Good luck! It's a lot to take in at first, but, with time, you'll find it all becomes much easier :D

Also be sure to do Shinwa Quests every day! Do her quest first so that you don't accidentally complete another set of quests and are unable to finish hers. She has a chance to give a stat booster.

Quentin quests are good to do for the Mage amulets. You can turn those in for a small chance at getting a tome, which is another stat booster.

If you are confused by what I said, just comment me and I can explain things better. XD I tend to be a little vague when explaining things sometimes... ;;

hey julie! long time no talk indeed. unfortunately i had lost quite a bit of interest in sub which is why i haven't been around much but i did participate in the gelly war! guess the battler in me is still going strong haha. how have you been?

don't worry about it! we've all been there. starting out as a battler isn't easy but you'll do fine in no time. plus the staff have improved battling so much over the past few years too. if you can complete some bqs you'll be able to get exp points to increase your stats. also, if you can, get your pet(s) a job at the job agency. occasionally you can get free stats there.

I've been good. Started working at a small law firm. Been there for about a year now. My son is a senior at university. But I think he'll do five years. Hubby and I are still going strong. All is good. Glad to see the battler in you is still there. Hope to see you around dropping by like this. Subeta is making some very nice changes.

You can also get random events and gain stats that way. And if you're lucky you can get a visit from the Oracle asking for an item in exchange for stats.

Read a to Brandine that I got for turning in the amulets. She gained a ton of stats!

Thanks for the help! I'll keep that in mind when I'm brave enough to fight him. I think for right now I'll be taking a small break from taking on the more impossible opponents! But it certainly has been fun to play around!

For the gate keeper, I got wins with my T8 using and . He does a lot of dark, physical and wind. He doesn't block a lot of water so the trident really comes in handy against him. Freezing is enabled so you can try chain freezing him. You can try if you have it to freeze. Not sure what tier your pet is, but is good as well for the extra turn to protect against freezing. Other weapons you can try against him:
