I thought maybe you'd like to see my newest felting project. It's a work in progress, so it's looking rough, but I'm sure you'll recognize the character :) I plan to work on him more today.

Ongoing is mine study of HAs without a human component. I bought at the token shop. I may use that next.

Mine own dragon model is getting somewhere, I had reworked the arms to better fit when folded down. Though it's head needs further tinkering. Some other ideas occured about filling some open spots. Mine does recognize it...not quite how I imagined it.

He will look better once I get the mohawk on the head and the rest of the body will follow. Do you have a picture of your dragon? I have a dragon I need to finish as well. I'm going to a ren faire this weekend, and I want to have it sit on my shoulder!

I'll try, but I'm running on a slowed connection. I can't guarantee it'll be up today. I may as well work on it now, I have plenty of time before I need to go out.

Nail polish is a wonderful thing for that because it sparkles so well. I get most of my wool from a magical place in Tx that carries so many yummy colors. I've been felting for many, many years now. And just over the past couple of years, I've discovered wet felting and 2D portraits (just made a memorial cat portrait for a friend). Some projects are quick (I can make a gnome in less than 2 hours), and most others are very time-consuming. I have an ice dragon that I have easily poured 50 hours into it. It's over 3 feet long with a 2 1/2 foot wingspan. Was planning to sell it, but 2 years later she still sits on my shelf LMAO. My current project has maybe 8 hours put into it so far. This includes learning some wiring that I'm going to put in the tail to make the tip of it glow like fire. The more detail a piece has, the more time-consuming it can get lol. i crochet mostly blankets lately especially when i have Nervous Energy and don't feel like gardening :). I make them for all the girls friends as they love them here on movie nights(we have a HUGE scteen for them(it is on a stand like the ones in school. This last one i just finished is a wierd work of art..kinda wished i would have done a regular blanket as this one i named Surf. I name them all hahha. It is shades of blue with white frothy layered adges. It is oval to round and very heavy for one person weighted blanket snuggle up :). I want to work with fall colors next and already have someone in mind for it

awww whats up..looks around ready to beat up the problems Hope it is something that will pass on it's own!? I am doing pretty good. My extremely close friend Duane has just lost his adult daughter to a violently as a car running her over at 55 mph right out of his hand after crossing a street..is HORRID.

i let it play for pretty long..good background music for me..since i dont know the small worded segments i don't have to sing along hahah.
