Yeah this happened a few times, luckily with cheap items but still.

Saggitarius took and , but told me I didn't have the Tee; I'd bought 3 of the Balls and now there is only 1 in my Inventory. So he ate both items.

I just got this. I was on a Quentin quest, had both items, then was hit with a 504 error. When I refreshed the page, Q said I didn't have either item, and sure enough, they were gone from my inventory.

Been having this issue yesterday and today, and it does seem to be related to lag of some kind. Usually I'll go to buy an item and if I wait the 15-20 seconds for it to properly process I'm fine but sometimes it doesn't process at all and I have to refresh and buy the item again in which case I do get the glitched item thing. Kinda making questing a pain ):

Today, it happened a couple times again. Same thing, where it consumed my items, gave me an item reward (not sure about sP), and then asked me to turn in the items again, for another sP + item reward. However, after this happened, when I went to turn in the items for the NEXT quest, it would say "you are not on a quest," even though it had clearly assigned me one, so I end up with extras of the items that I had purchased for the quest. Strange.

I just now got Error 504 and my quest item was gone.

Just happened to me today with my 7th and 10th Drunk Carl quests. I'm using Google Chrome with Windows 10.

The site was laggy, so it could be that. I bought the items, hit the "Finish Quest" button, then waited. I waited for a while and it wasn't loading, so I pushed the button again. At that point it told me I didn't have the items.

It happened to me today on both Carl and Pete quests. At first I thought I miscliked and forgot to buy the items, but it kept happening, so it's looking like this same glitch. I don't mind when it's less expensive items (it's still a bother, but not something terrible)... but I'm a bit afraid of doing Saggi's quests today, to be honest.

This has happened on me on Carl, Cursed, Library, and Pete quests. On Google Chrome with Windows 8.1

Same here, get blocked in quest

Keeps happening to me every so often, much more frequent today. Quickstock also flipped out, lagged heavily and 504'd. Long loading time while quickstocking even smaller numbers of items has been happening on and off for weeks for me (approx since Survival).

I've also noticed that user shop purchases tend to hang and not go through, lagging for ages and then giving me the "An unknown error occurred" message with the purchase not going through. When I try to submit a quest while that's happening, the quest page is more or less guaranteed to lag heavily, eat the one item I did manage to buy, then give me the "oh no you are missing all of the quest items!" message.

Main shop purchases tend to get stuck loading, then throw a 504.

I also bought items for a quest, the items disapeared and the quest came up with error. I have had to re buy the items to complete the quest.

its happened 4 times in the last hour user shops are lagging really badly

I just did my Shinwa quests and this issue happened on nearly every quest, so obviously I'm not playing any more until I know the issue is fixed. My quests were Wizard, Pete, Library and Carl. There also seemed to be several instances where I thought I had bought the item (and got the confirmation screen from the NPC shop) and then when I went to turn the item in I still didn't have it and had to buy it again from the store.

I'm using Chrome, MacOS High Sierra.

This is happening to me a lot

Happened to me just now, got a blank page when clicking to finish the quest, refreshed and got the items still needed error, so I had to get them again >-<

The purchased items disappear and I have to buy them again. It isn't so bad on cheap items but I had to buy 3 Twilight Kora Plushie (~53K sP) and 3 Glade Torrent Plushie (~68K sP) to finally complete the Saggitarius quest because they disappeared twice!

I ran into something that might be related to this? Just a few moments ago I tried to buy something from a user shop. After stalling for several seconds, I got the prompt that my purchase had failed because of an unknown error. Yet when I checked my inventory, the item I had "failed" to purchase was there. (I didn't think to check my onhand sP to make sure the right amount was deducted; also I hope whoever I purchased the item from got their sP.)

If this might be related to the problem everyone here's reporting, I can try to pay more attention next time I'm doing quests or buying items and see if I get that result again. Hopefully provide some more information. Unfortunately I can't replicate that on purpose - it just seems to happen occasionally for no clear reason!

Still getting this glitch. A 504 error with Cinthia quests. She's taking the items, but not rewarding me.

When you do a quest and try to buy, but can't, get a blank page or it lingers till you're blue in the face and it still says you don't have it and you're stuck in the quest...all that annoying, but when it is an expensive like Saggi quest and you see you bought it 2-3-4 times and loose a whole bunch of sP (let alone the lower rates now!) it is beyond annoying!! So as frustrating it might be for you trying to fix it, think of us too, when we're cranky and pissed!!

It's super frustrating to buy the items ---> get message saying "You don't have these items" ----> Buy said items again ---> get message "You aren't on a guest" ---> you just bought the items twice because the glitch/bug/whatev lied to you! Rude
