Ah, to be an adult...

The new tire, installation, and whatnot cost me about $200, three hours wait, and thus drained for the month. The semester begins next Monday, and at least the details are taken care of. I still don't know the date of the online lecture, but I know the first shop is Saturday. Mine excited some, to take this. I also know this is the last easy course, I'll need to speak to a counselor to determine what to take next.

i sm doing very well :) am happily croching 3D blankets for daughters new friend(as most of all their earlier long time friends.)...i dug many larger floert plants into the my garden and it feels good to see them. I used to buy the small ones and had to wait to see them do ANYTHIN so now i ploped in LARGE ones:) Hey i love your HA it looks like you are sitting on the tiger!..i saw the item and wondered how i could usre it/

I can see how they would be drawn to you. ❤ And it is oh so important for kids to have someone to listen, truly listen, especially if they don't have a positive support system anywhere else. So many kids just want to be heard, and seen, and to feel like they are seen as a person.

ya one of my KIDS her fucked up mother moved to Europe when she was still in HS!!!! Hasnt ever come back. Got married over there and will not return to even VISIT her daughter here, That hurt so deeply i feel really attached to her.

Now how messed up is that???? So glad they have you to show them they are loved, and not only seen, but heard as well.

The next to final attempt of the water dragon. I would like to make one last modification to the head before considering this complete. I'm certain the recipient will love the model, and I look forward to what she can do to give the character depth.

Well, my student schedule is available now, and with it I should be able to buy my books on Monday. Though I'm still uncertain about the first online class. The current information states TBA for date and time, I suppose this will be revealed on the first shop day.

I'll spend a day getting my tools and materials ready for the start of the semester. I may not be able to make cactus fruit sorbet before classes, though I still have every intention of doing so.

I really like the head, you did a great job on it! I'm working on 2 projects at once, in between my jobs and such. I have next week off though. I'm looking forward to some downtime!

I'm hoping to finish the angel tomorrow. fingers crossed I need to have it done by the weekend! The wings are completed and I have the head started. I just have to wet felt the gown and make the body.

A few details, and finished. I'll be relieved with this finale, the magnum opus being Zero and Adna. I'll put some pressure on the artist about my commission. Nine months is a lot of time without progress.

Honestly, I want my figure back, and I don't give a damn about the commissioned art.

Wow, 9 months is a very long time to wait. But to be honest, this is why I don't like commissions on either side. I don't like the pressure of having to produce something in a set amount of time. Especially since I already have 3 other jobs plus a volunteer position on an active board. I also don't like waiting LOL! My current angel is my own self-commissioned piece since we are putting together a care package at work and the organizer wants it by Monday! I should be able to get most, if not all of it complete by the end of today, although, I have a class to teach at 9, then I have grading to do (students are presenting case studies this morning), and then I have a mailing to get out today for my volunteer work. So much to get done!! :)
