Yeah, I also think that transforming it again and again for different pets would be quite taxing.

That would literally be my dream come true 😄. It's been a while since we last had a CS scaling opponent that gives out excellent weapons or scrolls. I don't know how many Sandreavers are still active on the site but I'd love to see a full ice block godly released. So far we've got only the Unstable Sample Syringe and Malhuili that partially blocks ice. I'm not sure what experienced battlers' verdict of Syringe and Mal is, or whether or not it's worth paying 1 bil for Mal, or I'll be good with other options. I haven't been able to make a decision.

[edit] Yeah I thought better of it. I'd save my CSC for challengers. I'm missing the whole last row and Amy too so it might not really be worth it to complete the collection.

Haha, well I know I've enjoyed using my Malhuili since I won it, but it's also probably one of the better weapons that I have in general since I haven't been able to afford a lot of other stuff yet. I'm not sure whether or not it would be worth it if you already have a lot of other nice weapons, especially since it only partially blocks ice and light like you said.

I'm still lacking light and ice defence so both the Syringe and Mal are worth having. I'm just discouraged by the price tag for the Mal 😄

Yeah, true. Is it really going for 1 billion? That seems like a lot, but then I don't remember exactly how many were given out, so it makes sense I suppose.

I haven't used my Mal at all... I should play with it some more. The panzer hydra gauntlet seems fun too, I'm just so set in my ways.

Yes, it was going for around 1 bil, give or take a hundred million. I just want to squeeze in as many purchases as possible within what limited sP I've got, since there are 4 icon types that I want to be covered. But never mind me 😄. It's a limited weapon after all. I feel discouraged but I can't fault anyone for asking for that price :D

Maybe we'll have another battling event with a new weapon soon-ish, or hopefully there will be something nice during this year's monthly CS challengers like you said.

I'm going through and trying to get some more wins on challengers I've neglected for a bit, I don't know how much progress I'll really make though.

Thanks! I think I'm probably done for now though, I've got 5-10 wins on everything up through the extremely hard challengers. I still need to work on increasing my pet's stats before I take on more of the impossible challengers, I think.

- oh is that your secret? :-) Just like in battling though, you have to be persistent to be there to get lucky - and you're doing a great job so far. And good to hear you got a good enough deal on that second trident that the bobbleheads coming back won't cost you (I was wondering whether that would be a problem for you).

Any time you really need light defense, you're welcome to borrow the core. And Large Gutting Knife also blocks light (although not that reliably - more like 1 out of every 4 times).

- that makes sense. I am definitely stopping at four - as much fun as I am having with 81, for me that's already about 1/2 pet too many. I really only wanted one pet. The others before 81 were all made when I had to (rather than wanted to) to comply with some Subeta event or plot. Then once I have them, I feel the need to feed/train them. And, of course, it turned out to be nice to be able to get multiple loot drops and to play in different tiers. :-)

- the blessed trident really doesn't block enough wind below T10, at T9 it's still only 10 or 15 if SubetaLodge is right (I'll have to go look next time I use it, I never remember these things).

Ah, I see why you think this will happen faster, when I said no boosting, I meant none - not even with EXP. I was trying to train her all the way to T13 and then boost when things are expensive, but I know that I'll need to use EXP at T12 due to increased cost after that. With that said, I wonder if she'll ever get to T12 or if I will eventually have to give up and do something else sooner. I think I tried to approximate it once and came up with about 20 more years. :-) I can be patient, but not that patient. :-)

Haha, yeah, GotF. My attackers are awful: Bladed Throwing Feathers and Replica Minotaur Knocker. I just got a crit.

And yup, decided to start all over with a new pet. I should be using Domon for the other 20 BQs and getting him to T13, but my main just got to <2k stats till the cap so I'm gonna keep trucking on with him.

It's not that awful :D I think it's still better than my Nomad haha 😄 It's really hard to pick a decent T2 weapon so I just pick one random from my vault.

Congratz on inching closer to the cap :D That 13,000-stat gap feels like forever to bridge. I don't think I will ever make it there without using tomes when the time comes for me :D

How far is Domon from T13? Last time we talked about beating Prodigy I think you posted Domon's stats and he was around 15,000 total I think? :D

114 amulets in, 20 tomes out, not too bad, plus the 20 tomes I already had in my vault... time to do some boosting!

The number of times I have said I'm not going to battle with/read to any new pets... lol I keep saying it, so one of these days I'm going to actually follow through... I hope.

I'm not too fussed about the T2 weapons cause I don't plan on staying in that tier for long lol He's still in autotraining and he got 14 stats today just from hitting level 10, so at this rate we'll be on to the next tiers in no time.

Yeah, Domon hasn't grown much since then. He's at about 16k now. I got motivated with him for a while and got all the wins I could with him and then got distracted.

And ugh tell me about it. Getting ~7 stats a day from BQs sucks. Pretty much all of Thracian's growth now comes from tomes. I try to use at least one a day just so it doesn't feel so sluggish. I'll have to leech the speed and defense eventually to even out his final build, but for now I just wanna see that gap close.

7 stats per day DOES suck :'( I'm so used to the luxury of being able to afford ~ 20 stats per day from just EXP. Having that allowance cut down by two thirds is something I won't ever be prepared for, no matter how far (or close) to T13 I am 😂

Domon almost made it to the mid point between T12 and T13 :D. I'm hoping to gain 16,000 core stats by the time Rouland comes this Morostide but it still feels a little bit too ambitious. I'm really curious about at roughly which point at which tier other experienced battlers got their first 5 and then 10 wins against him. If there's a chance I could make it to 10 wins this year I'll be more active in buying and hoarding tomes. If 10 wins is still too far away a goal for 16,000-17,000 total stats, perhaps it'll be better for me to take it easy and wait till next year :D

Ooo Myrryah's only 300 stats from being T11! And with nearly 1mill EXP saved up, I should be able to get there. Going to wait until I hit that million EXP though. Also need to decide what to spend Endalin's EXP on. Maybe try to get 6000 in strength and defence. HP costs so much to boost with EXP :(
