This guide shows the suggested tier for each opponent. This doesn't mean you shouldn't try to beat them if you don't fall in that tier, as persistence and luck pay off occasionally :)

This guide is more geared towards newer battlers without as much experience, so some of the opponents can be defeated in lower tiers, especially with a noneven build and high end weapons/scrolls.

If I have missed anyone or you have a different opinion on the tier, let me know! I'm happy to add anything I've forgotten or change anything I may have gotten wrong.

What do you mean by suggested? A lot of these numbers are way off, Are you going by first win or 10th win? (I would argue that for the most part the 1st win is more relavent because of BQ implications.)

I have beaten all of these in Tier 6 farily easily:

Lightning Sylph Odontos Recycle Beast Slavam The Hustler Wyrmgear

I'm beating Cursed Effigy the Tormented with some work in high Tier 6, and as soon as I hit Tier 7 and can use Combo Legends, I think it will be a 100% BQ win rate

These were very beatable at tier 5: Felibot 1.0.1 Fish Breath Jacques

Some of the "Tier 7" were also beatable at tier 5 with persistence.

I don't have most of the Research notes challengers yet, so I can't comment on those (I know they have "suggested levels" though)

A lot of the "retired" BQ challenge opponents are very very easy as well.

I am projecting being able to beat Saggi at low Tier 7, Gate keeper mid Tier 7, and I suspect that Sanddragon will the the hardest of the Lv20-25s

I think most of my numbers may have been based on loot wins.

That said, I've found the numbers to be fairly accurate even for first wins at Tier 1-6, which is probably partly because of my set and partly because I don't "persist" at those lower levels. (I'll try for a while, but it's seldom that I will try to eek out wins in that range, instead preferring to wait a little longer until the pet has a few more stats.) The higher tiers are admittedly off. My pets skip from a high-range T7 to one low-range T11 and one mid-range T11, and I know at those higher levels I have an okay-but-not-great set of weapons.

Are your wins with a standard event build or high hp build like I've seen you post about? First win, overestimating more so for consistent wins for the average battler. I am not making a guide that these opponents are beatable by pets in the lowest possible tier. If that were the case, I'd put prodigy in tier 11. But if I gather that some of the opponents listed are beaten by many people in a lower tier than they're listed, I'm happy to change them. These numbers are not of my own, it was just something that popped up in chat and I used the first numbers I got, expecting to improve upon them as the guide ages and grows :)

If it's based on loot wins, that makes a lot more sense.

The High HP build only started near the end of Tier 5, but yes, for the most part my numbers reference my high HP build, not a even trained build.

Many of those I don't think would change my ability to beat the opponents, but the hardest ones, but it would have a high impact on Cursed Effigy, Wurmgear, Hustler, maybe some of the other tougher ones.

I'll run a few battles quick with a tier 4 and 5, to see how far I can go.

If you think some of these need to be changed to a lower tier and you think an average pet can beat them with an average set (like no psycho smashers on a t3 pet or something) let me know. I expect some of them are wrong right now. I want this to be more for newer battlers who need some guidance though :)

What are you basing it on, BQ wins, win 5 or win 10.

For example I'm using this pet as my tier 3:

Admiral Beatd0wn Level: 81 Health: 238 / 261 Strength: 226 Defense: 228 Speed: 226 Intelligence: 85

Tier: 3

And the first 2 wins on Mephyesto were very easy (No scrolls), 5 is probably doable, but I also don't feel like proving it. 1 Win is easily the most important part though, because thats the point where you can beat him in BQs, and He is pretty much the hardest BQ opponent.

Also, it's not freezing tricks that get low level wins, it's Divine Denizen Scroll that is the workhorse of low tier battling.

Felibot and Jaques I am positive should in in tier 5 though, and if new batters are ignoring them, they give up HUGE EXP from BQs for months at a time.

[edit] Also, at low tiers in general, budget really doesn't come into play. There aren't even expensive weapons availible that are worth buying. I use a trident only for convenience, It's not by far the best weapon in the slot.

For now, I think first win makes the most sense. Alright I shall change her to t3, divine denizhen is obtainable enough for everyone to consider that a staple.

If you're confident in the other two, I shall move them too. Like I (think I) said before, I haven't really tested any of these, just got these numbers from someone and expected to change them later if necessary.

That's true for the most part, though if you had a low tier pet with a lot of AP, it could skew things greatly if you just put a lot of freezers in there and chain froze everyone to death. I imagine you could do that for awhile and take down some t3 opponents in t1.

[edit] Added fishbreath and felibot back to t6, someone who is t5 is having a lot of trouble with him, so I think it's fair that he goes back to t6

also added the new challengers in, debating if nependeath guy should be t3 or t4, don't really have anyone to test that

What sort of stats are good to have before trying to beat tier 1 opponents? I've just joined so my stats are terrible and I just got destroyed when I tried, but I'm training :P

Some tier 1 opponents can be beaten right away, it just depends. Keep training and after a couple days, you'll be able to win against a lot of them probably :)

Back when I was BQing with lower tier pets, I worked off the same Tier to difficulty as THESOVEREIGN. Exception being for the EH challengers because I gave them to bigger pets to keep them growing. I went with Tier 8 for EH normally for BQs. Though for events/plots or if I really wanted to get to next tier, some EH are definitely doable with Tier 7.

What weapons are they using?

Tell them to try:

Freeze + Freezewand/Reborn wand + DD scroll Blast + blast + best healing scroll they have available Freezewand + Trident/Knocker + DD, heal as needed until dead.

Might be like a 33% win rate lower on in tier 5, but before Tier 6, it definitely approaches 100%

If they are giving up in those challengers, they are missing out on a 2-3 stats per day.

I'll copy/paste that into a comment for them but I think it's more realistic to keep him a low t6 challenger.

I will eventually get on to moving them into low/mid/high sections in each tier above a certain number, especially higher tiers.

You can beat General Error at tier 8 and Saggitarius at tier 9 pretty reliably; it's been ages since Algebra slotted into those tiers though so my insight is pretty shallow. Error is easier to brute force due to his low HP. It can take a few attempts but the BQ EXP is nice. Saggitarius is a bigger pain with his blocks and high HP, but I was beating him without reliable blockers (think I used Blessed Trident and Cork-Tipped Cutlass).

you think it's possible with cheaper weapons? neither of those are exactly affordable to most t8/t9 pets. in order to fight GE with a t8 pet during BQs, you have to luck out during 20-24 I would imagine. I'll change them both though if you think an average pet / user can beat them in those tiers though. though I would probably prefer GE going in t9, that gives the user access to the helmet which is very useful for him o-o

I have made it through 24 at T7 3 of the last 4 nights, its definately not unheard of. I got stopped on GE tonight (lv25).

hm yeah it sounds possible to get to 25 with a t8 pet then. sanddragon would probably stop you early though right?
