Happened to me the other day at the Mage also. That one was super frustrating!

Any other information that may be relevant: for instance, if you gained items or prizes that the quest did not tell you about, if you know of a specific loss in sP amount, if you got a quest point from it somehow, etc Did not get credit for quest or any prize/sp. I waited around 5 minutes before attempting to buy the items again just to see if maybe I gave it some time it would fix itself but it did not. Ended up having to buy items over again.

Buying from user shop. Did not reload or rebuy the blazer - checked inventory and it was there. Completed the quest as normal.

Quest-- Drunken Carl's Quest

Time -- Approx 3:30pm

Items -- Asked for Basic Survival Kit and Hard Dough Bread.

I removed a Hard Dough Bread from one of my galleries. Shop search never loaded for Basic Survival Kit, so I refreshed the search. After purchasing the Basic Survival Kit, I clicked "Finish Quest" and received the error message: "Oh No! You don't have all the items required for this quest! You are missing: Basic Survival Kit and Hard Dough Bread"

Both items have disappeared from my inventory.

I currently have 93 out of 250 items in my Inventory.

I just tried to purchase the items again (approx 3:39pm) and was able to purchase the Basic Survival Kit this time, but had issues with the bread--

In the Shop Search, I tried to buy Hard Dough Bread from Rathskeller Inn, but the transaction wouldn't go through. After spinning for a little bit, it took me to a 504 error:

Another update (approx 3:48pm)-- I now see an extra Hard Dough Bread in my inventory. I'm not sure why; it wasn't there earlier when I had to re-purchase the bread.

Asked for: Grape Gummy Worms Pink High Tops

Browser: Firefox ESR 52.6.0

How it happened: I bought the items - grape worms through Shop Search from the NPC shop, High Tops from a user shop. Backspaced back to the quest, clicked Finish Quest, it lagged and then I got a 504 error page. I backpaged, hit refresh on the quest page, and it says Oh no you don't have the items for this quest!

The only other items in my inventory at the time were five 20 point Wiz Tokens and five locked items. I was nowhere near the item limit.

When I then go to my inventory, the quest items are not in there and I didn't get credit for the quest.

I went back to shop search, bought the same items again, fulfilled the quest and it gave me a 15 point token (as expected, given that it took me a few minutes to write out the details for this post).

Edit @ 4:52 pm: I see a pair of Pink High Tops in my inventory now that weren't there before. I didn't buy a new pair, and didn't get any as a quest reward. They sit between the 20 point Wizard Tokens and the 15 Point Wizard Token, and since I have my inventory sorted by when I obtain the items, I'm all but certain it's the pair that originally glitched out appearing again after the fact. Interestingly, the grape worms didn't reappear.

Did not gain anything for it. Page lagged then when it finally loaded it said that I did not have the items to complete the quest...

Just one quick question, it has to do with this error, so it has to belong here: how or where are we getting back the items we submit 2-3 times, so we won't wait the 30 minutes till quest is over?

You...don't get them back, I don't think. I've had one item show back up later after probably 20-30 items lost through quest glitching since this started? And I was shocked to see it. By that I mean, if one of the items shows up, you're lucky, but I wouldn't count on it. At this point, the glitch is a cost sink.

Yeah...I kinda knew that, more of a rhetorical question, but entitled, IMHO. Thanks for answering ;)

I was doing wizard quest around 6pm

Don't remember what I bought but they were both from usershops

4 items in my inventory; 3 locked

Bought the items, clicked to finish quest, lagged, got an error, refreshed, said I still needed items for quest (even though I DID buy them, so they disappeared), bought the item again, successfully completed the quest and was rewarded 15 point wiard token.

Unlike others, I believe I DID earn a 20 point wizard token before the error, and a 15 point wizard token after. (for the same quest)

Using Windows 10, browser: Firefox Quantum 66.0.4 (64-bit)

Quest giver was Sarah, at around 08:00 PM, Subeta time. She asked for , I got a 405 error and the page never loaded. I lost my item and got no rewards.

1. Shinwa asked me to do a quest for Pete to get back the 2d part of her bracelet.

Pete asked for Pine Nuts (~ 14K sP)

2.Bought from a user's shop.

3.The time was around 5:30 - 5:40 AM subeta time...maybe a few minutes earlier...8 May 2019.

4. I had 25-30 items in my inventory at the time.

5. When I tried to turn in the pine nuts, I got a blank page. Refreshing the page just made Pete say that I didn't have the item. I left that page and went to Shinwa's page and used the link on that page to go back to Pete's quest page where he was still asking for the Pine Nuts. I bought a second one and completed that quest and the rest of Shinwa's quest without any more glitches. I use Chrome for my browser.

2.Bought the Twilight Demi Beanbagfrom a user's shop. Used the account search "remove one" feature to pull the Saillu from my gallery

3.The time was around 6:00 - 6:05 AM subeta time...8 May 2019

4. I had 75-80 items in my inventory at the time.

5. Tried to turn in the items but got a 504 error page. Refresh just had the wizard asking for the same items. By the time I was finished with the quest, I got a 15 point wizard token but I believe I also got the 20 point wizard token when the glitch occurred because at the end of all 15 quests I have a total of 365 tokens instead of the usual 350 tokens.

I don't know if it helps, but after having this bug happen to me multiple times over the past week, I've decided to slow down my questing. By which I mean, I make sure that each item is purchased properly (on shop search getting the message of completion) and clicking turn in, then allowing the quest completion page to load completely. The main fix seems to be making sure I actually have the items purchased though. The problem doesn't happen when buying from main shops, but if I hit turn in before the purchase goes through from a user shop on the shop search page, the entire quest turn in will go wonky and I'll have to rebuy both items, since they got eaten. Or sometimes I get the 'missing (all) items' error, wait a bit and it'll be fine like nothing happened. If that last thing happens, btw, I find that not going back to the quest giver directly, but going through another page makes it turn in after all. Somehow.

It probably doesn't make any sense, but I think it might have to do with going too fast and overloading something? I dunno. Either way, if you're getting this problem a lot, just slow down, I guess. It hasn't happened to me since. :x (Latest version of Chrome, Win10.

3.The time was around 9:55 - 10:00 AM subeta time...8 May 2019

4. I had 9 items in my inventory at the time.

5. Tried to turn in the items but got a white page. Refresh just had Nori asking for the same items. The 2 items Nori wanted were gone but I had 2 new items in my inventory. Re-bought the 2 items Nori wanted and got an additional 2 items in return, but Nori is only counting it as one quest done.

1- Sagitarius quest, he asked for and

2- Socks were bought from user shop and the headscarf from NPC.

3- TIme was10:28 AM Subeta time, today.

4- 44 items on hand.

5-Got a 504 error. Items were taken, but no reward was given.

I just had this happen again, but it worked a little differently this time.

1. Wizard (Blonde Sideburns, something else); quest number 7 of 10
2. Sideburns were purchased from NPC shop, not sure of other item
3. Approx. 10:27am
4. Approx. 30 items - not over inventory limit
5. I was rewarded with a 20 Point Wizard Token for the quest despite the quest saying I had not completed it. Upon repurchasing the items, I was able to complete the quest again, effectively giving me a bonus Wizard quest without a buff.

The issue seems to be improved compared to what it was (where it was happening on every quest), but is not yet resolved. Thanks for working on this!

Had this happen just now;

Library quest asked me for Bombtastic Feli Stories book. Bought book from a user shop, turned in quest. Got a 504/cloudflare error after the page took ~30 seconds to load. Went back to home @ subeta.net, navigated back to Library quest. Said quest had not been completed, went to turn in item. Said I did not have item. Rebought item and turned in the quest again, this time it went through.

Windows 10, latest Chrome version.

I haven't actually had any errors up until now once was on the case, thankfully, but it cropped up and it's not quite the same as it was so I figured I'd post anyway.

carl's quest at aprox 11.27/11.37am Cordless Telephone Onion both bought from user shops. both in my inventory at time of clicking 'finish' blank page when trying to finish quest no sP reward - quest items missing from inventory - new Mandrake Root in inventory - Carl's quest tally still at 8/10 in widget 25/100 items in inventory at time of clicking 'finish' (including 2 requested quest items)

i opened new tabs with each purchase and when i reopened Carl's quest page (instead of just refreshing blank page). Carl still asking for same items. waited a few minutes to see if items showed up again as some have said they have but no luck so bought again, and quest finished fine this time with Sp reward and Green Headset. not sure about the quest points as i wasn't counting where i was up to with those.

i've also been going slower tonight, refreshing inventory after acquiring quest items before finishing, and only buying from a shop once the page has fully loaded and when no other tab is loading. no problems with Wizard's quests, or quests for Shinwa, no glitches while purchasing items so far, just the blank page one so far.

chrome, windows 8.1 edit: when checking which version of chrome i had after the glitch it has updated to Version 74.0.3729.131 (Official Build) (64-bit)

edit edit: (@ aprox 12.04 - 25ish items in inventory) i must've jinxed it coz i just got a 'Your most recent purchase failed. An unknown error occurred.' error when purchasing Purple Razor from a usershop for Cinthia's quest - but the purchase must've gone through because it was in my inventory before completing quest, and quest completed successfully.
