It wasn't so difficult, changing the pickups on my bass. Considering it's a passive type, the wiring is relatively simple. However, I'm unable to properly test the instrument now. It seems the batteries for the tuner and headphone amp need to be a higher quality, and the headphones I brought are not stereo. So I have to wait to see if my naughty lady can sing again.

This can at least set the stage for the prospect of reviving me old shortneck bass. Pickups and strings on her...

Yes and no, I have two basses but I lost practice when my first copy of Rocksmith on PS3 stopped working. Also my shortneck hasn't been used for several years. If this works out I can practice on PC Rocksmith.

ya no matter where i am from i am all american now! like i said i was 5 when i came over here. i had to look that up . it said it was actually one of the quickest way to learn to play! COOL. i have an like 4 guitars 2 accoustical and one classical and 1 mini travelers. i would play in the halls with friends in high school..gently not loud hahaha..the accousticals are just have narrower neck making it easier to maneuver hand and finger around it. Bass tells the beat and depth of the songs!

Another long, hard, hot, far off day job for me...that will require a second pass. Also my sister has asked I go to her house to begin cleaning her garage. I may have to bring up the beginning of the semester is coming, and I may have to turn down any further work.

On another tangent, my oldest Chihuahua has given birth while I was out, she's under my bed apparently still undergoing afterbirth. I'll be keeping an eye on her, and will update on her litter.

[Edit] She had four, three solid tan, one dark brown with tan highlights. For now still under my bed, but in a pet bed. I won't look for gender just yet, I want to better accommodate for them. If possible I try to post a shot, when the time comes.

The approach is simple, but I need to get some practice on to a few small spots before attacking the problematic area. I have a feel that more than shingles need replacing.

Oh yeah! I remember a car insurance ad where a guy says he didn't order mayonnaise on his sandwich; so the waitress takes the bread, scrapes it on the table edge, and puts the bread back on. The voiceover states, "You don't have to sacrifice good service for a low price."

I... forgot about the game. But my heavy bass selections are Hysteria by Muse, Radical Testa by Resorte, and Dead battery by Pitchshifter. ( I also recommend To Die is Gain, but isn't available on its own.)

[Edit] My patchwork on my house's roof was easy, but the bigger problem is an area next to my A/C. The shingles are obvious, but the material below is rotting. I'll inform my father about the complications, the process is different in this case.

I watch this show maine cabin masters because i like the group of friends and the cabins are all on lakes in the woods..i want to live in them. when i was young i lived on a lake and had boats. we would waterski all the time and take the boat out with friends taking theirs out too. Now i doubt that goes on anymore and i guess rightly so..we had no rules and noone to set them out on the lakes..it was realllly dangerous hindsight. Lost a couple of friends that way

,,,,BUT what i was GOING to say haha..is the shows show alot of time when they are thinking of a fix..the rot temites or carpenter ants change the whole plan. What do you do in that case? Do YOU have to fix it??Seems like way to much work!

Resorte is in Spanish. I just listen to the bass, that's a technique I want to learn.

I wouldn't know much about dealing with ant or termite damage. My house is brick and mortar, with only the roof made from wooden rafting.

Mine going out today for car service that I cannot do myself. I blew out a tire yesterday, the damage requires a replacement. I'm scheduled for 13:00 local time.
