Lol you nailed it on the head 😂 I can't stop laughing at Cinthi being labelled 'public enemy number 1'. Why, we all have been there before and I can't agree more lol.
I'm also saving my last 5 wins until I've got 21,999 stats or so XD. I hope she will be less of a pain then.
Same question with : Do you think it's worth it to complete my bobblehead collection? I'm frowning at the price tag but I've managed to grabbed two Tridents for myself.
Oh , I tested and yes, we can bring both forms of the trident into the same battle 😄 I forgot to tell you the result.
- I am thanks. Reading is always good - and getting your thoughts in order as well - something we all need to do from time to time. Let me know if there's anything you'd like to talk about.
- thanks, I sort of wondered about that (although a second trident would be nice to have for the lower tier battle pets, since you lose the mods when you transform it - on the other hand - I could buy a whole lot of mods with that much sP/CSC).
And I know that Tos will get there, I just keep wondering how long it will take without any boosting.
Wondering why you would want another trident if you already have two (and have sold at least one other - thank you!). Unless you would be making a profit on it, what could you possibly do with a third one?
I'm just being greedy 😄 There's really no particular reason behind me wanting another Trident :P
The second one I got for a good deal very recently. Wouldn't want to miss the opportunity and wouldn't want someone to underpay the original owner. For now I can use it for my T6 going on to T7 pets during site events or stuff. Having another weapon that heals always helps and I don't want to lose mods on my Blessed Trident every time I want to use the lesser form :D
- you seem to be very good at finding good deals on weapons.
I think I'm just lucky to be at the Advertising board at the right time :P
You're right, it's really not worth it to buy a second Trident at the current price and I don't think we would need to transform the Trident 200-ish times to make the mod cost equivalent to the price of the weapon itself. I picked the second up also thinking about reselling it in the future. I didn't expect the bobbleheads would come back but the deal I got for my second trident was fortunately good so it wouldn't hurt me if I decide to keep it for longer than planned 😄
Lol good thing I already completed my bobblehead collection last time they released these 5, because I need to save my CSC for Black Friday. ;~;
I'm so looking forward to BF already! 😂 How are things going with you?
Slowly trying to save ~
I know it's still like 4 months away, but IDK if I'll have enough by then to get all of the challengers I still need. So if that's the case, I'll get the harder ones with better EXP & loot first and get the rest next year or something.
What do you think about the Trident for lowbie pets compared to spending the mods for Chums to use it? I've got two T6's/T7 soonish that could probably use it, along with a T4.
On the other hand, I'm glad I didn't buy the Summoning Altar and Molten Tome now.
It depends upon how many battle pets you think you'll have... With all my babies spread across multiple tiers, I have 2 tridents so that I don't have to keep changing it back and forth and losing the mods. For me, it's worth it.
EDIT:
Why are you glad you didn't buy the challengers?
I wouldn't have been able to afford the bobbleheads had I bought the challengers earlier. Plus, there's Black Friday to save for.
Yeah I'd go for those with the most EXP and better loot myself :D. I'm still missing most of the challengers from last year. Hmm I'm curious about the challenger they're going to release this month. We've got 2 Impossibles and 2 EHs already so I guess this time they'll go for something else. Still hoping against hope that there would be a weapon released later this year :D
Since you've got the Swash you can use the Trident for your smaller pets. I'd switch to Blessed Trident once they have all moved to T8 :D For weapons that I tend to modify more frequently, I tend to slot cheap mods on them, for example 2-3 BoNAs and 1 crit. They're not as expensive as parched and singed crystals so it won't hurt my pocket as much if I ever want to throw them away. Plus they're available in the Battle shop so that's all the better 😄
The BFS sale isn't as good as it used to be, and I don't recall challengers being sold at a discount. Sometimes we get lucky and they bring back old CS challengers, but never at reduced prices...
I do, however see your point. If you don't have a lot of battle pets, then there isn't as much exp to be gained. For me, they are a steal at almost any price because I battle with so many babies. I think of CS challengers as reusable boosters -- all that exp! :)
My priority on BF is books for my main pet, which this year is probably going to mean buying the lab notes I don't have. After that I go for challengers. The non-challenger books at least are discounted.
Yeah, I wasn't sure the Trident was more useful than Swash for Chums compared to how good it is for my other pets. Transforming it and modding it over and over is probably too much effort, and Chums will end up using the low end version out of my laziness :D
Good Luck! I tend to pay full price & pick them up -- just to know I have them. If I had patience like you do, I could save myself a bundle! :)
I know I want to get the Vandalized notes to unlock Sophie, but other than that I'm not sure which ones to go for first. I need to look into it more sometime before November.
And maybe we'll get some kind of bigger boss at the end of this year's set, like the scientist lady with the research notes. Maybe something that combines bits and pieces of the creatures from each land, that would be kind of cool. And I guess the loot for it could be a scroll or nice weapon or something.
The challengers aren't discounted, but they sometimes end up being cheaper buying them for the 250 CSC when they come back than buying them from user shops during the rest of the year. For example, I'm only really missing the research note challengers, which are all selling for 40-50 mil or more in user shops right now. I'd rather get them during Black Friday when I can get them for slightly cheaper, even though they're not technically discounted. I'm not sure if the other challengers are like that though, or if it's just because the research notes double as books.
I wish I could say it was patience, but it's really just my being cheap, oblivious, or forgetful.
"I'll buy this thing next csc bonus weekend..." Forgets and never buys that thing
They just had them last year I think, so we aren't likely to see them this year. May next year or the year after though. I had to wait a few years until they finally showed up. I bought the last few challengers I needed and all of them as books. I still have trouble getting myself to use them as books though...
EDIT:
lol That is so ME!
I'm still hoping they get brought back, but even if not I'll hopefully have enough to buy them next year or whenever they show up again.
I don't think I'll be getting them for the books any time soon though, if ever. I still have enough cheap-ish books that I can buy before that.
Haha glad I could make you laugh. Verdugo had around 16k -17k total stats when he got the last two wins on her. It's definitely do-able at mid T12 with patience.
Depends on how bobbleheads you are missing. If you are missing the whole bottom row it's not worth it giving the price of csc, especially if you already have 1 trident. I had two at one point, one for all my pets below T8 and my main one. It was nice but not necessary. It doesn't block enough wind below T9 anyway. You are better off with typhoon scrolls.
You will get there sooner than you know it. If you train everyday and use experience from battle quests, you can get to high tiers quick without boosters, especially if Tos is your only pet getting battle quests.
