I read my chapter. Need to write out my discussion and take the quiz still (and the responses, after thursday) :P [edit] 9pm Its me again Margret (ok sorry ... you guys may not get that reference LOL) But yea - its me again. ;) I finished my history discussion and posted it. Quiz not available yet. Redid my music, now have a 93% in listening. Got a 100 on the quiz for that music module. Don't feel like questing. :(
I must, I must, I must increase my bust!
I see your reference, and raise mine.
Sorry, yeah, the lag was SO awful. I basically just did my bathhouse and uh.. that's it. :(
YAY for a 100 on your quiz, though!
LOL - that quote is familiar, but I cannot place it :P
Went to Family Night Dinner for the youth group. Nathan stayed home. It was nice but I hate that it starts at 7pm, because then I am there til at least 8pm (and longer if I help clean up, today they said NO You go home!), and its a 20-25min drive. (Not terrible but meh when you're tired). plus I had to stop at the dollar general and get trash bags on the way home :P Thank goodness thats like less than 5min from my house. So today was a LONG DAY. Had a sub, 21/22 kids present. 2 very aggravating ones today. Then Nathan had a dental apt (regular cleaning, in town thank goodness). So didn't get HOME until like 430ish? Then the youth group dinner. Yah. I'm POOPED.
Aaaand my bathhouse got reset yesterday. today was day 1. again.
[edit] Good Morning everyone! Have a great day!
Ugh, what a day, Kat! :( At least there weren't any... super accidents?
Also, it's from Are you there God? It's me, Margaret! :P
Morning!
After the bad lag on Monday the week just kinda poofed by me. Getting a little stir crazy.
Took off yesterday to enjoy the warm weather and ended up sleeping half the day. Oh well. More warm days ahead, eventually.

Hi everyone! My parents were due to move at the beginning of the week so I had been all hands on deck with them but it got cancelled so things have calmed down a bit. I have an essay to write now though :( haha, getting started is so hard but I'm determined to make a start this afternoon.
It's snowing here in the UK, nothing is staying on the ground but it was 18C last week and today it is 2C!
Hope you are all doing well and having good subeta time! Kat, it sounds like you are doing well with your studies! Taarna, the lag had me too! I wish I had better weapons for getting hydrellos but i've given up now, I can only do about 1k damage at a time so 15 mil is way off for me 😆 Mieke, your HA is looking so cute today!
