I am excited!! This community of battlers seems really neat! has spent a few days now trying to help me gear up for t6 and beyond! :D

I think we all hit speed bumps where our pets don't yet have the stats to take on the next challengers or aren't a high enough tier to equip weapons that are especially helpful. You're in good company.

Possibly, but you will get there soon! Depending on what weapons you have, you may be able to start beating level 15 by tier 6 :D

Yeah it is super weird. Albert only had one loss against mephysto and Forli had 2 losses. Those were when they were trying to go for win 9. They were already close to T4 (around 270 - 280 in each stat) so I just figured I would wait for T4, but it looked like he should be beatable at T3. I tried with Deino and he only got the one loss. That one loss also wasn't from a crit, it was from him being chain frozen because my parched blessing didn't activate. Based on the wins/losses I am assuming that beating him has more to do with STR/DEF/Health all being around 260+ and speed doesn't factor in.

I'm a late responder, but thank you to everyone for the congrats on beating Surge! I've beaten him over the past 3 days too woohoo!

sadly I cannot add a "make your turn" button to the top :( That would require HTML. I made it so that the button would start at the top and follow you as you scroll, but honestly it was really wonky and I couldn't properly size it. XD

[edit]Random Event while posting, I should visit ya'll more often! ;) You notice a Arsenic-Laced Peanut Butter Cookie on the ground, but right when you bend down to pick it up, lizard minions come out of nowhere and scurry off with it!

Your trap springs and you spray like mad as the lizard minions escape. They will not get away this time! You place Arsenic-Laced Peanut Butter Cookie into your inventory.

Actually I have a code that will put the "Make Your Turn" appear on top, so I basically move it from below to the top. It works well for mobile, so that a plus. Maybe they will put it back one day, it used to be on top and bottom, but something happened, and it went back to being on the bottom only. Oh wells.

- this community of battlers is absolutely the best! They are always willing to help. I'm not at all surprised to hear that is being generous with her time and advice.

- yes, every so often strange things seem to happen in battling. It would be sooo interesting to know just how the code is written and what is the most important for each challenger. On the other hand, if we knew too much, it might make battling less fun. Still, I'm very intrigued to hear the results you are getting from your different build pets. :-)

You should totally suggest that they have a button at the top and bottom! Maybe in The giant list of usability and random improvement ? Amber and Bug have been making all these usability changes and I bet they'd knock it out. :) I would love if there was a button on top and bottom.

Congrats on your win against GE! Haha I would be impatient and just boost the remaining 22 stats xD You also reminded me to go up against Surge again! I tried the bludgeon of mass extinction and sierrac flail combo and that did the trick! I did also use 1 full block, 2 healers, 1 healing scroll, 2 blasters, cobalt scrolls, OC scroll and the energized helmet.

Yeah, it is slow going with the little ones though since I am mostly focusing on Verdugo and Oranos. Speaking of which, I need to go back and finish off slaglord and see if I can get 5 wins on xotl prince

- Flail and bludgeon did the trick for me too. He was still a tough nut to crack, I needed both my GoTF scrolls and pquill. But at least with that combo I was able to do damage every turn, instead of him over healing everything. Not sure why he gives me so much more trouble than the other EH opponents, but he's my least favourite.

What happened with Deino was interesting. I've just pitted Archi against the Dust Bunny and noticed that he hasn't got any crits so far. Granted, his DEF and STR are both higher than those of the bunny's, though he's got like less than one eighth the bunny's speed (95 versus 800) so I do think your guess makes sense. We just need more data to see the patterns (if there are any).

I guess that's why the full formular are never disclosed. I'm still unsure how speed works and whether the more speed I've got the less frequently I'll get crits until I outspeed my opponents, or if I'll get as many crits at 0 speed as I'll get at 1,499 if I go again the Gate Keeper, for example (he's got 1,500 SPD).

Congratulations on beating Surge :D. I know this is late as well but congratulations on winning the great bake-off competition 😄 I can't wait to be able to bake those Zasaba wings at Fantine's 😄

More than one way to skin a horse I always say. I'm sure there are several good options you can use to beat him with, but it depends on your build, scrolls and other weapons for which option works best.

It very well could be if your defense is greater than your opponent's strength then you can't be crit hit or if your opponent's strength is only a small % greater than your defense that you are less likely to be crit hit. It's easy to have a high defense against the easy, medium, hard and even a few of the very hard challengers because their stats are mostly even. For the extremely hard challengers and impossible challengers that have boosted strength, you would need to have 6,000+ defense and enough strength to do damage. Depending on how you train your other stats, they may put you in T12 territory when we know these challengers can be beat at much lower tiers. My guess is a higher defense build with a good balance of health won't stop the crits but will at least help you survive.

Battle Quests done for today. Only Level 22 - Scary Singer, Surge and Mornrise Serpent. Oh well, tomorrow's another day.

Wow - the way everyone is talking about Surge I'm starting to wonder how Tos ever manages to beat him with only the weapons/scrolls she's using. Hopefully, she'll continue to manage, since I'm still seeing him often in BQs. At least he drops EH tokens. Someday, I'll be able to make that helmet. :-)

- could be. Still, I'm curious and sometimes I wish we knew all the answers. :-) As for speed, I guess we don't know, but I vaguely remember hearing that it was more like a switch. So crits on below the challenger's speed and off above. It seems likely if crits are on that other stats may then play a role in how often. Any thoughts?

I just wanted say thank you , I've been using my Frostbite Amulet like crazy and it's been helping me beat opponents that I hadn't before! Thanks for recommending it, so glad I bought it :)

Got through 25 BQs today (before hitting T10). I beat Sandragon twice, who I had given up on trying to BQ! He annoyed me too much because he kept slaughtering me. And I got Bonesaw, who I never battled before. Took him out too!

All that's left for my 21-24's is Saggi. Got to figure out a way to beat him now. >:|

Thank you! He normally doesn't give me trouble since I can tank him with the tower shield and flail but I can see how much more difficult he becomes by just swapping out the shield for a runner-up weapon. Wooo congrats on T10 and new enemies to fight! Xotl prince is a tough one, I didn't think Oranos could beat him yet but he managed a couple of wins. The pain with Xotl prince is he has the potential to do A LOT of water damage as well as other icons and has an annoying curse that doesn't allow you to use scrolls. He also has another curse that does unblockable damage but it's the scroll deactivation that really makes him hard.

Congratz on making to T10 😄 You're ready for the big baddies now haha.

For Saggi I kind of forgot what I used against him the first time I beat him. He's big on light, fire and physical so Large Gutting Knife, Plague Claw and Perilous Whirlpool might be helpful. I think back at that time I used Prodigy Staff against him but can't for the life of me remember what the other weapon was 😂.
