Asked for: Seaweed and Toast Magical Corn Kernel

Browser: Firefox ESR 52.6.0 (32 bit)

How it happened: I went to Shop Search and bought the Seaweed and Toast from a user shop, the Corn from an NPC shop. The site lagged a bit when I tried to buy the Corn (the Buy button stays light blue in an enternal purchase). I refreshed the shop search page and saw the "an error purchasing this item occurred" notification, but had no problems buying the Corn a second time. I backspaced back to the quest page, refreshed the page in hopes I might ensure a glitch wouldn't happen, clicked Finish Quest, saw it start to hang up and thought "oh no". I clicked the "x" to make the page stop loading in the hopes I could avoid turning them in completely, backspaced to the "Finish Quest" page/button, and selected "Finish Quest" again. It told me I didn't have the items and I don't think I got credit for the quest.

I went and re-bought the items, and completed the quest successfully.

I had 70 items in my inventory, nothing close to the limit.

Not sure if this goes here, but Maj. Drills has asked that I play slots until I get the book.

I have this bit of code in my custom css box... input[value="Spin again!"] {position:absolute !important; center:15px !important; top:15px !important; }

This gives me a button to play slots that is centered at the top of the page. I've had this for quite a few years.

While playing slots around 1:22 PM 8 May 2019 subeta time, the screen went blank. The only things on the screen to show that I am playing slots is the left top corner where it says Slots, High Scores, and Back to Games.

Under that it says...The current jackpot is 29340 sP! The rest of the screen is blank. The odd thing is that the clock above the High Scores/Back to Games has stopped at exactly 1:22:21 PM when the glitch occurred.

Clicking on Slots gets me back into the beginning of Slots and the clock is running normally.

OKAY SO I did finally experience this exact glitch with my items being eaten, so here's a report!

1. Which quest giver and items: -- The Wizard, asked for Silver Cosmic Corset and Maybel Trading Card
2. How did you obtain the items?: -- Both bought from NPC shops. When I had tried to purchase from user shops I repeatedly got the "purchase failed" error, even after refreshing the page. When I purchased from the NPC shops I got a blank page, and I also got a blank page when turning in the items for the quest. I'm pretty sure the purchases were successful from the NPC shops and that the quest ate the items, as the availability count for both of the shops when I had to re-purchase the items was lowered by exactly 1.
3. Approximate time: -- 2:40pm
4. How many items are in your inventory, and are you over your inventory limit? : -- 49 items, so no.
5. Any other information that may be relevant: -- It seems I now have 9 20-Point Wizard Tokens in my inventory even though I've only completed 8 Wizard Quests at the time of this report (and started with no tokens in my inventory before questing).

Sorry to ping directly, but I also wanted to bring up something I'd forgotten about! I actually had a similar issue with The Rift eating an item, but then allowing me to try again with a different item. I didn't think I had been rewarded for the first item that I'd thrown in, but looking at my inventory now, I think I was rewarded a second copy of an item I already had, which is why I missed it initially. Unfortunately I don't remember the exact date/time (I believe it was either yesterday or the day before) but the item that was eaten was a Treasure Map piece (although I don't remember which, sorry!). Let me know if I should make a separate report!

For example: did you buy them from another user's shop, did you remove them from your own shop/gallery Green Eco-Friendly Canvas Tote - through user shop Plastic Feli Keychain - from main shop The first time I tried to purchase the tote (from a user's shop, though I didn't pay attention to which one), the purchase failed due to an "unknown error." This did not happen during the two subsequent tote purchases.

3. Approximate time (in Subeta timezone - that is, the clock in the site header) that you got the quest 3:01p

4. How many items are in your inventory, and are you over your inventory limit? started with 17, ended with 19 (6 locked, 100 max)

5. Any other information that may be relevant: for instance, if you gained items or prizes that the quest did not tell you about, if you know of a specific loss in sP amount, if you got a quest point from it somehow, etc I was rewarded an extra wizard token, from the first time I attempted to complete the quest and got the white page? I deleted it.

Quentin just stole my items. I went to turn in the quest and it lagged out and I got a 504 error. When I refreshed they told me I was missing both items.

9:02 AM Golden Caterpillar, bought from a user shop. Atebus Map, taken out of my vault.

Bought another golden caterpillar, took another atebus map out of vault and they let me turn it in. Only 38 items in inventory.

It seemed like it got better for me today.

All these honest hardworking people having so much trouble in their daily quests, we should totally be rewarded with another quest-a-thon because I need another pet slot cough ~

JKJK it seems it got better today for me too, at least I'm halfway my quests and no more glitches, great job guys.

This seemed to have been fixed and I've been cruising along doing my quests, but it just happened again.

Maleria's quest requested and . I bought both from NPC shops. When I purchased the Beryl, the page glitched and loaded most of the page but the part that should have shown what I purchased was blank. Not sure if it went through, I reloaded the page, but it was still blank, so I hit the back button and purchased it again from the shop search page...that time it loaded correctly. Then I purchased the Harvester Cloak and it loaded fine. I checked my inventory before turning anything in to see how many Beryls I ended up with...I had three Beryls and one Cloak. So all the blank purchases actually were successful. I then turned in my items to Maleria and got a fully-blank white page. Upon reloading, it had taken the items but the quest was not completed, saying I lacked the Cloak. As I had happened to verify my inventory first, I know this was in error. After purchasing another Cloak and successfully completing the quest, I now have only one Beryl left, so it definitely took one of those too during the error.

Not particularly concerned about the loss of the cheap items, just reporting that this is still/again happening, in case it was considered resolved.

Win10/Opera

I don't know what to call this, but I think it's related to the quest problem.

I keep going to do things and then finding out that they've already been done.

For example, I finish a battle, and then I go to start another battle, and I am told I am already in a battle. This is not the same one I just finished - it's a new one.

I get a notice that it's time for me to play mallarchy pond again, so I go to the link and there are all the ducks floating in the pool, but when I try to click on one, I'm told I've already just played.

Most recently I tried to complete a Mori quest (within the last five minutes), and when I go to submit, I'm told I don't have the items, and then I try again and I'm told I'm not on a quest. I'm sorry I didn't catch the items this time, but I think one of them was a Nuclear Noktoa Beanbag if that helps, and this quest was part of the Shinwa sequence.

P.S. It's also possible that this is a problem with my own hardware - I've been having mouse issues lately and maybe mine is double clicking without my wanting it to? But I figured I'd let you know in case it's not originating with me.

Update: Okay, so this is definitely not all on my wonky mouse. Just now (~2:09 am) I was in a Battle Quest battle, and when I finished I went back to Battle Quests and was assigned a new opponent (Fish Breath Jacques), but when I went to battle them, I was told I was already in a (new) battle with my previous opponent (Meatslab, the Resting). I definitely didn't click on anything in that sequence of pages that would have put me in another battle with Meatslab. Also, I decided to finish the second battle with Meatslab, and it again directed me to Battle Quests and it acted like that completed my Level 17 battle, even though that was the battle that should have been assigned to Fish Breath Jacques. I progressed to Level 18 with a completely different battle opponent (Slavam).

I've long suspected my mouse has been having issues, so it could be part of a mouse problem, but it doesn't really explain what happened last night with the battle quest, when I wouldn't have had an opportunity to double click anything to put me back in a battle with the previous opponent.

I've taken my mouse out of commission this morning, so we'll see if it still happens. :) Also, I'm using Chrome Browser Version 74.0.3729.131.

after not using the mouse for about a week, I haven't noticed any more double clicking issues, so it appears that it was a hardware error. Still don't understand the Battle Quest thing, though I guess there was a double click or two in there somewhere. :)
